What's really interesting about this is that it seems as if Harley is more so the one manipulating Joker and that's super intriguing.

I know people will say “oh it’s woke” but seriously guys compared to all the politically correct shit we’ve been getting in media nowadays, letting Harley Quinn the female of the duo be the manipulative person instead of Mr.J is hardly a big enough problem, we’ve always known her as the clown girl who gets used, dumped or betrayed by Joker every now and then, this change of dilemma make sense if the movies story and the character building is good, which so far I see very little chance that it wouldn’t be. If you call a new young female superhero swooping down to save justice league’s asses, I’ll probably admit that it’s woke too, but this movie is about two mentally insane person doing bad things and falling in love in an unhealthy way….just because the girl is manipulative doesn’t make it girl power, if anything it makes her a worse person.
Won’t lie this cooked harder than it needed. October 4th here we come.

Holy shit..the teaser alone gave me the chills, damn🃏 the way Arthur is laughing in the rain, hes actually crying. I bet that is the ending of the film and Harley died, Arthur's heart is broken... again. The trailer is brilliant. Another masterpiece 👍🏻🃏

Just like the first movie, everyone hated on this until the trailer came out and won people over
Wouldn’t be really sad if this Harley doesn’t even exist. Like, it’s basically just his imaginary girlfriend. That would make this joker feel even lonelier. It would definitely be a interesting idea considering a lot of people have taken this particular version of the Joker as a symbol of loneliness.

first joker is one of the best movies ive ever seen. So powerful, incredible acting, makes me feel bad and sympathise with the villain, it was the first time I ever saw the humanity in the joker character. SO SO SO GOOD. Especially that last Murray scene literally almost made me stand up
The musical setpieces look visually cool and vibrant
Joker was one of my favourite movies of all time. It felt like if A24 had made a comic book movie. Whilst the Batman is my favourite comic book movie as it perfectly blends the arthouse with the big budget action, joker definitely nails arthouse.
For sure definitely, but I'm still worried on the 200 budget. It's not even the first rodeo with Joaquin Phoenix, with beau is afraid who has a similar concept without the musical elements
I like the part where he's running away from himself. Like he's trying to get away from his sycophantic self, but it keeps catching up to him.

The 2 weakest Scorsese movies lol. Going from King of Comedy and Taxi Driver to those 2 is quite the decline. I hope Todd Phillips grew a pair and actually made something fully original

That would make sense being that New York, New York came directly after Taxi Driver and Taxi Driver, New York, New York,and The King of Comedy all have De Niro as the lead or co-lead.
@@15Candles Even Scorsese doesn’t like Shutter Island. Compared to Taxi Driver and King of Comedy they are weak but they’re still not bad movies at all.

This probably isn't for you. Last year Barbie made $1.3 billion, believe it or not that's the market WB is targeting. Already have friends who aren't comic book fans that are going gaga for this trailer. If 2023 showed us anything. DC fans aren't reliable for the box office.
Hard to say. I can easily see this movie getting around 800 million. A billion we'll have to wait and see.
After last year where many were saying the comic book sub-genre was past its sell by date it’s really refreshing that the two major comic book films this year are so distinctive from each-other. That’s what people want I think, the cinematic universe still has legs but people want good, memorable, individual films. Films that stand on their own two feet and feel like they were made by a person with a vision not an algorithm.
Honestly I think it’s really cool to have a completely new take on Harley instead of trying to copy either Margot Robbie or the version from the animated series. The fact that she’s just another Arkham inmate instead of a psychologist is really interesting because this version of Harley and Joker can be more of a toxic codependent couple where neither one is the clear victim instead of the usual one-sided abusive relationship.
She is still a psychologist in this version. At the end of the clip she's on the other side of the glass and earlier the bars of his cell. She uses music therapy to help inmates and sometimes dresses like an inmate to get closer to them.
The teaser was absolutely stunning! I loved the tone and the vibe of the whole thing. I wish we had gotten just a little more of a snippet of one of the musical numbers but the music for the trailer was perfect.

The original Joker is my favorite movie of ALL. TIME. And even I was really skeptical of how they would do a sequel. After this trailer though, I am completely hooked! Looks PHENOMENAL🔥🔥

This is what DC needs. Last year was a bloodbath both critically and comercially. This looks fresh, unique and will appeal to people outside of DC fandom. This movie seems geared for the Barbie crowd, not DC which is a good thing.

This is a film I’ve been very hesitant about since it was announced. The first movie was very good and I liked it but it was also a movie I didn’t find myself wanting to go back and watch. I will say they did a great job with this trailer to get me interested in seeing this on the big screen. Love it when a trailer does its job to create interest.

