    Zoya gets A in most of the episodes she speaks sense and balances out. She never favours anyone and always is humble and weighs both pros and cons of issues. Brij is authentic but mostly favours father. Veer is a cute boy who doesn’t even want to participate in big people talks yet he feels responsible as a family member and respects his Bhaiya and Didi ❤
    Content relevance- yes ginger, lemon, fresh air, exercise and sleep help improve immune system to fight the disease. I agree most allopathy meds are symptom-based they help reduce the symptoms but don’t cure the disease mostly.

      i think Zoya tries to be so American and goes out of her way to portray that image. Brij is much more practical and honest, IMO, in what he says.

      @@cgordon1955 Seems you aren't from this side of the pond, Asia in general. Most countries outside Asia and Saudi/Islam following countries (essentially, white countries/people, so to speak) think this is way too much but it is how our families run. Asian families, African families, they all run on this overbearing individual in the family that fixes, as well as ruins things on the daily. It's just how it is. We live real so we are ready for the real world (as much as we hate it, it is true).

    My mother had her own old world remedies that could’ve been dangerous. She gave us each a tsp of castoria every spring and every fall. Vicks rubs for colds and camomile teas with lots of sugar for fevers. She raised 9 of us and we’re all still alive. Rarely, did she use baby aspirin as my father did not believe in those kinds of things for kids.

    All the way here in Scotland, mum and gran swear by:
    chesty cold = vicks & hot toddy [whisky,lemon,water,honey]
    tickly cough = sugar and vinegar
    Upset stomach = flat lemonade or irn bru
    Constipated = "eat" butter
    Hiccups = vinegar
    Overall diet = meat + 2veg
    Sleep = 2 hours before midnight more good than all the hours afterwards [ive not managed this]
    Mushrooms = nerve and brain health
    I agree with all your comments no to drugs,yes to fluffy socks and snuggled up under the duvet and jars of vicks everywhere.

    My grandmother used to keep a jar of herbs in a liquid called Florida Water. Whenever we had a fever she would wipe us down with that mixture, it was so refreshing and always broke the fever.

    Another thing I do is I peel ginger, slice it very very thin and put it in a jar of very light honey like acacia honey that’s grown in Europe like Hungary, As all the honey grown in America has glycosides unfortunately. I use this honey with the Ginger that really liquefies the honey, And it’s wonderful drizzled on fresh berries or any fruit, it’s also very good in tea and coffee do you wind up using it for many things it’s very helpful and also very delicious

    Loved the episode and I always sign up ahead of time to get notified, as an Indian mom of 2 adult daughters, this is the usual scene at my place, the only difference is that I feel they take it personal and not so light as zoya does, my girls will always say that it’s about you mum and they start to feel bad, I feel it’s cultural when mums bring their version in a situation and how they handled; doesn’t mean that we believe we are better than our kids, it’s just our perspective from our personal experience. Anyways I give shalabh and Zoya A on this episode for #1 shalabh being funny about the expensive jacket and Zoya as usual always makes that face when someone is being silly. Love zoya

I used some on my wrists just before watching this because I am pregnant and have pregnancy carpal tunnel and cant use medical creams due to the pregnancy. For colds I use it as wall as warm water with honey, lemon and ginger. I also think spicy soups help clear the passages and chili 🌶️ has a lot of vitamin c. If I feel well enough to make my own spicy soup, I will but if I am too sick I order pho 🍜 and add a lot of the jalapeño it comes with. All of you deserve an A grade. 😊

    I was born and raised in America. And I will tell you that Vic's truly is a good medicinal treatment. Whether you put it on your chest or some people actually put it inside their nose and also haughty with honey and lemon lots of honey. And lemon is good for your cyes. And yes, plenty of sleep and keeping warm and being relaxed and when none of that works. Go to the doctors and get him to give you. What is called AZ pack? Yes, it is an antibiotic, but it is fabulous. The 2nd day you take it. You already feel better, but that's only in extreme cases. I've had AZ pack many times in my long. It always made me better and very well also. Chicken soup with lots of herbs and spices and of course plenty of water. I love this video and it was funny very funny thanks guys

    For home remedies.. Zarna gets an A for sure 👍 Shalabh would too.. but he needs to remember the remedy first 😂 Other than that, Zoya and Brij did raise good points, but I would catgorise them more as good lifestyle choices than home remedies

    I am giving all of you "A's"! Zi love your honesty, your humor, and I think that you chose an excellent topic!
    I happen to agree about Oranges, lemons and Vitamin "C." I also agree about Vick's Vapor Rub, walking, sweating it out and green plants. However, I think that Tylenol is not as effective as Anvil ( or something related to Anvil.) I also think that Zarna's ginger, tumeric, part honey tea is excellent.
    Thanks for dissing the pharmaceutical companies, which oversell.
