The bare necessities palette is my go-to everyday palette. The 2 shimmers on the top row are amazing. No pressed glitters. I also recently got the making mauves palette. I'm loving that one as well. I don't like the going coconuts palette as much as I thought I would.

Dream St was my first Colourpop palette, too. Kathleen was .y gateway to CP and those blues are what made me need it! I'm never not happy when I pick up this palette to use.
Mandy, you most definitely need Flutter By!! Cool toned mauve shades (truly) There is 1 pressed glitter in the 2nd row, 2nd shade from the left but every other shade is non glitter. There’s some stunning lid shades that are super creamy and metallic and some awesome mattes too. Based on your opinions and preferences I also think you NEED Making Mauves & Nude Mood!!! I think Nude Mood along with Double Entendre palette you already own would satisfy your indecision on Bare Necessities. I can’t stress enough how you would be pleasantly surprised by these 3 palettes 🥰 I would honestly tell you that you if I didn’t think you need them.....but ya do 👌🏼 Yeah, what was up with that Night Owl palette being released for 5 min and then away it went into thin air?! I’m SO glad I nabbed that when I did because it is heavenly and so unique, plus the packaging ♥️ I just ordered the new Garden Variety & Wild Nothing palettes along with a couple of blushes from the Garden collection and I cannot wait to get my hands on them 🌿🌻🍄

I think you’d love the Elsa palette. It’s cool toned and SO much more beautiful than it looks in photos. It has one of the most beautiful purples in it and a gorgeous duo chrome shimmer that’s unreal!
People stop at 12? I have stalked this brand for years and recently started to actually buy things and I have spent *so much* in the past two months buying the things I have wanted. I threw out all of my old makeup and I’m restocking with colourpop. A lot of colourpop.
I LOVE my Bare Necessities palette! I held off for awhile because like you I was worried about the price and the size, but I'm SO glad I got it! I'm kinda lazy and I love that I can keep one palette on my vanity and get all the looks I could want out of it - pinky, orange-y, bronze-y, subtle, dramatic, it's all in there. Highly recommend!
What I like about all these palettes is the ease their packaging adds to knowing if the overall look is right for your coloring, You can just hold up the front of the palette to your face and pretend it’s a shirt. If it looks good so will the shadow story.
Your channel is THE BEST EVER!!! Love how you use makeup, specilly your eye showdows. Every look has a fantastic vibe to it. And the bloopers at the end of some videos are just the best. I'm from Mexico and don't have access to every brand or palettes (either from Colourpop nor other brands). But I'm loving my Colourpop´s Mulan palette. It has at least one pressed glitter, but regardless, it's a beautiful palet for everyday or more glam looks =D Best from Mexico!!!
Hey Mandy! The bare necessities has no pressed glitters and the flutter by just has that one in the middle! If you’re ever curious about whether a colourpop palette has pressed glitters, I recommend makeup just for fun. She does videos on every colourpop release and used to be an optometrist (or some other type of eye doctor related job) and is super passionate about eye safety and advocating against pressed glitters. I recommend both of these palettes, it just comes down to need/want/what you will use. The flutter by has some gorgeous shades, but colourpop also has the most special shades available as singles (some under different names) if you really want to avoid the pressed glitters. I’d be happy to lyk the matches if you’re interested!
You Had Me at Hello was my first eyeshadow palette, and the first CP palette I bought from them. It’s my favorite palette till this very day, and I never get bored when I open it. Plus, the packaging is so sturdy and I still use the mirror when we used to be able to travel freely. I actually got the Making Mauves palette instead of Flutter By because it didn’t have the presses glitter, and they seemed to have a similar color story. It’s been my favorite to use during the spring, and I’ve been starting to gravitate towards it as we’re heading towards fall.
I want to say, Mandy, it was you, who made me try Colourpop eyeshadows in general. I heard so much about them, but I thought they don't ship to Russia. They do! And now my collection of Colourpop is slowly growing. And I'm so much in love with them! My first two pallettes were Going Coconuts and Flutter by. If you haven't tried the latter - do try it, it's beautiful! There is only one pressed glitter there. I also ordered Making Mauves, California Love, All That and Truly Madly Deeply. I love the formula, love the packaging, - I love everything about Colourpop eyeshadows now! They are just stunning!
I also have the You Had Me at Hello and All I See Is Magic palettes! I love the old Colourpop palettes, they just have such special charm. I don’t think I can ever get rid of them, especially AISIM, it’s one of my favorites!

