Thank you so much for the kind words and excellent demo of my favorite amp Tyler. It is the amp that I personally use in my music room and I have access to many amps but choose the Ghia for it's rich genuine tone at always the correct volume. It lets what ever guitar you plug in shine with it's true unique voice. I have plans for a special 35 th. anniversary release of a special configuration in 2023 at a special price so look out for that.

The man himself! Thank you Dr. Z, this truly is a spectacular amp. I will definitely keep an eye out for the 35th and am already plotting how to add a few more Z's to the collection.

Great vid Tyler! You hit all the points about the Ghia!!! Mike, so good to hear the Ghia is your fave as well!!! Fell in love with it when I heard Dean Parks play one in LA many a moon ago! Have a few amps at the studio (vintage and new). First thing that gets picked for any session, any genre, even Metal (with pedals of course) is the Ghia!!!

I like how you demonstrated your points after each explanation. That amp is surprisingly versatile.

Thank you! It is indeed versatile, I haven't found a scenario it doesn't do well in yet!

I rocked a CG for many years. Run that thing W.F.O. and control it all from the guitar!

Lol, there are very few places that I can turn the Ghia all the way up. 🤣

This demo inspired me to turn my Hammond Ao35(the same amp DrZ used for the first Ghias) into a Carmen Ghia. I built an 18 watt into it previously but wasn’t satisfied with it. Glad I rebuilt it into a Ghia! This amp is fantastic! I was curious to see how much of your demo was hype and I have to say,it’s NOT hype. Your demo is quite accurate! I’ve definitely found Celestions to be a necessity with the Ghia. They’ll still allow great sparkling clean tones. But they won’t get fizzy the way a Jensen voiced speaker will with this circuit. A Blue or Greenback would probably be the best choices. Creamback if you wanna reduce treble. 12” all the way! Don’t be shy about the cab’s dimensions, either. Thanx for the demo. Very informative.

Glad that to hear the hype was justified! I've used a Greenback, Vintage 30, Mojotone BV-30V & even a cheap Behringer 4x12 and have gotten useable tones out of all of them. Hope you continue to enjoy your Ghia-fied Hammond!

Are playing straight out of the amp or are you using pedals in your demo.

I’ll slow down my vibrato if you promise to slow down your typing and actually proofread what you wrote. ✌️

The more I think about it, mine was well intended, was yours? It feels like you're a bit touchy. I liked the video but I'm afraid you won't keep people watching if you reach like that! I'm 71 and have been playing for more than 60 years.

@@Bob1053 Your comment absolutely did not come off to me as well intended. Honestly, I don't know anyone who would view a typo ridden comment criticizing their playing as "well intended", but to each their own. 🤷‍♂
