I've been trawling BJJ videos for ages. 99% of them spend too much time blabbing which breaks up the action and actually makes it harder.
Then I came across this one. Beautifully explained. Repeated from several angles. Deliberate, step by step moves which are perfectly clear to see.
For this quality, you should have 1000x the views! Please keep making!

Thank you for posting this. For whatever reason, I tend to forget what to do once I am on side control. Hopefully, I'll remember these tonight.

wow, that's really well explained. Its great that you put together 4 movies for a position most videos only show one move so learning can be confusing for beginners.

Hey brother, 8 month white belt here. Watched this video the night before my first no gi tournament. I was in the 170-180 weight bracket. Tapped my first opponent to that side control Americana you showed. Thanks so much! Won my second match 6-2, and then lost in the final due to being gassed lol. I’ll take a silver medal for my first tournament though. Thanks so much man!!!

None of your opponents had even basic white belt defence blocking your hip. Getting to mount is so easy to block, no idea why bother teaching a summation that requires it.

Awesome man. Your vids get to the point and I like that. For me, I've just started rolling, and often I get in both offensive and defensive positions and have good intentions, but then don't know exactly what to do.. the steps..
That arm triangle is gold. I'm gonna try it next roll for sure haha.

awesome video, as a former wrestler i always find myself pinning people and then not knowing what to do. The other side control submission videos i've watched look like some anime ninja tactics lmao. These seem a lot more doable as a beginner.

    • @t_share8032

I love the "blabbering!" Aye TONY! If you hit the left arrow key on your keyboard it skips a head 5 seconds. Maybe use that feature some moR rather than being an @$$. 😉
Another strategy is going down and clicking on the where the technique starts... RUclips even shows you where... Also Key moments work too... You got options!
