Bought the nomad....depotted all but the two shades with glitter(✨ ugh 😑 loathe glitter),so I made my own autumn palette using the remaining shades mixed with a few Sydney Grace and MAC eyeshadows. Now I have the perfect fall “me” palette💗💗💗💗🍁🍁🍁🍁

What?!?you don’t have the Warrior 1 palette? I thought it was the most boring palette, but I promise you, it’s one of my favorite palette ever. It is incredible. One of their best formulated one. It looks boring, but I promise you, it’s not, I always get compliments when I wear it.

You have totally rekindled my love for Juvia’a Place. The Saharan palette was the first Juvia’s palette I ever bought, and I remember swatching those shimmers and my jaw just dropping. Now, so many JP palettes later, it still has the nostalgia that the Nubian 2 does for you-that first introduction to a brand that has blown me away every time. I agree with everything you say-the quality is good and consistent, but the color stories push me to be more creative without pushing too far. I would never have bought the Nomad without your raving review, and I’m so glad I did-you have really taught me how to use those khaki greens and yellows in ways I might not have tried before! I have the Nomad and Warrior 2 palettes. I actually love an all matte eye look. I want the taupes palette also. That green is so pretty in that Deuce palette

So when Juvias Place eyeshadows went on sale, again, this week at Ulta I went all the way back to this video to confirm how interesting this palette looked to me. I've had their palettes in my cart so many times and always decided not to purchase them. I picked up an online order from Ulta today. I got the Nomad, the Chocolates, and the Nudes. Couldn't wait to swatch the middle one in the Nomad palette, which is amazing - but the dark shimmer next to it? I've never seen anything like it. I'm shook 😃 I love all three palettes, autumn grunge - I'm here for it. I can't wait to wake up and do my makeup! Glam eyes on a Tuesday, nothing to see here people just me with some new eyeshadow!

Luckily, I have 7 palettes from Juvia's Place and those 3 are part of my collection... but what the heck, Juvia's - way to not even warn people!!!
I have tribe and magic and loveeee them. I think tribe is being discontinued... I am going to buy more once things get better. You might love to start with magic but in general their shadows are beautiful, tho i love their shimmmers so much more than the mattes.....their shimmers are AWESOME!❤️

I personally love to use the blue in the Saharan II in the outer corner and the green in the same palette on the inner corner (nothing else in the crease) the look is stunning.

Thanks for this. I am looking at the JP palettes at Black Friday sales, have the Taupes one, still deciding if I need more or not, but this is a helpful guide. I really enjoy the artwork on these palettes too, while they are all nice in that aspect, I give the top art prize to Nomad.
I have five JP eyeshadow palettes. I would try and rank them: 1. Saharan 2 (THE BEST SHIMMERS FEOM JUVIAS PLACE. Period) 2. Warrior 2 (THE MOST VERSATILE PALETTE; cool tones, warm tones, and green colorful options too; I love the fact that it is all matte, and I use this palette for my face makeup as well.) 3. The Zulu (THE BEST matte formula, so soft and creamy, and not sheer at all; I feel so so about the shimmers and a brown in there. It was also my first JP palette) 4. The Magic mini (I like the fact that there are so many beautiful shimmer shades, but I would love to have more matte options instead) 5. The Festival (the formula is just... sheer and feels more crumbly than the other palettes I own, but the colors are still bold and pretty) * first three palettes are my personal favorites and I like them all a lot, and I ranked them that way mostly based on how often I use them.
Yep, it’s decided, it’s done. When I get the tree baby neutral palettes they just released I’m also getting the Nomad. It’s not like I already have enough khakis and olives to be buried in them *points at Melt Gemini and Kaleidos Sci-Fi Green*
The Nomad, The Nubian 2, and The Warrior 2 are my top 3. The Warrior 2 pairs beautifully with the ND Safari palette. I still struggle a bit with The Saharan but I'm determined to love it eventually :)
I recently re-fell in love with my JP palettes. I only have a few along with 3 of the mini palettes. I’m definitely going to put if these on my list to purchase.

