I have implemented a lot of Ryan’s suggestions, and am growing more now at 45 than I did at 30. I’m drop setting everything right now and it feels great. For example: Bicep cable curl: 15, 15, 20 per set. 3 sets. So 9 sets total per exercise. Arms currently at 17,3/4” I do a 6 exercise split to help with speed. For example, I can work legs while arms recovery, and this allows me to hit one muscle group twice a week. Important for us slightly older guys. I also take long rests, which also helps get my volume in for the week. Ryan’s ideas work. I’ve built an entire program around them. 45 going on 30 - GET AFTER IT!

Ryan, the combination of getting on TRT and watching your videos resulted in my biceps finally growing at age 52! I have short/high biceps attachments and have always had a weak mind-muscle connection with my biceps. I've always had to hold back on triceps training because they grow easily and my arms always looked out of balance. Now with the muscle pump I have with a higher T level, plus focusing on exercises like decline curls, hammer curls, and drag curls, they are growing! Thanks!
HRT is the best thing ever for a man that truly has medical issues. I’d never touched a PED in my life, and did powerlifting off and on from my teens into early middle age, and one day noticed my strength going in the toilet, taking forever to recover, and my joints screaming bloody murder. Got tested, found out my testosterone level was lower than my 9 year old daughter, and started treatment……the difference was astounding. Feel better now than even in my young 20’s

Good video. I appreciate the honesty. I resent other RUclipsrs using your name for views . The reality is, your content is better than theirs and they need something to talk about.
I started trt in September after bloodwork showed my test level was a 110. No wonder I felt like shit all the time. Im 30 and felt like crap for a while too so safe to say my levels been low for sometime. Im 6 shots In I think as of today, memory sucks lately too. Started at 100mg cypionate every 14 days. Bloodwork showed a spike to 500 day after shot but by the time next shot rolled around I was back to a 110. Felt even worse since starting because of the spike followed by the big drop. Starting with today's shot doctor changed things up. Doing 160mg cypionate every 10 days. Will run this for 3 shots and do bloodwork before/after the 3rd shot to see how my body is reacting. Hoping for a more stable level at this dosage/frequency but still trial and error. Just hoping for results because feeling this is the worst. Hoping for the best though. Love watching these videos, always gets me amped. Of course was arm day this morning so missed out on this but will do these next arm day for sure.
Love your content, Ryan. All of the variety and new ways to improve my mind to muscle connection has helped a lot. I've been in a rut for awhile doing the same crap over and over.
What Precisely should I be checking for bloodwork? Maybe I can find a private clinic that works with athletes specifically instead of going to regular physician.
I tried to add that cable exercise combo to my exercises today along with the one from one of your other videos with leaning forward and beck on the bench. Man, I never had that kind of pain in my hands. It works. I was making bad noises today at the gym just from hand exercises. Great

HRT saved my life too Ryan. Low T sucks but it doesn't have to be like that. Im not one for injections so I do a non FDA approve treatment. Its Biote hormone pellets. Yam based no side affects and it works been on it for 6 years and my blood work shows everything is good. My T stays up for 6 months so 2 a year I get the pellets instead of shots every 2weeks. Just found your channel yesterday. I like your style man, no bullshit, right to the point, and good info at that. Sub'd and ready to try some new things in the gym 🤘
Awesome brother, thanks! You are in perfect shape man, I’m 60 now so I can’t go too heavy anymore, I have some injuries, (shoulder, discs/degenerative spinal, knees) from years of construction work and working out, so I just stick with light weight now. I’m on TRT so I do have a little help, but I’m not very educated about bloodwork/ levels etc. I do my own injections and I’m doing 100 mgs. Delatestryl per week, and my test level is above normal, so I assume that helps. Any tips?
I'd like to hear an in-depth discussion about bloodwork... Maybe just a short video about exactly which levels to test? I'm working my way through your videos so if you've already covered it, I haven't found it yet
Great advice on getting blood work and check ups routinely! Plus, your content on arms specifically is great! I do your workouts and holy shit I get absolutely pumped in minutes--I'm a soon to be a 56 year old guy and these are by far the best arm exercise builders--keep up the great work-I too am an asshole!
Ryan thank you, you finally addressed my comments at the end of this video. I’ve been one saying you did compound lifts and have taken steroids to get your size. I respect you, and have learned new lifting techniques from your workout, so I thank you for that. Like you said your taking TRT and it has helped you in life but you weren’t just taking TRT before you came on the scene, bodybuilders take a concoction of growth hormones and by your physique as a bodybuilder it wasn’t just TRT, but I believe it is now. I’m 46 and still gain muscle ( not like I used to of course but I’m in shape) but I don’t get my blood work done because I don’t want to rely on a drug for the rest of my life and I will just deal with it as I age, people are so quick to pull the trigger and start messing with their hormones. I honestly trust God for youthfulness he promises in His Word. I respect your honesty. My body doesn’t respond well to high reps but 6-8 reps heavy compounds build more muscle for me and the high reps tone me up more, but i do experiment with your workouts and they do tear me up and love the soreness. I’m 6’3 210 maybe if I took TRT I could get to a solid 215 but like I said I just don’t want to rely on something that won’t always possibly be available.
Nooooo. My fat thumb hit dislike!!! It was an accident. I will buy 2 more phones and hit the like button on both. Big fan. Keep it going. We’re watching.

