      To many videos out there VS zero resistance... and anyone who trains knows that it must be accounted for 💯

      @@DMBrazilianJiuJitsuthis was really helpful. I was just trying to get to the Americana from Mount against a more advanced player yesterday and I could NOT get his arm up against his head. I eventually did get the Americana position by rushing into it as I let him think I was letting it go. This video came to mind.

    I often end up in mount struggling to get an ezekiel choke, arm triangle or armbar finish, and just sit there in mount so I will definitely try these triangle setups next time it happens.

    jon danaher has a video on another way to do the second one but slightly different when you walked you go under his neck and pass his head and control the otherside with the walking hand then it takes away his whole body. not even ripping the choke its choking him. He will instantly tap if you crank it

    3:18 what if instead of him going for your knee, he would just deny your setup.
    he just reaches both his hands over your head, locks hands over your neck and pulls you close to his chest.
    and theres a nast behind the neck pain. how to solve this?

    What if the opponents knows how to escape the mount properly and keeps his arm to his body while pushing the knee and doesn't offer the setup?

    • @sandfordstebbings125
      @sandfordstebbings125 3 года назад +1

      Hi, look up the punch choke, if his arms are pushing your knees, they arent protecting his neck. The punch choke is complementary to this setup, the better you get at it, the more they need to flare their elbows to bring their hands to protect the neck. As they do this, you can just bring your knees up their body to stop them bringing their elbows back in. Or, you just finish the punch choke.
