I have the retro glam and glam palette and have the mini bronze because I am a cool toned girl A few months ago I downsized my makeup collection and kept only my Natasha Denona palettes and my colour pop stone cold fox and my favorite tarte palette.
I love watching this video because all of my favorites were ranked at the bottom 😂 my glam palette is one of my least used but I love her bronze and pastel ❤ All her stuff is so good though I think really it just comes down to personal preferences of shades and tones you like :) ps one of the best combos is combining the shades from her bronze and retro berries!

That retro glam palette is growing on me. I kind of want it now. I really really want the Safari palette. I hope she brings it back for a limited run. I’d like an all cream to powder palette from her.
I am also light complected and blonde, and I am not ready to spend that much money on an eyeshadow palette, so I really really appreciate the way you went through everything so thoroughly. I will likely just pick up the altar ego versions, and if I really really love them, maybe I will get the real deal and pass the altar ego ones on to my granddaughters and niece.
I think the “expensive” term has been attached since the first ND palettes used to be $220+. Back when Tati used to recommend them (even though her audience was mainly drugstore fans). So they are still considered expensive even though they are on par with Huda and other brands at sephora.
@@someonesomewhere22 understand your point of view, but this palette is not in the price of $220, in fact, those big pallets containing 28 colors are already discontinued.

I think people think of the brand as “expensive” because of what I have mentioned. But for the quality of the eyeshadows I don’t think $4.6 per shadow is expensive when comparing that Hourglass charges $20 per shadow
I always get so happy when Midid Zendo gets some love! I feel like it always gets so much hate, and I love that one. I would say my most loved midis are retro & my dream. However, I don't have glam or yucca yet. I'm trying to decide which one I should pick up next. 🤔 As always... great video!!! ❤

I think a lot of the ND colors pulls a little yellow/orange on me, so while I thought the mini glam would be great, it looks a bit muddy against my quite pinkish skintone. But the mini retro, the 15 pan glam and the retro are gorgeous!
I have a couple of ND BABY palettes with three shades each; one is from the Glam palette, the other from the Retro. While you're wearing 7 different shades, I love that I can do a lasting but simple look with just two or three colors. ND truly is the best formula! Thanks Mandy!
I just got the ND Retro Glam palette in my Boxycharm/Ipsy box for June! It’s my first mid size ND palette! I can’t stop looking at it! The only Natasha palette I have is the retro one, which I love. After seeing the swatches and your eye look, along with your comments, I just might have to splurge on the My Dream one! I love ND palettes and have quite a few in my collection. That said, I would switch Glam for #1 and Retro Glam for #2. I get more use out of Glam, especially because the shades flatter my hazel brown eyes. Retro Glam is a fun palette to play with, however.
I love it! I have 3 mid sized and 5 of the minis. Such wonderful colors and quality. I’m a little late in finding her brand, especially at my age, but I’m glad I did. Thanks for sharing
The my dream palette is by far my favorite midi. And then for my next favorite…. It’s kind of a tie between zendo, bronze and retro. I keep changing my mind all the time between those three, and maybe it depends on the season. After that, number 5 would be the glam palette. I do really like her face and eye palettes too. But I need them both, light and dark, lol. I need a lighter transition shade from the light, the lightest shimmer, and the highlight from the light. And the blush and deep shades from the deep palette, and the inner lid shade from the deep palette is such a good shade!

I just am shocked you don’t have the big Biba palette! It looks boring but man is it amazing! A row of warmer tones a row of rosy tones a row of cooler you can’t mess it up! The metallic shade “Marilyn” is incredible. I bought this palette and it sat there as I was like this is underwhelming.. then I finally played with it and I literally cannot put it down!
I have been debating about getting the Retro Glam palette and now I am convinced. I haven’t bought an eyeshadow palette yet this year so I want it to be a good one. I love greens and don’t have anything similar in my collection. Now if I can just get a $100 Sephora gift card with my points, I will be set.
I need to use the my dream palette more. The retro palette is probably my favorite because I typically use berries as neutrals lol and if I need a subdued look I reach for it a lot. Plus the very white based pink is so different and the perfect shade for my fair cool skin to blend out with.
I have the Alter Ego Shadow Kiss palette that, I believe, dupes the ND Glam palette, and I love it! The formula is sooo soft and buttery. I don’t have the Glam palette but I can imagine those two are pretty much identical. I’ve seen videos of people saying the formulas are almost identical. I highly recommend Alter Ego! I’m going to get their MidSummer palette next. I have some Ulta points saved up and I can’t decide whether to buy ABH Cosmo or a ND Palette. 🫤🤷🏻♀️