Honestly I’m mixed on this one. The visuals and cinematography look absolutely ELECTRIC, and that last little bit was great - but there’s something about the story here that’s just not grabbing me.
Maybe you need a second trailer. I wasn't 100 % on board with the first movie when the first trailer released but the 2nd got me really excited

@@gusterwarawara7305that’s where I failed to connect with the first movie, and this seems to be following in its footsteps (which is great for those that love it, the first was undeniably well made). I just feel like these two movies (at least from what’s been shown in this admittedly brief teaser) are basically just using the DC name to put out movies that otherwise wouldn’t be green lighted unless they had an IP behind them. Like as good as Joker was imagine how awesome it’d have been as a wholly original film.

Looks amazing, gave me a dark and twisted La La Land vibe. That shot at 1:58 is stunning. I really think this will be a hit with both critics and audience.

First Joker was epic and I didn’t think we needed the sequel. This trailer seems to confirm that feeling, I’ll be sitting this one out. Romantic musicals really ain’t for me so I’m just avoiding my own disappointment.

This trailer actually made me feel a lot better about the movie it seems like they’re going to use the musical aspects to contrast his grasp on reality. I also think Gaga fits in great. Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn would be a little cartoony for a movie like this and I think Gaga from American Horror story Hotel vide will fit perfect.

The Joker is my favorite villain of all time period. We can talk about whether a movie is perfect or not but I will defend that I think that was a PERFECT Joker movie. I would love for this to be a perfect Joker and Harley Quinn movie but at least I want it to be a good companion piece to the last one no pun intended. This trailer got me more hyped, the ending music to this trailer resembled the ending music to one of the first movies trailers. Was the first one to buy a imax ticket last time, will probably do the same.
This looks really cool I was late to the party with joker 1 long story short I was with my very strict Baptist parents turned 18 got kicked out became homeless and am now just moving into my first apartment so I didn’t see joker 1 until a few months ago when I was first homeless but as always Sean awesome video keep up the great work!!

I think the first film is great and Joaquin Phoenix is an incredible Joker, so I was definitely excited to see more of him, and I'm a HUGE fan of musicals and I think Joker and Harley are characters that would work incredibly well in a musical setting. I really enjoyed this trailer. It was dark, intense, and looks like it captures a similar vibe as the original and the idea of Joker and Harley entering a whirlwind romance in an insane asylum and singing crazy musical numbers to each other sounds like an absolute blast.
This blew my mind.
Not sure if you guys remember Fall Out Boys' song called "America's Suitehearts".
The music video was them being circus characters, and there's a guy who fell into a green goo which then turned him to a crazy clown type circus master. Then a girl watching him, who I guess kinda liked him, followed him to the circus and also fell into the goo.
They then became sort of partners, that were crazy together.
It's very simillar to a Joker and Harly Quinn love story. Coincidence??
And get this, the song "America's Suithearts" was from Fall Out Boy's album called FOLIE á DEUX... 😐 🤯

Like you everything I’ve heard about this movie has had me confused yet intrigued and after seeing this I’m definitely into it, even though I’m still not entirely sure what this’ll be lol
I really wish they kept Harley being his psychiatrist rather than a fellow inmate.
I feel like Harley's fall into madness, from a psychiatrist with a morbid fascination for her psychotic patient to a flat out psychopath in her own right, would have been so much more interesting in the context of this dark and brutal take on the villainous duo.
Lady gaga honestly looks amazing as Harley Quinn. Like way better than I thought she would

Ok. This trailer actually built up a bit of intrigue. I'm actually kind of surprised by this trailer
JOKER 3 PLOT:
After the events of joker 2 a few years have passed and things are worse than ever with crime running rampage with joker at the front of all. Gothams prodigal son returns to the city after a 7 year hiatus a glimmer of hope for better things to come but change takes time and promises feel broken. Meanwhile news reports of a vigilante start making headlines “is he cleaning up the city?” The joker becomes obsessed with this new figure and determined to meet him (this person stealing the spotlight from him) keeping with the musical themes. Joker gets desperate and his crimes more grand and spectacle like he’s putting on a performance in hopes that the Batman shows up(the great gatsby style). Until the Batman shows up when the joker takes over the capitol and they have a showdown in the middle of a court of jokers with Batman fighting off all of them at the same time.(either that or like a concert arena full of jokers almost like a final performance. The Batman in this movie is black and white he paints his whole face grey and instead of disguising his voice he just doesn’t speak no matter what happens he just remains silent until the very end when the joker is defeated and as a final request implores Batman to speak to tell him who he is he says “ I’m Batman” music to jokers ears. The end

I have my hesitations for this film, but I also have hope that this could be great. As a point of reference, I really love the first Joker, but there’s not much to go after that great first film. Still, there’s enough to have plenty of my attention.
Ahh,they take the musical therapy in Arkham then use Gotham as a stage for their own twisted musical interpretation. I love it!!!
I know the first one made crazy money as the first rated R billion dollar club. But costing 200 mil as a sequel is a bit risky