Dream st was also my first color pop palette. I love Kathleen also. My daughter got me goin coconuts for Xmas and I was like thank u meh. But yes!! I love it!!!
The viseart paris edit is peachy. ( the $39 one ) it's gorgeous. The formula of the shadows are sublime! I think it's more of a Blush Crush vibe. I remove all the glitters. When I see them , I just get stuck. Removing them is really helpful.

I clean up the cardboard easily with a Q-tip soaked in Bioderma micellar water. I’d love to see you do a newly revised video on if you could design your own palette, which favorite specific colors you’d choose from other palettes you own ~ now that you’ve collected many more palettes over the last year 💕
Rumor has it Colourpop is coming to Target...definitely dangerous, their palettes are better in person, if I saw more of them in store might make me buy more. Ive gotten into singles more lately so I just got the She's A Rainbow palette, really loving it. So Jaded is on my wish list to get next
I own the bare necessities and so far I’ve really liked it! I’m more of a bold/purple tone kinda eye look gal just because I think color works better for my slightly hooded eyes and more yellow-tone light-medium skin tone, but pretty much every neutral in this palette works for me to create a solid, everyday, no fuss look. There are no pressed glitters, and the palette layout really suits being able to pick the tone you want for that look and rolling with it. I’m probably going to use it on one of my friends for her wedding look as well
When I started this video, I guessed Dream St would be #1!!! It is truly the perfect 12-pan palette. I own Bare Necessities, and there are no pressed glitters. It really is a good neutral palette: nothing too warm, nothing too cool. But I almost never reach for it. Other than the fact that I have a ridiculous number of eyeshadow palettes (can you see why I love your channel 😜) I don’t know why I don’t use it more. It’s lovely. When Boxycharm included a CP palette, I got an 8-pan palette called Semi Precious (I think). It’s all beautiful foiled shimmer shades, much creamier and more opaque than even CP’s regular formula. It’s discontinued, of course, and I don’t think it ever got much buzz, but I’m glad to own it! I think my #1 Colourpop palette would have to be So Jaded. I love the looks I get when I use it. I agree with you that I don’t reach for it often because I do have to make a plan for how I’m going to use it, but I don’t have a single other CP palette that makes me as happy as that one!
Colourpop has so many eyeshadow palettes. I have a bunch of them and only 2 of the same as you, blush crush and it's my pleasure. The flutter by palette is really pretty, I may have to pick it up next time I'm on their site. I started following you a couple weeks ago and have really been enjoying your content.
I absolutely love the bare necessities pallet, no pressed glitters and I use it for complete looks or a one shadow , companion pallet ..not overwhelming at all
I remember that I really was hoping to get You Had Me At Hello in my Boxycharm, but I got Element of Surprise instead. So, I ordered YHMAH the very next week! I still wear my YHMAH because it really is so pretty with it’s mauve, berry, and taupe shades. I can’t remember the last time I wore EOS. I have so many of them, but I agree that Dream Street is the best one.

I keep it in my pro kit and use it on almost every bride/client. it is seriously the ultimate neutral lovers palette. so jaded is a close second... but honestly I have quite a few of their newer, smaller palettes coming in the mail so my favorites could very quickly change! love this video idea though, I'm going to have to add it to my list!

I have the Colourpop Flutter By palette and love it! There's just one pressed glitter in there (admittedly I've never used it). But the rest of the palette is stunning and has a great range of depth, so I can overlook it. I've seen the Making Mauves palette compared to it, and to me it seems like the mattes are very similar and it's the shimmers that differ between the two palettes. Making Mauves doesn't have a light enough shimmer for me, so Flutter By is definitely my taste.
I love going coconuts ! I have making mauve but it’s not my favorite . I want the garden variety definitely going to order that and the candy land one really has me interested, I loved candy land as a child. Thanks for the video as always it was great! I knew it was going to be Dream Street. I decluttered mine, it's pretty but I wasn't using it. I think I used it twice the whole time I owned it. I wanted it to have a new home and be appreciated. The Owl palette looks so pretty, it was definitely underrated. Fun video.
I totally still have You Had Me at Hello, I got it when it was on sale for $10. I hadn’t even ever heard of the Night Owl palette, it looks beautiful. Flutter By and Going Coconuts are my favorite Colourpop palettes.
Bare Necessities is a fantastic palette. You won’t regret it if you get it! The value is great. And no pressed glitter! I also have the Flutter By palette. It’s beautiful. 1 pressed glitter (which I haven’t used but it’s gorgeous)! You can get either a soft or smoky look with this palette. And the artistry of the packaging is really special. Hope you decide to pick them up. I’m bummed about the Night Owl palette. That would have been right up my alley!
I had only Yes Please and Whatever for the longest time. Recently I bought Wild Nothing and Garden Variety. Love them! Separately and paired together. I also bought Aura and Out. Seeing it on the eyes of Samantha March sold me instantly! It looks very summery, but since I match my eyelooks to my clothing, seasons don't matter. I passed on Candyland....I'm trying not to fall down the ColourPop rabbit hole! 😁