‼️The Tribe palette is cute but I skipped it for the➡️ Morphe Boss Mood⬅️ since I only paid a couple bucks more 🤑& get soooo many more shades with that Morphe palette & I DO not regret it... It has those exact shades PLUS🤩

I bought Nomad pallette because the colour story is very beautiful and unique. I even used your video,Mandy,for the looks to create,because this pallette looks so good on you. However on me it looks as if I've been hit in the eyes :((( I haven't been happy with the looks I created because they look as if my eyes are bruised ;((( I don't lose hope to like the looks,because when I look at this pallette - oh,my god,it's so beautiful! - I need to keep trying. And i'll definitely be trying more shadows by Juvias Place because they are amazing!

I got my Juvia’s eyeshadows thanks to you! I agree on everyhting you said about the Saharan II, I used that deep fuchsia shade as a bright pink in one colorful look I created. It’s just like beetroot, looks very dark but actually is bright fuchsia. I immediately guessed what that beautiful peach is on your eyelid! I think I want to use that shade today! ☺️ and I also knew what would be your #1 palette 😄
I also LOVE the Saharan II palette by Juvias place too! It was my first palette from them! I would recommend layering the light blue on top of that deeper blue as a lid shade. It makes it more mermaidy and less intense 👍
Fyi! I've been able to find most of the discontinued Juvia's Place palettes on Mercari!! (Along with other hard to find things!) Mercari is fantastic. 😁😍
I was so close to purchasing a couple Juvia’s Place palettes today because they had a $5 Friday deal but I have so many eyeshadow palettes in my collection I couldn’t bring myself to do it lol
I also have harsh features. If I contour and use dark colours I end up looking haughty so I can relate! I wish juvias place would come out with minis of all their palettes
I love these ranking videos! I picked up the Afrique palette yesterday during their sale since it was only $5, and would love to see a looks video. I’m definitely more of a natural girl and would appreciate some advice on how to use those bright colors. 🤩
Ranking my Juvias Place palettes best to worst: Nubian II, Tribe, Magic Mini The Saharan II, Afrique, The Douce, Nomad, The Violets, The Mauves, The Taupes I have found that Nubian II and Saharan II pair well. Saharan II really isn't a stand alone palette to me but the shade Nomad rocks my socks and it pairs nicely with Leyla. I think it would look nice with Egypt and Cleopatra too. I think Magic Mini and The Douce will pair well together. I picked up Nomad on your recommendation. I haven't played with it much at all other than to swatch around. Cutting Edge by Dose of Colors has got me eyeing Nomad with inspiration. I think Tribe and Juicy Olive by Give Me Glow will make really pretty combos with Nomad. I think Afrique performs well and I like it as sort of a rainbow palette for me but I'm not often super intrigued to grab it. This only ranks above Nomad because I've actually used it. The 6 pan palettes... I need to play more with these. I think the lack of inspo i feel with these is really my bad. I didn't wait for reviews on The Mauves and The Taupes so they weren't quite what i expected. The Mauves is more berry tone than I anticipated and The Taupes does not have much dimension. I don't think I'll be able to do much with this palette until my tan fades away. Even on me, a relatively light skin tone with a tan, this is unimpressive. A denser brush may help though. As for the Violets, the shimmers are beautiful but I feel like the two deep purple shimmers are a bit repetitive. I say that but I do think the top two shimmers and bottom two shimmers pair together especially well. So I feel like they don't both need to be there... but I get it? I didn't love the mattes but if I try a different brush and application method I may feel differently. I'm thinking the Violets may pair well with The Magic Mini.
In the meantime I own 4 JP palettes because RUclips and Mandy made me buy it😀... love them all. The Douce and the Coral were my summer favourites, the Nomad is waiting for the fall in Berlin
Juvia’s Place recently had an amazing sale. I bought the Nubian, Nubian 2, a loose highlighter, and 2 foundations stick for $24!! You can’t buy drugstore makeup that cheap! I was introduced to Juvia’s Place by the Allure beauty box. I got the mini Nubian and fell in love!
I recently got my first JP palette (The Saharan) for free during an Ulta sale and I was impressed. I do not use black shadows so I agree with you about that. I want to try another one of their palettes and I have my eye on the Nomad.
I have 7 now. I still want Saharan 2 and Wahala 1 and 2. After that I'm good. I don't have any of the minis but had the Chocolate just to give it away shortly after getting it. I wanted the Douce but it's discontinued and very hard to find on Mercari and when it is there it's expensive.
I bought two Juvia's palettes recently that I love and neither are in your collection! The Saharan and The Warrior are both fabulous for neutral lovers. The Warrior has beautiful honey-gold metallics.