HRT was never ment to be used as a legaized l steroids.
Guys remember that Ryan was a Pro Bodybuilder so he crashed his own Test levels using tons of drugs during that time.
He needs to take TRT shots the rest of his life now. 🤦🏽♂️
@@immelting9834 HRT = steroids its the same thing. A low dosage of steroids is still steroids, even guys in IFBB on high dosage are on some lower than others
Love your content, I blew up my bis Tuesday, still a little tender today Friday morning. your leg dumbell workouts are killer too, I'm in this for the long haul, 1 day at a time, thats my motto!!
This dude gets straight to the point !
As someone that has had a break from training for a few years due to busy work etc, im finally getting back in there and i've been using alot of Ryan's exercises and holy shit, i've never felt anything like these!
Love every single video you put out, and your honesty too... The sarcasm tops it off😂😂
2 video requests:
1 - kettle bell work
I'm training in my home gym, only bumper weights and kettle bells 😕
2 - meal plans
I've switched to a plant based diet and would be interested to see what your average day looks like, from a meal perspective
Thank you for the great content!👍
Over quarantine all I did was watch Ryan, so I gathered up all his information and put into my training in my backyard and let me tell you I finally passed that shitty plateau that I had been stuck on for 6 months, with shitty ass weights and a little bit of improvising in my backyard, all thanks to this asshole ❤️
Thanks for all your videos 😎💪🏽
Appreciate your knowledge
Oh my god. This dude is amazing. Straight to the point and doesnt talk too much! 👍
You fucking rock, bro. Short, honest, straight to the point. Love your videos.
Top man , just tells it as it is . No bullshit or nonsense. Thank you from Inverness, Scotland 🙏🙏
Keep kickin ass. Thank you for all the info and humor.
ryans one of my top youtubers to watch, i always enjoy his stuff and try out his suggestions in the gym