Check out the Making Mauves palette - I have a feeling it may give you what you were hoping for from the URAQT palette. The shimmers are STUNNING, and the matte/sequin shades won’t disappoint (especially since you love that one shade in the Blush Crush palette). Flutterby is totally worth it despite the one pressed glitter, I love those very cool toned dusty purples, they’re very hard to find elsewhere.
Hi Mandy, Love your hair style today. I love Colourpop! I have the So Jaded, Going Coconuts, The Blush palette & The Flutterby palette. If I had to rank them I’d be 1) The Flutterby 2) The Blush palette 3) Going Coconuts 4) So Jaded. However, I love them all. I am a cool undertone, so if you notice, all of these palettes tend to be cool toned. In the Flutterby their is only one pressed glitter. 🥰🥰💜☀️💜☀️💜

Regarding the bare essentials palette, although beautiful, is not the most user friendly, given life, kids, etc...I am also in love with eyeshadow palettes, but there really isn’t a ton or a little that differentiates the selection of shades. Glitter.. mmm... never use it, so possibly overlooked. Anyway, keep being an awesome MOM, WIFE while being true to your own passions!! Much gratitude-
I only have one CP palette and it’s Dream Street. 😊 I do have some singles and love the formula. FYI on Bare Necessities - Makeup Just For Fun did an outstanding video showing how Bare Necessities basically “dupes” like 6 different CP palettes in one, Going Coconuts amongst them. Might be worth a watch - I bet you’ve got most of the shades already! 💜
The Garden Variety palette is on my wish list rn, along with the Making Mauves palette. If you want Flutter By but don't want the pressed glitter, you might want to check Making Mauves bcs they're both mauve-y palettes. Judy C has compared this two palettes on her channel if you want to check out the comparison. :) The Bare Necessities I'm sure it's stunning, but just like you said, if I want a neutral, fast, on-the-go look, I'll opt for a small palette. If you want an alternative, you might as well check Give it To Me Straight. :) Btw, Sweet Talk is on my top 5 Colourpop's palette! XD I also can't be bothered with pressed glitters, but I LOVE all the other 10 shades in there. :) Love watching your ranking! ^^
Also love love love the dream st palette. Mine is so dirty and used. 2 days ago I used it for a look and it can still makes me so so happy. Also love the making mauves and going coconuts. These are my top 3. The flutter by is amazing and you only have one pressed glitter, I can totally live with that ☺️
Agree with you on the Night Owl palette and especially the shade Bird Brain. There's really nothing else like it. I try to rotate between it, Going Coconuts, and Brown Sugar on days that I just want to throw something on and go.
Both of my favorites are discontinued. Dream street and Good Sport! I have pan in six shades in dream street and they might be the only pan in my collection. It’s perfect for every day!
💜 I don't know why ranking videos are so entertaining - but they really are! Thank you for this one! 💜 I've been on the fence about the TMEyes palette... The Bare Necessities is a nice neutral - no pressed glitters. I think the mattes are really good, some stunning shimmers (row 1 silk teddy is an an absolute winner), but 2 disappointing shades, the peach shimmers - row 2 and 3, the talk and designer duds - they are dry and don't build up well. There are 7 "sparkle mattes" too - I think those would have been better full matte, but still great quality shades :) Only Colourpop palette I own though, so I'm not sure how formula compares to other CP's. I like it but I don't love it - to be honest if I could swap it for Going Coconuts and Double Entendre I would, and I think you'd have 80% of the shades covered. Some video ideas.... :) Palette Throwback - creating looks and remembering the palettes that got us into makeup (and collecting) in the first place. e.g. UD Naked, Comfortzone.... & Battle of the rose golds - we all need a good rose gold, but who has done it the best? Sorry for the long ramble :) EDIT: forgot to mention - don't know if it is just mine but the Bare Necessities palette smells weird - to me it smells exactly like ground pepper... none of the shades have given me issues though as far as sensitivity.
Really take a look at the bare necessities against the blush crush and going coconuts. You’ll notice that those 9-pans are condensed versions of each side of the bigger palette.