It's like that video of what English sounds like to Italians....I was catching glimpses of some weird Scots-type of thing going on with your reverse English. 🤣 As for Juvia's Place, I have five of their palettes and the one I was most hesitant about - and feel like using the least - is the Magic Mini. I don't know...I feel like my enjoyment of color matches up well with your level of enjoyment of color but I think it's just because it hasn't gripped me the way some of my other palettes have. I do heartily agree with you that their palettes are so unique in their color stories. I don't have a desire for many of them, but I respect the color choices they use (I can't do really warm toned looks and I don't want a palette with a ton of dark shades because I have more than enough of those for my fair complexion). And I love the packaging too! Colorful, meaningful, not bulky, the magnets are really satisfying in the way they click shut (and stay shut)! So, so good.
Love Juvia's place palette are amazing. They do have great color stories and I love how inclusive they are. Definitely can be worn by any skin tone I feel. Love the newest palettes too. Great company for sure.

I only have 3, and my fav is def the nubian 2. If you have a warm skin tone, those shades make your eyes POP.

Their shimmers are the best! The mattes can be patchy. Whatever color story you feel will be best, the quality is consistent 😍

2. Warrior 2 (THE MOST VERSATILE PALETTE; cool tones, warm tones, and green colorful options too; I love the fact that it is all matte, and I use this palette for my face makeup as well.)
3. The Zulu (THE BEST matte formula, so soft and creamy, and not sheer at all; I feel so so about the shimmers and a brown in there. It was also my first JP palette)
4. The Magic mini (I like the fact that there are so many beautiful shimmer shades, but I would love to have more matte options instead)
5. The Festival (the formula is just... sheer and feels more crumbly than the other palettes I own, but the colors are still bold and pretty)
* first three palettes are my personal favorites and I like them all a lot, and I ranked them that way mostly based on how often I use them.

The Nomad, The Nubian 2, and The Warrior 2 are my top 3. The Warrior 2 pairs beautifully with the ND Safari palette. I still struggle a bit with The Saharan but I'm determined to love it eventually :)
Yes, the Nomad is fantastic! I love mixing the Nomad palette with the Safari Raine palette from Coloured Raine. They complement each other so well.
I recently re-fell in love with my JP palettes. I only have a few along with 3 of the mini palettes. I’m definitely going to put if these on my list to purchase.
Juvia’s Place knows her way around a beautiful chocolate brown and I LOVE them!! So her palettes get me every time.

I bought Nomad pallette because the colour story is very beautiful and unique. I even used your video,Mandy,for the looks to create,because this pallette looks so good on you. However on me it looks as if I've been hit in the eyes :((( I haven't been happy with the looks I created because they look as if my eyes are bruised ;((( I don't lose hope to like the looks,because when I look at this pallette - oh,my god,it's so beautiful! - I need to keep trying. And i'll definitely be trying more shadows by Juvias Place because they are amazing!