RIGHT ON RYAN...your spot ON.
HONESTY?! So refreshing!!!
Keep kickin’ ass, brother 👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇸
Your videos/content are great, I enjoy your knowledge, perspective and how you deliver the information. That is why I keep coming back to your channel. Keep up the great work from one Arizonan to another and let's get growing! 💪🦵🏋️♀️
Found this channel today. So to the point. Utterly fantastic. Thank you.
Great advice on bloodwork at the end!
when doing the drop sets, do you go through the rack with one arm before switching, or finish the other arm before dropping down a weight? I'd hate to accidentally work one harm harder if I forget how many I make it to.
Mr. Ryan H's bicep awesomeness routine! Excellent!
Hey mate could you do a video on what you talked about at the end in terms of getting blood work done? As in what do you need checked, what do do about it?
Just so we can go see a doc well informed of what we want and why!
Appreciate the honesty Ryan.
Came for the badassery, stayed for the honesty. Thanks for sharing bro. Respect
Ive been lifting for over 20 years, im 43, and i always pick a few things up from this guys videos.
For real, I watch this dude and I'm like ''Why didn't I think of that?''..
Didn't know about HRT till he mentioned it and I looked it up. That's crazy stuff, at some point in my life, I may do that once I get old enough. For now, I'll try improving my diet and increasing my exercise. Great content man.
Good video. I appreciate the honesty. I resent other RUclipsrs using your name for views . The reality is, your content is better than theirs and they need something to talk about.
Love the videos man short sweet straight to the point great job
Yooooooo dope vid man really feeling that arm workbout!! Keep up the good stuff man
Thanks Cuz...... Gunna hit this set tomorrow
Appreciate the honesty bro.
Ryan! You are the man! Don’t change a thing. ( unless you lose your humor... then get it back)
Absolutely awesome video. You got yourself a new sub here dude.
You are awesome!! Love your videos thank you. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Great videos. Amazing knowledge.
Do youhave a video dedicated to this topic of bloodwork? Thanks.
I tried to add that cable exercise combo to my exercises today along with the one from one of your other videos with leaning forward and beck on the bench. Man, I never had that kind of pain in my hands. It works. I was making bad noises today at the gym just from hand exercises. Great
I’m so glad I found this channel
Hey Ryan, can you possibly do vid on YOUR workouts? Like what u would do in a week in depth?
Great video. Love the before and after...definitely agree with training philosophy here
This is one of the best arm workouts I've had in a long time.
Every vid i see of this dude he is speaking facts and also makes me laugh. I gotta subscribe
Hey man i just recently subscribed. I noticed in a few videos you talk about getting bloodwork done. If I go about getting blood work done what do I have them test for?
These were brutal, and I loved it.
I frickin love watching your videos mate, keep em coming 😂 so honest.
Perfect! Today's arm day!
Me (flexing in the mirror): I want more biceps
(Two hours later)Ryan: How to get bigger biceps
He is the body building google...
I swear there is already mind reading algorithms
We agree you need bigger biceps...Good luck son
Sincerely: CIA, NSA, FBI
The ROIDER'S plan book:
1. HIDE the STEROID use. Don't ever bring up STEROIDS. LIE & DENY their use when asked. If that doesn't work, go to plan 2.
2. DOWNPLAY STEROIDS. Tell people STEROIDS doesn't do anything. If that doesn't work, go to plan 3.
3. COMPARE STEROIDS to other UNHEALTHY things like ALCOHOL, CIGARETTES, ETC... "Try" and JUSTIFY using STEROIDS. If that doesn't work, go to plan 4.
4. Call them names & CURSE at them.
Even if you admit to using STEROIDS, you still have FAKE muscles and FAKE strength!
Stay natural buddy!
Brother I love watching your videos you're a crack up just got my blood work done all my numbers were in range towards the high-end I put an inch on my arms in 7 months not bad for 61 natural supplements and food thanks again keep on going brother
And overall is less expensive than injections. Check it out lmk what you think. Keep doing your think and thank for the knowledge. Keep training fun and new is what you do for me and many others. You're the boat! 💪☝🤘
I did learned a lot from Ryan, included many of his exercises in my schedule and observed a big change.
I bought your program. One question when you said get blood work, what do i have to check with the doctor to make sure i can grow my muscle?
As always...fuckmazing. I've learned a lot with you and continue to grow. Get at it and keep it up.
That front-facing, cable-crossover bicep curl (1:25) is straight fire. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!
Love to hear more around cortisol and it’s impact on building muscle. I recently found out that my adrenal gland isn’t functioning properly
Great vid as always Ryan, quick question when did you realize your test was low?
He had screwed up his Test levels from the years he was a Pro bodybuilder. All those years he abused illegal drugs.
Nooooo. My fat thumb hit dislike!!! It was an accident. I will buy 2 more phones and hit the like button on both.
Big fan. Keep it going. We’re watching.
As always, damn good info, demo and added facts and humor. Humor, we need more humor in the world. Two thumbs up.
Ryan. New to hrt, but I know that you have endorsed products in some of your videos. Do you endorse any places for hrt? First place I seen in google search was renew youth. Thanks and I love your advice and humor.
Thank you for short/brief videos
Thanks for keeping it real about the HRT brother 👌
Hey love your content keep it coming
Ryan what brand are your shirts ? Or where you buy them..love the fit
Honesty. Thats what I take away from this channel, and it works!
Hi ryan. Thanks a million for all your work out videos. Our gyms are closed here in Ireland so doing your legs video now and I'm crippled 🤣. Just wondering, Would it be possible to add set reps for your arm and bicep videos as it that was a big help in your leg video. 😊
