Salesman are a lot less pushy when they know your a professional, especially in the music gear sector, also these guy's work around music everyday, so it's a lot more mundane to them
zorth42 I had a great experience at this store (Righteous Guitars) when I bought a guitar. The salesman helped me pick out a few guitars to try, suggested (and helped me dial in) the amps to demo them on, then left me alone in the room. Came back from time to time to see how I was doing. No pressure whatsoever, just help when I needed it. I had a very good idea what I was after when I went in there. I was a very happy customer!
I get where you are coming from...but...that's a 3000 dollar amp which can't be replaced....whenever i try out expensive gear, i appreciate an attentive salesman, most of the ones ive dealt with were far more knowledgeable about the gear in their shop than i was.
ya true... I mean... idk about you but my music store is so chill I could just bring it back if it didn't play well with my stuff. also could pick my guitar off the wall if I needed.
Wow, more shops should have the level of customer service that Righteous Guitars has. Staff was truly knowledgeable and knew exactly which direction to steer Noah in for his amp of choice. I don't see service and employees like this anymore, even in the local mom and pop shops
Imduk our city would be happy if we had an actual guitar store. And to be treated nicely. Wow that’s an added bonus. Our former store employees were busy fighting with one another. (The employees and management and owners). It was scary in there.
lol, mate. i think the camera and the youtube channel helps for receiving for that level of customer service. it's basically a long form ad for the store.
Dude their customer service was on point! Idk if you just like knew the guy or what. But the guitar shops around my area need to watch this and learn some customer service skills. Super impressed!
Dude after watching many channels with their own versions of "Tour/Artist's life Vlogs", yours is definitely the most watchable and enjoyable. I dont know what sets yours apart but what you have going on is so good. I binged watch all of them during my lunch break and now cant wait for your new content!
If you're in the ATL area, drive about 45 minutes north on hwy 400 and check them out :-P But seriously, it's a sweet spot. Especially now that Atlanta Bass Gallery has closed, perhaps the only boutique-centric shop left in the greater metro.
What a great vid. Congrats to Noah on a nice Z purchase. Nice shop, too. A 'Plek' in house?? Wow. My IBZRRSr was 'plek'd' during a restoration. Plays great after 10 years.
This was an enjoyable vid, especially as my own guitar shop has just gone to the wall after nearly 50 years. Nice to see a knowledgeable guy helping and not pushing sales.Great Rhett!
Went to Thomann, Germany last month. I only fell in love with some strats, and I already own one. Decided to be rational and left without an instrument. God it was a pain.
My life lesson so far: never go to a store without a budget and without the set intention to buy something. Even if you don't you won't feel like being sucked in. Be prepared for your own good, the seduction is hard to fight.
Man that guitar shop looks so much more clean and professional than any guitar center I've ever been in. I would love to have one of those guitar shops here in town (Dallas,Texas)
My saying is always "If that doesn't work I'll go to Plan B." Why? Because even if I don't have Plan B all thought out, unless I'm against a time limit, I can always figure something out, some Plan B. Life always has options, often better than Plan A. Nevertheless, Rhett should get that Fender before someone else gets it, if he really likes it. One caution - used car salesmen learned long ago that a clean car was worth hundreds more than even a lightly soiled one. Today used cars get detailed to add value, and new car lots have a full-time car wash employee. That Fender might have been detailed to get it so clean., making customers think it had hardly ever been used.
Oh ben ... when i see your fingers dialing in on the amp my heart rate goes faster 😂 You gotta love the guy ! I had a ''ben'' at the store i went since i was 10yo and he recently past away ( i'm now 35 ) . I do miss him and realize how cool he was!
That '67 Blackface🤤 Unbelievably immaculate. Any Blackface amp looks cool mint condition or not. Local shop had a Blackface deluxe (don't remember the year) I was able to play through and it had the tobacco stains on the grill. It was beautiful
Righteous Guitars is roughly a 15 minute drive from my house. It's probably a good idea that I don't stop in too often. I could get myself in a lot of trouble in that store.
Wow what a great guitar shop. I like how the guy went to tune up the guitar before handing it to the customer. So many times I've tried guitars that had old rusty strings on them and were completely out of tune, which sucks...
2:53 Did Ben get it right? Really cool that he "guessed" that correctly especially this is not the first time I seen him "guessed" what Rhett needed and get it right!😮😮😮
I take my 15 yr old nephew anytime I go shopping. The kid is a walking internet Google master! With his phone I can find out within a minute prices, specials, rebates, reviews..... Same with car dealers. They know you know EVERYTHING. If Amazon continue it's trajectory brick mortar stores are doing the way of the DODO bird.
The more content I watch featuring Ben and Righteous, the more I want to book a flight and go check it out! The only concern I have is for my wallet... I could tell how much Noah just wanted to buy that guitar, too - but he held strong!!! Nicely done.
I love when the salesman askes him what his price range was....dude came out with exactly what the salesman didnt want to hear "yeah not really". You could see the salesmans patience and interest in customer service instantly begin to evaporate....and then..."1k to 1500"....that salesman came back to life like he got hit by lightning..."I GOT YOU!!!!!" LMFAO
Wow you saw al that in one second? I just saw a salesman strum the guitar he was holding with a game face on. I think you just projected what you were thinking :)
What a great store ... a fantastic selection of instruments and amps, and knowledgeable staff (watched the Les Paul 2019 plek video as well these guys know their stuff). Fun to watch poor Noah (and you Rhett) go through the same travails and indecision and personal justification/rationalization the rest of us non pro musicians go through. I'm going through it at this very moment with a Rickenbacker and the one golden rule is that any other guitar player with no skin in the game will be the "just do it" enabler if only to confirm their own decisions... :)
Dude mentioned the Mazerati-- that's the sign of a Real Dr, Z guy. Signed, a very happy Stang Ray owner. Now, if he knows about the Maz GT (very rare amp) and the other more obscure models, he'd really be impressive!
A great boutique-sounding amp for a good (but climbing) price are the old Trace Elliot Velocettes. They need to be modded to not blow themselves up (hah), but once that’s done, they not only sound amazing, but are very dependable.
Him not ever taking the tone knob to center drove me insane. Was hearing everything with very little high end the entire time through that guitar setting
Why are retailers in other countries so polite and helpful? Dude, I live in Perú, and when you enter into a guitar store or something, they barely even see you or ask if you're searching something