I got my Juvia’s eyeshadows thanks to you! I agree on everyhting you said about the Saharan II, I used that deep fuchsia shade as a bright pink in one colorful look I created. It’s just like beetroot, looks very dark but actually is bright fuchsia. I immediately guessed what that beautiful peach is on your eyelid! I think I want to use that shade today! ☺️ and I also knew what would be your #1 palette 😄
I also LOVE the Saharan II palette by Juvias place too! It was my first palette from them! I would recommend layering the light blue on top of that deeper blue as a lid shade. It makes it more mermaidy and less intense 👍

I love these ranking videos! I picked up the Afrique palette yesterday during their sale since it was only $5, and would love to see a looks video. I’m definitely more of a natural girl and would appreciate some advice on how to use those bright colors. 🤩
Ranking my Juvias Place palettes best to worst:
Nubian II, Tribe, Magic Mini
The Saharan II, Afrique, The Douce, Nomad, The Violets, The Mauves, The Taupes
I have found that Nubian II and Saharan II pair well. Saharan II really isn't a stand alone palette to me but the shade Nomad rocks my socks and it pairs nicely with Leyla. I think it would look nice with Egypt and Cleopatra too.
I think Magic Mini and The Douce will pair well together.
I picked up Nomad on your recommendation. I haven't played with it much at all other than to swatch around. Cutting Edge by Dose of Colors has got me eyeing Nomad with inspiration. I think Tribe and Juicy Olive by Give Me Glow will make really pretty combos with Nomad.
I think Afrique performs well and I like it as sort of a rainbow palette for me but I'm not often super intrigued to grab it. This only ranks above Nomad because I've actually used it.
The 6 pan palettes... I need to play more with these. I think the lack of inspo i feel with these is really my bad. I didn't wait for reviews on The Mauves and The Taupes so they weren't quite what i expected. The Mauves is more berry tone than I anticipated and The Taupes does not have much dimension. I don't think I'll be able to do much with this palette until my tan fades away. Even on me, a relatively light skin tone with a tan, this is unimpressive. A denser brush may help though.
As for the Violets, the shimmers are beautiful but I feel like the two deep purple shimmers are a bit repetitive. I say that but I do think the top two shimmers and bottom two shimmers pair together especially well. So I feel like they don't both need to be there... but I get it? I didn't love the mattes but if I try a different brush and application method I may feel differently. I'm thinking the Violets may pair well with The Magic Mini.
In the meantime I own 4 JP palettes because RUclips and Mandy made me buy it😀... love them all. The Douce and the Coral were my summer favourites, the Nomad is waiting for the fall in Berlin

I recently got my first JP palette (The Saharan) for free during an Ulta sale and I was impressed. I do not use black shadows so I agree with you about that. I want to try another one of their palettes and I have my eye on the Nomad.

I have 7 now. I still want Saharan 2 and Wahala 1 and 2. After that I'm good. I don't have any of the minis but had the Chocolate just to give it away shortly after getting it. I wanted the Douce but it's discontinued and very hard to find on Mercari and when it is there it's expensive.

I bought two Juvia's palettes recently that I love and neither are in your collection! The Saharan and The Warrior are both fabulous for neutral lovers. The Warrior has beautiful honey-gold metallics.

It's like that video of what English sounds like to Italians....I was catching glimpses of some weird Scots-type of thing going on with your reverse English. 🤣 As for Juvia's Place, I have five of their palettes and the one I was most hesitant about - and feel like using the least - is the Magic Mini. I don't know...I feel like my enjoyment of color matches up well with your level of enjoyment of color but I think it's just because it hasn't gripped me the way some of my other palettes have.
I do heartily agree with you that their palettes are so unique in their color stories. I don't have a desire for many of them, but I respect the color choices they use (I can't do really warm toned looks and I don't want a palette with a ton of dark shades because I have more than enough of those for my fair complexion). And I love the packaging too! Colorful, meaningful, not bulky, the magnets are really satisfying in the way they click shut (and stay shut)! So, so good.