I can’t stand those glitters either. And they’re not safe for use around the eyes- total waste!
Their eyeshadows technically aren't safe for the eye area either if it's pink or purple or orange or just any pressed pigments. Just fyi

I got the Garden Variety palette and I love it. No pressed glitters, shades are unique on the eye and perform well. I’m wearing it now.
Dream st was also my first color pop palette. I love Kathleen also. My daughter got me goin coconuts for Xmas and I was like thank u meh. But yes!! I love it!!!
The viseart paris edit is peachy. ( the $39 one ) it's gorgeous. The formula of the shadows are sublime! I think it's more of a Blush Crush vibe.
I remove all the glitters. When I see them , I just get stuck. Removing them is really helpful.

The bare necessities palette is my favorite colour pop palette. And up there with my fav all time for any palette.
I clean up the cardboard easily with a Q-tip soaked in Bioderma micellar water. I’d love to see you do a newly revised video on if you could design your own palette, which favorite specific colors you’d choose from other palettes you own ~ now that you’ve collected many more palettes over the last year 💕
Flutter by is nice but very very light. Only one pressed glitter. I think it's a beautiful, everyday wearable palette.
Rumor has it Colourpop is coming to Target...definitely dangerous, their palettes are better in person, if I saw more of them in store might make me buy more.
Ive gotten into singles more lately so I just got the She's A Rainbow palette, really loving it. So Jaded is on my wish list to get next

I own the bare necessities and so far I’ve really liked it! I’m more of a bold/purple tone kinda eye look gal just because I think color works better for my slightly hooded eyes and more yellow-tone light-medium skin tone, but pretty much every neutral in this palette works for me to create a solid, everyday, no fuss look. There are no pressed glitters, and the palette layout really suits being able to pick the tone you want for that look and rolling with it. I’m probably going to use it on one of my friends for her wedding look as well
When I started this video, I guessed Dream St would be #1!!! It is truly the perfect 12-pan palette. I own Bare Necessities, and there are no pressed glitters. It really is a good neutral palette: nothing too warm, nothing too cool. But I almost never reach for it. Other than the fact that I have a ridiculous number of eyeshadow palettes (can you see why I love your channel 😜) I don’t know why I don’t use it more. It’s lovely. When Boxycharm included a CP palette, I got an 8-pan palette called Semi Precious (I think). It’s all beautiful foiled shimmer shades, much creamier and more opaque than even CP’s regular formula. It’s discontinued, of course, and I don’t think it ever got much buzz, but I’m glad to own it! I think my #1 Colourpop palette would have to be So Jaded. I love the looks I get when I use it. I agree with you that I don’t reach for it often because I do have to make a plan for how I’m going to use it, but I don’t have a single other CP palette that makes me as happy as that one!
Yes you should get the flutter by palette. It is so pretty. I love butterflies couldnt resist. It only has one pressed glitter.

I remember that I really was hoping to get You Had Me At Hello in my Boxycharm, but I got Element of Surprise instead. So, I ordered YHMAH the very next week! I still wear my YHMAH because it really is so pretty with it’s mauve, berry, and taupe shades. I can’t remember the last time I wore EOS. I have so many of them, but I agree that Dream Street is the best one.

I keep it in my pro kit and use it on almost every bride/client. it is seriously the ultimate neutral lovers palette. so jaded is a close second... but honestly I have quite a few of their newer, smaller palettes coming in the mail so my favorites could very quickly change! love this video idea though, I'm going to have to add it to my list!

I have the Colourpop Flutter By palette and love it! There's just one pressed glitter in there (admittedly I've never used it). But the rest of the palette is stunning and has a great range of depth, so I can overlook it. I've seen the Making Mauves palette compared to it, and to me it seems like the mattes are very similar and it's the shimmers that differ between the two palettes. Making Mauves doesn't have a light enough shimmer for me, so Flutter By is definitely my taste.
I love going coconuts ! I have making mauve but it’s not my favorite . I want the garden variety definitely going to order that and the candy land one really has me interested, I loved candy land as a child. Thanks for the video as always it was great! It’s nice to listen to someone who loves makeup like I do , it’s hard to find people in real life who do! Lol! Family thinks I’m nuts lol

I knew it was going to be Dream Street. I decluttered mine, it's pretty but I wasn't using it. I think I used it twice the whole time I owned it. I wanted it to have a new home and be appreciated. The Owl palette looks so pretty, it was definitely underrated. Fun video.