I have 4 of the alter ego dupes for NA, including their dupe of the Metropolis, Gold, Retro and Sunrise and I’m happy with them. For a non lover of ND eyeshadows, I have 3 of them, being the Zendo my fav. I don’t like the price and the quality per se, but the color stories get me all the time. I want the new retro glam and her my dream and will get them and one day I will look the other way and get her Triochrome one, just because. That much for a palette is a sun!
I own too much makeup to judge you. The packaging on the minis break on me if I clean them so stopped buying from ND. Also tye shadows seem to dry out quickly. I haven't loved a color storu enough from the midis to buy one. I am hearing quite a bit about the glam palette. I thought for sure you had the biba mini on. The tones are similar. Have you tried Lorac's mini pro palettes? I have sparkling and simmering. Simmering is very similar to the mini nude palette. The champagne is fabulous too :) P.S: I think Lorac improved their formula since the days they were popular on on beauty tube. I was quite unimpressed a few years ago when I tried them.
The mini biba is my favorite mini, too. Hands down. For some reason I never loved mini nude. I need to use that one again, maybe I can start to like it.
I really think Natasha Denona paletts not cheap, but not very expensive, specially compering the quality and the amount you get for your money ( my Tom Ford quatro is more expensive than the ND mid palettes and the quality is not even close, good, but ...)

I didn't like that the pastel palette shadows didn't seem true to pan (some of them). It's very pretty and pastel lol but not a stand alone palette for me.
Unfortunately Natasha Denona palettes have all but left Sephora in Canada. There are a few midi & mini palettes left. To buy a midi palette from her web site now costs $113.00 CAD (including tax) + $27.67 duty for a total of $140.67. A mini palette from her website is $45.20 (including tax) + $9.20 duty for a total of $54.40. My Natasha Denona days are over :( Before she 'left' I bought a midi palette and I have 3 minis. But, there were a couple more I would have liked.
ND palettes are $110 American which is nearly $200 Australian... so out of my reach... I have bought the dupes from Ulta ego... only about $40 each. I've been told there nearly as good...waiting to see....
I really loved the circo loco the year I got it but I haven't used it since. I also have one of her big expensive palettes in the purple blue color way that I'm not impressed with. And my other one is metropolis I believe and I thought I'd use it more than I have.
I was so disappointed in the ZENDO palette. It was an impulse buy, without really thinking about the shades. In my opinion, every large pallet must include an inner corner and eyebrow ivory/Champagne/white matte. With Zendo, there isn’t any… There are multiple peach that could’ve easily has been one to complete the eye looks ..
If you must oil the Glam Palette try a facial oil/lotion/primer etc that would be safe if it got into the shadow rather then WD40 that could cause damage to the eye shadow and your eye.
This shadow fade on me, I don’t know if the minis are not as good as the larger ones, but based on the two minis I have I wouldn’t waste my money on them. I have the mini lila and the mini retro and colourpop last more on my eyes and I don’t have oily lids. I don’t get the ND hype.
Don't use WD it will smell too much. Use sewing machine oil that you can dropper onto the hinge directly by dripping it gently down a toothpick. Cheap as chips and no bad smell and will not leak into your palette if you are sparing.

