Very helpful video. Complete agreement that lower 1/3 is the way to go. Thanks for the video.

Thank you. You've answered a question many of us out there had. Especially because this issue, had me holding off on my purchase of this VP9. I just don't get why HK, CZ, or any pistol manufacturer would develop and sell an optic ready weapon and not provide suppressor height sights with them. It's not that hard, my FN 509 came with the proper sights.
@@A2Kaid Here's the kicker, I'd even pay extra for it. My luck, CZ will start right after I buy my P10c. Btw, been trying to lay my hands on one for months now (I live in a 10 round state).
Tritium emits active radio isotopes that in turn excite "things" it's more a less a battery that will provide a source of excitement to the "glowing" medium. So yes he charged it because it's the phosphors that emit visible light once excited. X-ray is still light just we can't see it.
I suggest investing in a sight pusher. They can be had as low as $35. I have the VISM brand. I used it a few years ago on my USP 9 and now on my VP9L OR. I used the XS Minimalist. I wish somebody made a tad higher sights for use with a red dot. But that's what we have for now.
I know this is an old video but I have the optics ready vp9 and ordered these sights and the front sight just slides right through. The garage was kinda cold I didn't think the weather would mess with the metal that bad and I think the cold would make it tighter but I'm sure I'm wrong lol Do u think I got some out of spec front sights??
@@tacdad that’s where I have been looking all it has said for roughly a month is “call to place a back order” maybe I should just bite the bullet and place backorder
I went to the range and turned off the optic to test them out. They seem to need a slight 6 oclock hold. The sights that came with my VP9 tactical, those are dead on POA POI
Suppressor height is tricky. I broke my front sight trying to install. Its tall so if you press on it in the wrong area it'll snap off. Vp9 2020 same sights as these. It was installation error on my end but I contacted xs anyways to see what I should do now.

It is a damn shame for sure.

Thanks for the video!
I can’t see which holosun your running. Thanks
Would this work on the VP9L?
Will work on any VP9 series with an optics cut from factory.
@@tacdad perfect
Thanks for the video. Was considering skipping the buis but they are low enough not to cause any problems.
One of the only videos out on xs suppressor height sites for the OR KH VP9. Most appreciated!
i ended up installing the same sights and the front sight is lose it can slide between the front sight gap.. ended up using loctite
Not understanding what you’re “charging up” with the light? The orange around the tritium is phosphorescent paint?
Was wondering as well. It's tritium, it's radioactive, shouldn't need charging. Unless the orange ring is phosphorescent like you said.
Exactly why I came to the comment section as well.

Sight companies need to offer direct mount red dots, not these adapter plate workarounds.

Probably should call customer service. It should not be that loose. They have good CS
I am looking all over and it looks to be sold out everywhere. Where did you purchase?
@@FatTony1 Directly from XS sight

same XS tall sights for glock is $59.99. Everyone hates hk owner lol
Thanks, I am going to try these out
Hope you enjoy
Do the iron sights shoot POA/POI?
I went to the range and turned off the optic to test them out. They seem to need a slight 6 oclock hold. The sights that came with my VP9 tactical, those are dead on POA POI
is there a green RMR?
yes
Did you apply that red threadlocker to the sights for install? Is it really necessary?
I only had to do that on one gun that the rear sight started to drift during a match. Typically not completely required.
How hard was it to change out your stock sights with these new XS Sights? I just ordered mine today for my HK VP9 Optic ready.
I had a local gunshop do it for $30 to avoid stress.

Will these fit in a p30sk?
I don't think so, the p30sk has a different cutout for the rear sights.
XS does make sights for all #HK
Do you know these sights will fit VP9 SK model?
no they will not
Call #XS yourself no offense
