I have had this watch for about 1 week and it is amazing. I think this makes many of the microbrands seem less attractive for the price. I don't think the Swiss have anything to worry about because they are selling more than watches (heritage, prestige, achievement etc.) but for the less well known microbrands, this is a very real threat to their business.
I wish your channel would get much bigger. You deserve it. Excellent job, very thorough, a real deep dive into the watch. The video shots are top notch. A minor suggestion- some music in the background, maybe not all along the vid… In mine I didn’t have problems with the screws. I love this piece, I am not in love with it, yet.
Fantastic video and watch. After watching the intro I had to check your sub count because the quality was so good. I got this watch in a week ago and have been really enjoying it. The screws were a tad tight adjusting the bracelet on mine as well but luckily not to the point that yours got to. My only other critique I go back and forth on is whether a white tip on the second hand vs the red would have went better with the color palate. Overall, for the money this watch is hard to beat. Great review overall; you’ve gained another sub.
Thank you for the review - very good job, different from other reviews. You have a good capability to observe and putting it in words, but also good illustrations to make a point (pic of wild animal or space to illustrate dial) - love it ! Thanks again and have a blessed and joyful day, Eric from France 🎩
Thanks for your comments. Sometimes a watch will remind the wearer of some other form of artistry, or evoke an emotion. I try to represent that if possible. Merci d'avoir regardé !
Fantastic videography, great review. I ordered my 39mm blue on 17th, and it finally started moving a couple days ago. I got it for £149 so I’m thrilled. Also subscribed.
Quality and delivery of this video is A1. This channel deserves rapid growth. I like this watch and I am tempted to place an order. I have a few SanMartin watches and I like them all.
Yeah, I have quite a few San Martins now, and they're all impressive. But the slim case, dial pattern, and finishing of this one make it stand out. Thanks for watching!
Having seen your excellent review I put a tiny bit of lubricant on the tip of the screws before screwing them back in which went very smooth. The clasp and one of the chain links also needed some lubrication. The watch is beautiful. Maybe I will have to regulate it in a few months because out of the box it is running at average at -10 s/d. Not perfect but can be easily fixed. But I will wait because often this changes after wearing them for a while. Great musical performance by the way!
Great video and I really like the intro As a novice collector and a new creator, I finally understand the subscribed vs views. That's why I subbed on both my accounts. 😉👍🏾
Thanks. That could be. I didn't see any loctite on the screw, but maybe there was something. I haven't really heard of others with this issue, so I'm hoping it was just my own bad luck or user error. Thanks for watching!
Very cool. Good to have your take on it. This watch is going to be one of the watches we look back on when people ask, “when did the Chinese become a major player in the watch world?” And subscribe to the channel people. The man learned to play a magical cup for this video for goodness sake! Shame about the screw though…
Amazing video. Thank you. It’s such a great looking watch. Not sure how others feel about this large unsightly looking logo. It just throws off the dial balance and looks out of place.
Is the date centered correctly? Looked off a bit in some of the video, but could be parallax error. I've been holding out on purchasing a San Martin, but I am seriously considering this watch.
In some of the shots the date was starting to change over. I didn't notice how off center it was getting until editing it on the big screen. In reality, its centering is good. I can't imagine you'd be disappointed with this watch, especially if you get it during a sale. Thanks for watching!
Good luck getting one. I have had mine on order for over 5 weeks from the EU distributor and have enjoyed lots of varied excuses and broken promises as to its delivery.
@@worthwhilewatches Thanks. I've literally had an email one hour ago saying that they have sent it direct to me from China, tax paid by them. Tracking number provided and I should expect delivery next week. We'll see how things go.
10mm on the clasp and 8mm links is not that great. 8mm is pretty short for full links so I am guessing they are 9 or 10mm. The clasp could be more like 12.5mm (5 x 2.5mm) though which would help How many positions are there on the clasp? Sorry, I am a bit of an expert on bracelet/clasp adjustment so not having part links with those measurements is a fail in 2024. It will work for some, but like the Tudor BB fake rivet bracelet, will simply not fit others because the full micro adjust range is the same as a link.
Yeah, that's another thing I should add to the list of improvements San Martin could make. Half links with all their bracelets. This clasp has 6 positions with 10mm of travel. Links are 8mm from one screw center to the next. I was able to get a good fit with this one with room on either side. Thanks for watching!

Yeah, I like the red tip, but a white tip or all silver hand would've been good too. Enoy your watch and thanks for watching!
I enjoyed your video, the intro was amazing... this is the first video of yours that I have seen and have now subscribed :)
This is my first video of yours that I've watched and I immediately liked and subscribed. Great quality and insight!

Fantastic Video, you deserve more subscribers. Keep up the great work.
Much appreciated. Thanks for watching!

That's an absolute steal for this watch! I know you'll enjoy it. Thanks for watching!
Where the heck did you find it for that price?! Please let me know

This is a gorgeous watch. I'm going to have to get one of these. I've heard many good things about San Martin.
My friend this was such a killer video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. You also have a very unique and great editing Style
Thanks for the nice words. Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for watching!

This video is a masterpiece. Subbed for sure
Subbed a while back, great video!
Great video and I really like the intro

Thanks man, I just checked out your channel. Looks like you're off to a good start! Good luck, and thanks again.
Great video, my sn0144 had no bracelet screw issue, i did notice that they were fixed with some sort of white "loctite"
Thanks. That could be. I didn't see any loctite on the screw, but maybe there was something. I haven't really heard of others with this issue, so I'm hoping it was just my own bad luck or user error. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching as always! Yeah, San Martin is getting very very good, and I finally found a good use for the magical musical teacup!
I also ran into bracelet screw difficulties with a San Martin. I hope they get it sorted before I buy another.
Yeah, this is the first issue I've had with a San Martin bracelet. But I hope they can resolve any inconsistencies. Thanks for watching!
42/21mm is coming Tuesday and will be interesting to see how the bigger size compares.
Amazing video. Thank you. It’s such a great looking watch. Not sure how others feel about this large unsightly looking logo. It just throws off the dial balance and looks out of place.
I don't mind the logo, but I can see why others might not. Thanks for watching!

Sorry to hear that. I've gotten all my San Martins from AliExpress or Watchdives with no delivery issues yet. Good luck getting it sorted!

It’s an extremely comfy, well-done bracelet 👌
