Dr Pal, i stumbled upon your video on the circadian rhythm and the benefits of fasting about 3 months ago and i took it to heart. I started with 12 hour fasts and now i do 15 to 16 hour fasts. I also exercise lightly. I feel great and my weight has dropped from 82kg to 77kg. I encourage my family and friends here in Malaysia to watch your videos as it is easy to understand and follow. Thank you, Dr Pal.
Update to this: with 15, 16 hour fasts from 4pm combined with apple cider vinegar, MCT oil and 5km walks daily, my weight has further dropped to around 73.xx kg. I consider this my new lifestyle of healthy food choices, rather than a temporary diet.
I work as a nurse in UK in my 42yrs . People think I am in my late 20 yrs after Watching your viedeos I have lost 5 kgs. Thank you for the good health teaching .

You are so sweet Zarna. God bless you on your weight loss program. Both you and Dr are naturally so hilarious. If Dr could lose weight and keep it off so can you...I've been trying to lose weight too. The key is to not give up...after of course eating dinner early, no snacking at night and eating healthy raw veg salads with healthy homemade dressings.

Dr pal it is possible to maintain a lifestyle and not eat at night. After a while one doesnt feel like eating after sundown at all. And the hunger is bearable. Yesterday I ate late at night after a long time and woke up damn tired. Yesterday was the only cheat day I had. Talking about americans they eat early and sleep early during the week and only allow friday or Saturday as the fun day. Long term even that is bad, but certainly eating before sundown is the biggest blessing one can do to themselves.
Wellness counselors always say "you cant be it unless you see it"

My parents after 30 yr of their age, encountered patanjali & the baba ramdev's saga...good part came out to be the rule of eating dinner at 6 or 6.30 pm & exercising early morning , incorporating dalchini or green tea in their routine,now its been approx 15 yrs or more the habit is intact & we children also do it coz we've been made to do it, its good though.
This is an eye opener for me.. i have seen many videos but nothing hit me as much as you guys.. my problem is i come home at 5 and preparing dinner without rest is another job.. any tips how you guys are managing?

Interesting! Love this ! I just lost 40 lbs by cutting out 90%carbs ( and that too without much exercise !!) . But I am a night owl . You are right that the same food tastes better at nights!! I will try to stop eating at nights ! Can we move it to 9pm instead of 7 pm please please lol

Ah that point ! I am an Indian and working in UK hours which ends at 10 PM IST and post that we have dinner and another hour and two to bed … whole cycle is messed up and there are others who support US hours which ends at 2:30 PM IST.

I fast from 8 pm to next day 12 noon and I don’t gain any thing what ever I eat , but sometimes on Sundays when we have family dinner and cake and all the extra food I gain couple pound but I lose it in next day ! I don’t want to loose more anymore I am in my right weight , I kept my weight for 2 years 🤷🏼♀️

You know Zarna...stop taking obesity lightly...it's time to be scared...it's time to get ur health back...n u can do it...u r disciplined...u r sensible....u have three kids...set an example...start with cutting out carbs like wheat n rice....in India we eat millet dosas or cheelas..
Made of nachni, jowar, bajra...just make a pre mix of nachni, jowar and bajra and roasted rava( semolina,)...in the ratio of 2:2:1/4: 1....add ajwain to this pre mix..2 tbsps...and store in airtight container....just take 2 big spoons of this premix in a bowl...add salt...add enough water to make a very thin slurry, keep aside for ten minutes...heat a pan..pour a ladle of this millet slurry like a thin dosa or crepe..
Cook on both sides...eat with coconut chutney, mint chutney, etc...avoid adding oil vyl making...make it tasty by adding ginger- garlic- green chilly paste,onions, coriander leaves etc....start ur day with this " gaavan"....it's filling n u needn't worry about gaining weight....u can have it in place of roti to eat veggie sabjis

U spoke so correctly, night time it is a temptation to eat.
It is absolutely possible in every household. I am a cancer thriver and now eat between noon and 7 pm. My solution to this is to have meals ready ahead of time. This way I eat when I am ready and everyone in the home has the option. At the end of the day one lives with their choices. You cannot teach family, but you can lead by example.
