@@DeathBlocks Realistically, most people are only going to be wearing the trousers and shits most of the time, but that doesn't make the jackets a bad thing to have if you can afford them. At absolute worst, the few times you do need them you know you have jackets that match your trousers, and that's nice. Of course, the "if you can afford them" is a big if, but I feel like anyone who is in a position where they need this advice - where they'd at the very least be dressing business-casual frequently - can.
You can’t wear a black suit to a job interview. Black is only for funerals and weddings I thought. Charcoal can be worn for pretty much any occasion though
I agree. In my opinion, brown suits don’t work on everyone and they don’t match with most other colours (like a white or blue shirt or with white or grey trousers).
I wouldn't recommend starting with black, though. It's the least versatile. Also, colors definitely depend on your skin color. Some will complement it better than others.

When I was in college, I got a job at a suit store and used the employee discount over next few years to build my professional wardrobe. What they're doing in this clip works really well as a selling tactic, and you'd be surprised how many people would come in to buy one suit and walk out with 2-3. That being said, it's not as simple as they make it. Yes you can break one suit set and mix it with another set, but you gotta what you're doing. If you are mixing suits from different seasons or wool types, there is a very good chance you will end up looking like a mook. Higher grade wools will have a nice sheen to them for example, while a super 100 wool will look dull in comparison. You put them together and it just looks awful, especially in photographs. If you dont have a good eye for detail, a sport coat is a much safer bet for mixing and matching. A sport coat will look good whether you wear it with slacks, or opt for a more casual option like jeans. If you mix a suit jacket with jeans on the other hand, it will look terrible.
Thanks for the info. I was thinking the same thing. Seems to me also the suits need to be off the same material type to be passed off as a two toned hook up. I can see someone picking a linen suit, a worsted wool, a tweed, a Shark skin and a silk trying to hook them pieces up😂

A suit is a staple for any man who attends traditional church services weekly, goes on dates to nice restaurants or is interested in business of any kind. As long as the suit fits well. Nothing worse than an ill fitting suit. Cheaper suits from big chain stores are fine, but find a nice little lady in your city that does laundry and adjustments and she'll make that suit fit you properly, usually pretty cheap too.
Although, some of the combinations go better with one another. Cream goes best with brown and tan. White goes best with black and grey. Powder goes best with navy, but also can go nicely with brown and tan as well. That being said, the suit jacket and suit pants tend to be the hardest match. A black shirt with grey pants or vice versa will look strange, while a navy jacket and tan pants or vice versa will look absolutely fine. It’s all about how the colors play off of one another. You’ll also want different colors and styles (matte vs. shiny, standard vs. boot) of dress shoes to match occasion and suit color.

That's so cool that this demo is shown with two different sized models. I worked in fashion for years and was dating this guy that had no fashion sense. He had a lot of great pieces in his closet that his mother would buy him. There was an event at his company, so I pulled pieces from his closet and styled him. He looked really sharp. When we got there, his cronies kept kidding him about "looking good", while they looked like they just came from a soup kitchen. He was uncomfortable with their comments, and afterward, he went back to dressing crappy and all those beautiful (and expensive) suits his mom bought ended up being donated to a local charity. Men don't really care. Nor do companies with an actual product that you should be making/creating. It is only a staple in places where you are basically selling smoke and mirrors, so you need to give an illusion of profession. In places where you actually create something and are not duping people out of their money, men and women alike come in relaxed and comfortable clothing and don't really care what they or other people around them are wearing. Also, never have I ever in my life approached a girl/woman in any form of formal/serious attire. I don't see maturity and/or authority, I see blandness and boredom. I'd take a girl in a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers over a girl in heels and short black dress as a friend/life partner/business partner any day of the week.

Black and blacker
I wish they did different races. Cream just blends with my skin and brown clashes badly with it. I have white, soft blue, soft gray, and cream-yellow shirts with an assortment of ties though I can rock a deep blue, royal purple, or rich burgundy as well.
For suits... I have a light black dark gray texture but nothing else. If I climb up in the business world, I may get more suits (especially more casual suits) but I wear a polo+jeans and my management all the way up to director wears a collared button-down and nothing fancy for pants. By the time I'd need suits I'd be making well over 7-figs and could easily afford it.

Thank you for the information!
Thanks for the info. I was thinking the same thing. Seems to me also the suits need to be off the same material type to be passed off as a two toned hook up. I can see someone picking a linen suit, a worsted wool, a tweed, a Shark skin and a silk trying to hook them pieces up😂

In places where you actually create something and are not duping people out of their money, men and women alike come in relaxed and comfortable clothing and don't really care what they or other people around them are wearing.