I just caved an ordered the new Yucca palette. I picked up the love palette 50% off , I probably didn't like it enough at full price (I'd pick others over it) but couldn't go past it.
I've been building up a wee collection of ND this year. I have to say though. The shimmers make my eyes look very old and crepey and i dont have lots of wrinkles. Maybe they're just chunky glitters in them i dont know. Maybe it's my primer or I'm dehydrated? I use too faced shadow insurance. Been looking into viseart recently as they seem to have smoother shinmers. It's not easy finding that these days. X
I love the ND palettes, the only thing is that I just can’t feel comfortable with the retro glam, I don’t know if it’s my skin tone or what but I don’t feel it, all the looks I’ve tried are like meh to me, so sad 🥹

It is expensive for the palette, since each palette is just one shade range. Don’t normalise it please. This price shouldn’t be standard price !

I absolutely love my Glam palette. Got it a couple months ago. I make so many eye looks with it. It is a teacher. The Retroglam's greens are gorgeous

The mini biba is my favorite mini, too. Hands down. For some reason I never loved mini nude. I need to use that one again, maybe I can start to like it.
I really think Natasha Denona paletts not cheap, but not very expensive, specially compering the quality and the amount you get for your money ( my Tom Ford quatro is more expensive than the ND mid palettes and the quality is not even close, good, but ...)
I agree 100% about the Bronze palette! I always have to pull out another single shadow or palette for that champagne. Essential! I just used my Ulta points for the Yucca pallette. ❤❤ Loved ur intro. 😂 Thanks for doing a whole month of nothing new. 😁😁

I didn't like that the pastel palette shadows didn't seem true to pan (some of them). It's very pretty and pastel lol but not a stand alone palette for me.

Unfortunately Natasha Denona palettes have all but left Sephora in Canada. There are a few midi & mini palettes left. To buy a midi palette from her web site now costs $113.00 CAD (including tax) + $27.67 duty for a total of $140.67. A mini palette from her website is $45.20 (including tax) + $9.20 duty for a total of $54.40. My Natasha Denona days are over :( Before she 'left' I bought a midi palette and I have 3 minis. But, there were a couple more I would have liked.
ND palettes are $110 American which is nearly $200 Australian... so out of my reach... I have bought the dupes from Ulta ego... only about $40 each. I've been told there nearly as good...waiting to see....

I really loved the circo loco the year I got it but I haven't used it since. I also have one of her big expensive palettes in the purple blue color way that I'm not impressed with. And my other one is metropolis I believe and I thought I'd use it more than I have.
I was so disappointed in the ZENDO palette. It was an impulse buy, without really thinking about the shades.
In my opinion, every large pallet must include an inner corner and eyebrow ivory/Champagne/white matte.
With Zendo, there isn’t any… There are multiple peach that could’ve easily has been one to complete the eye looks ..
If you must oil the Glam Palette try a facial oil/lotion/primer etc that would be safe if it got into the shadow rather then WD40 that could cause damage to the eye shadow and your eye.
Try a lubricant like bike grease because WD40 isn't and it would be sticky. You can use an old brush to brush on the metal pieces~
This shadow fade on me, I don’t know if the minis are not as good as the larger ones, but based on the two minis I have I wouldn’t waste my money on them. I have the mini lila and the mini retro and colourpop last more on my eyes and I don’t have oily lids. I don’t get the ND hype.
Don't use WD it will smell too much. Use sewing machine oil that you can dropper onto the hinge directly by dripping it gently down a toothpick. Cheap as chips and no bad smell and will not leak into your palette if you are sparing.

I just caved an ordered the new Yucca palette. I picked up the love palette 50% off , I probably didn't like it enough at full price (I'd pick others over it) but couldn't go past it.
Still waiting for the retro glam dupe to come out.
I've been building up a wee collection of ND this year.
I have to say though.
The shimmers make my eyes look very old and crepey and i dont have lots of wrinkles.
Maybe they're just chunky glitters in them i dont know.
Maybe it's my primer or I'm dehydrated? I use too faced shadow insurance.
Been looking into viseart recently as they seem to have smoother shinmers.

If you’re going to lubricate the hinge on your palette - only use a silicone based lubricant, otherwise you will melt the plastic.
I love the ND palettes, the only thing is that I just can’t feel comfortable with the retro glam, I don’t know if it’s my skin tone or what but I don’t feel it, all the looks I’ve tried are like meh to me, so sad 🥹
I think I've only used the zendo palette a couple times. I think I struggled mixing the warm and cool tones together.
