Thank you for saying that “you could love your kids but not love the job of being a parent”. For the first time, somebody is gutsy enough to articulate what has been in my mind all these years. Because most people are afraid to say it and wont say it, you feel like you’re the only person feeling that way and it’s bad. It is reality, especially in parts of the world where hired help is not readily available. I love being called mommy and all the sweet things that come with it but it’s overwhelming a lot of times. It’s exhausting to raise little people and try to make sure they grow up to be good and productive citizens. It’s a huge undertaking. Just because we chose to have kids doesn’t mean we can’t talk about how difficult parenting is. It’s a fact of life. Thank you Zarna!
loved this!!! I spent several years traveling in India for my job and I love Indian moms and aunties -and trust me -my white, Polish mom would fit right in. At 90, she is still waiting to see if I am going to get a real job (and I have had a very successful career ).
Zarna is not only hilarious but also extremely knowledgeable and realistic , you are an inspiration to every women who thinks , having no friends is depressing because you prove that friends are friends but life is more valuable ❤❤
Zarna Is going to be beyond the Indian Oprah! You just watch she’s going to have a billionaire empire and I am so happy for her she’s a wonderful person with wonderful thought and going to do wonderful things everywhere she goes I make a ton of money doing it❤
Zarna is absolutely amazing; so smart, so articulate, such a great mind. When she talked about going out her mind being at home raising kids, I thought for sure she personally knows me. My husband (who traveled for work) and I raised 3 boys. We had no family to help us and, what I had pictured as being similar to situation comedies, turned out to be the total opposite; so difficult, so frustrating. I went back to teaching when my kids were 7, 4, 18 months. Best decision I ever made. Thank you, Zarna, for saying out loud everything I always felt. I'm a HUGE fan of her and her family. And thanks for the great interview.
The concept of love marriage is really interesting! I just take it for granted, since it’s so common where I’m from. Fascinating to hear perspectives from the “arranged world” 😊 Great interview! Hadn’t heard about Zarna before, thank you for introducing us to her :)
Just to start with Zarna has liberated all the stay at home moms! Suddenly she has proven to all of them that you don’t have to be 20 years old you don’t have to be like the Kardashians you don’t have to take your clothes off you don’t have to throw as much sex in as possible because it sells. Zarna has proven that being your authentic self is valuable and unique and has something to offer but isn’t like everything else, and because of this so many women who thought that their life was pretty much over, have renewed hope. Zarna is doing a wonderful service, and actually changing the focus from women having to show their bottoms to make money on all the media, To appreciating true brilliance and true beauty and the beauty of goodness and truth, good moral and spiritual values, and she makes it all visibly desirable❤ And yes the Indian culture is fabulous and everybody has a lot of helpful perspectives to learn from seeing this truly unstoppable great lady!!🌟
This was so amazing - i follow zarna on social media and i love her - i just discovered your RUclips channel through her -thank you for the lovely video -really enjoyed it literally rolling with laughter - regards fm South Africa
@@ZarnaGarg please have a show in London! There are many brown people here too! Infact from before even India’s independence in 1947! So much so we have an Indian Prime Minister at #10!! 😁
Zarna, you are real, authentic, intelligent and a smart business woman who is hilarious! You have also raised 3 very intelligent children. I love all ethnic humor! I laugh so hard because I can see the cross cultural parallels. I am also from a former British colony, Jamaica. You may see some parallels there to make fun. I hope your mother in law has a good sense of humor, if nothing else it's brininging in money...lol. Keep doing what your doing. An idea just popped into my head...How about having an iintetnational mmigrant mother's forum where you lead the discussion on parenting their children in the U.S. Ex. Indian, Mexican, Nigerian, Filipino, Korean, Middle Eastern. You will see lots of parallels as you discuss your challenges. I think it will end up being cathartic and supportive to you and others. The other piece is to have all of the children of each mother have a follow up on how they navigate 2 cultures. Woukd lovecto see that. It's never been done before.
I started my channel when my daughter asked me to write my recipes. I am quite lazy to do that so I said , I will start a channel with my recipes. I was on unemployed then so i started my channel. Did everything myself. You can see the changes from the beginning till now. If you set your mind on something, you can do it. ❤
@@ZarnaGarg You are doing well madam. Sometimes it's hard to decide whether a place has been made or a void has been filled. So applies to you in the comedy world. Best of luck!

I can say it's true - of course it takes a life time live a life time so it is still all rolling out. Be useful and you will grow from there.
oh you`re Americanized. In Austria we do use plastic dishes like Tupperware but we also use empty butter boxes, or ice cream boxes are great. And turn off the light when you`re not in the room. Energie is not free and not endlessly available!
Wow this show was truly amazing and light hearted. Had a laugh after such a long time and yes I was under a rock. Never knew about @Zarna before this show. Thanks for getting some great people out there on your show , Aarthi and Sriram and thanks for making my morning run really fun. I was beaming with a smile on my face for every second of this podcast (and many fellow runners/walkers were smiling back). I am usually that serious runner on a clock, monitoring my performance but today was different :)❤
My mother in law was an uneducated and ignorant person who was a professional chaos creator. She supported her lazy son to not support his own children ever.
American women, especially young women, "need" to do background checks. I did a background check on one guy I was dating, and he had 3 bankruptcies and wages garnished by the court. He thought I was going to support him. 😮
Why you have to make fun of your mother in law I mean I have two boys and now I am scared of my daughter in laws I mean she has two boys too Anyway making fun is ok but I am not that impressed with the going after your family member for popularity
The male person has a fake accent! But both women are just talking Normally. Just be what you are, and it is ok in the US! Otherwise you won't succeed in your podcast!
Getting older is realising that I am becoming the Indian Aunty and I’m loving it
Embrace it! Aunties make the world go around

Host needs to slow down his speech.
The podcasters are so lost that fake accent is so obvious