Bare Necessities is a fantastic palette. You won’t regret it if you get it! The value is great. And no pressed glitter! I also have the Flutter By palette. It’s beautiful. 1 pressed glitter (which I haven’t used but it’s gorgeous)! You can get either a soft or smoky look with this palette. And the artistry of the packaging is really special. Hope you decide to pick them up. I’m bummed about the Night Owl palette. That would have been right up my alley!
I had only Yes Please and Whatever for the longest time. Recently I bought Wild Nothing and Garden Variety. Love them! Separately and paired together. I also bought Aura and Out. Seeing it on the eyes of Samantha March sold me instantly! It looks very summery, but since I match my eyelooks to my clothing, seasons don't matter. I passed on Candyland....I'm trying not to fall down the ColourPop rabbit hole! 😁
I already bought the garden variety and I LOVE it!!!! The packaging, the shades, all of it! Bare necessities is also amazing! It really is the perfect all in one neutral palette and no pressed glitter!
Check out the Making Mauves palette - I have a feeling it may give you what you were hoping for from the URAQT palette. The shimmers are STUNNING, and the matte/sequin shades won’t disappoint (especially since you love that one shade in the Blush Crush palette).
Flutterby is totally worth it despite the one pressed glitter, I love those very cool toned dusty purples, they’re very hard to find elsewhere.
Hi Mandy, Love your hair style today. I love Colourpop! I have the So Jaded, Going Coconuts, The Blush palette & The Flutterby palette. If I had to rank them I’d be 1) The Flutterby 2) The Blush palette 3) Going Coconuts 4) So Jaded. However, I love them all. I am a cool undertone, so if you notice, all of these palettes tend to be cool toned. In the Flutterby their is only one pressed glitter. 🥰🥰💜☀️💜☀️💜

Regarding the bare essentials palette, although beautiful, is not the most user friendly, given life, kids, etc...I am also in love with eyeshadow palettes, but there really isn’t a ton or a little that differentiates the selection of shades. Glitter.. mmm... never use it, so possibly overlooked. Anyway, keep being an awesome MOM, WIFE while being true to your own passions!! Much gratitude-

I only have one CP palette and it’s Dream Street. 😊 I do have some singles and love the formula. FYI on Bare Necessities - Makeup Just For Fun did an outstanding video showing how Bare Necessities basically “dupes” like 6 different CP palettes in one, Going Coconuts amongst them. Might be worth a watch - I bet you’ve got most of the shades already! 💜

The Garden Variety palette is on my wish list rn, along with the Making Mauves palette. If you want Flutter By but don't want the pressed glitter, you might want to check Making Mauves bcs they're both mauve-y palettes. Judy C has compared this two palettes on her channel if you want to check out the comparison. :) The Bare Necessities I'm sure it's stunning, but just like you said, if I want a neutral, fast, on-the-go look, I'll opt for a small palette. If you want an alternative, you might as well check Give it To Me Straight. :) Btw, Sweet Talk is on my top 5 Colourpop's palette! XD I also can't be bothered with pressed glitters, but I LOVE all the other 10 shades in there. :) Love watching your ranking! ^^

Also love love love the dream st palette. Mine is so dirty and used. 2 days ago I used it for a look and it can still makes me so so happy. Also love the making mauves and going coconuts. These are my top 3. The flutter by is amazing and you only have one pressed glitter, I can totally live with that ☺️

Agree with you on the Night Owl palette and especially the shade Bird Brain. There's really nothing else like it. I try to rotate between it, Going Coconuts, and Brown Sugar on days that I just want to throw something on and go.
Both of my favorites are discontinued. Dream street and Good Sport! I have pan in six shades in dream street and they might be the only pan in my collection. It’s perfect for every day!

The Bare Necessities is a nice neutral - no pressed glitters. I think the mattes are really good, some stunning shimmers (row 1 silk teddy is an an absolute winner), but 2 disappointing shades, the peach shimmers - row 2 and 3, the talk and designer duds - they are dry and don't build up well. There are 7 "sparkle mattes" too - I think those would have been better full matte, but still great quality shades :) Only Colourpop palette I own though, so I'm not sure how formula compares to other CP's. I like it but I don't love it - to be honest if I could swap it for Going Coconuts and Double Entendre I would, and I think you'd have 80% of the shades covered.
Some video ideas.... :) Palette Throwback - creating looks and remembering the palettes that got us into makeup (and collecting) in the first place. e.g. UD Naked, Comfortzone.... & Battle of the rose golds - we all need a good rose gold, but who has done it the best?

EDIT: forgot to mention - don't know if it is just mine but the Bare Necessities palette smells weird - to me it smells exactly like ground pepper... none of the shades have given me issues though as far as sensitivity.
I've never seen that Night owl palette 😂 and I stay up to date on Colourpop releases. Dang, definitely got lost in the shuffle
Really take a look at the bare necessities against the blush crush and going coconuts. You’ll notice that those 9-pans are condensed versions of each side of the bigger palette.