You will regret that Deluxe dude. It is deee-luxe. A 67 Blackface? You could have got it for 2 and a half. Shoot, Fender is doing repros of handwired Deluxes now that cost more than that.

I once entered a guitar store to check out the amp. I went home with 10 picks
I once entered a guitar shop and went home with herpes.
Hjalmar Lindø I once went into a guitar store to buy a capo and came back with a bass and bass amp
Well, Did you get the job?
I once entered a guitar store and came home with a Gibson Les Paul special. My wife screamed "I told you to pickup some tomatoes!!"
Mark Holcomb over there almost had you both leaving the shop with empty wallets. Good products mixed with good salesman are a dangerous combination.
He was good was he lol
Hahaha mark holcomb most vids I see little dude is clean cut and proper this one he’s flashing jailhouse tats long greasy hair. Pleking guitars

Maybe it’s just me but I like to be left alone while I try out new gear....less salesman pressure and I get to mess with the settings myself
agree

If you are serious about dropping the cash on a new amp, bring your own guitar
I second this! I bring my #1 and pedals every time I’m really looking at bringing a new amp home!
It was my first thought too when I saw them taking random guitars off the wall
ya true... I mean... idk about you but my music store is so chill I could just bring it back if it didn't play well with my stuff. also could pick my guitar off the wall if I needed.

Rhett I would have bought that Fender in a heart beat. Here in Australia that amp would be 7k plus if you could find one. God, my dream machine.
Richard Turner i was surprised by the « low » price tag too 😮
