Dude, that was SO fucking complex. His chord progressions evolved with such intricacy that he literally never wasted a chance to keep progressing.,. Or conversely, he never got stuck in a spot .
I'm 10 years late but here, he has a technique unique to his style with finger placements. Hard stretches too! I use to practice it by adding them whenever I was jamming or messing around on the guitar. They make sense now and most (must emphasise on the word most!) of Pierre's pieces are easy to flow through now!
Wow... I am so glad I found your music... Absolutely amazing player... I have spent the past few years really knuckling down on finger style... This excites me... Thanks
His voicing on the guitar has a very beautiful "French" inflection to it. A few years ago I heard an NPR piece on how classical music from different regions of the world is influenced by the verbal inflection of the local language. I think it is true here as well.
... but wait , that's not all you get !! Check out Antoine Dufour ( I recommend starting with " Ashes in the Sea", Michael Hedges ( try " ragamuffin" ) , Andy McKee ( definitely " drifting" ). All brilliant players who write some truly beautiful music.
Yes. In an interview with Justin Guitar, Pierre says that is where the main theme comes from! He says he listened to Bob Dylan a lot when he was younger and was 'surprised when he came knocking at his door' in this way. In the interview he demos how the theme is developed fromTTTAAC.
Sungha mainly got popular because he played relatively difficult pieces at a young age and does arrangements of popular songs, in terms of pure skill he's good but not "the best"
Isaiah Wijaya For he lacks a certain musicality. I lately stumbled upon his Autumn Leaves. I found if very mechanically played and too repetitive. This said... I can’t play what he plays.

Certainly one of the bests guitarists in the world.
Gorgeous.
My guitar hero at his best!! Thank you!
I’ve got to do some finger stretches to get this one down but I will.
I can't believe I only found out about this guy today. I'm glad I did though.
easily one of the greatest ever guitarists the world has seen. I wish i could play half as cleanly as him.

A true original, completely inspiring.
yea, one of the greatest living musicians
Love this song, every time I hear it, it stays in my head all day. I was going to try and find a tab for it, but after seeing him play it I think not.
The times they are a-changing.. :) Beautiful!
This is a great artist!

@LowdenFretter ..What a cool job you have!!! I want one of these guitars, badly!!!!!!!
I hear an echo of "the times they are a-chang'n in the melody..anyone else? Love Pierre's music!
This is actually the Dylan song that inspired him to write this song, The Alchemist. So we’ll heard :-)
Unless I am mistaken, Mr. Bensusan is aboard a Lowden guitar here.
[Tyneside, England.]

The main theme reminds me a little of "the times they are a'change'n" -- anyone else?

in a sea of modern day shit-music, a gem gleams among the waste
its a lowden
good and popular don't go together most of the time.
Sungha mainly got popular because he played relatively difficult pieces at a young age and does arrangements of popular songs, in terms of pure skill he's good but not "the best"
You got the point
Isaiah Wijaya For he lacks a certain musicality. I lately stumbled upon his Autumn Leaves. I found if very mechanically played and too repetitive. This said... I can’t play what he plays.
this guy is clearly stoned out of his mind and hes still a beast on the guitar
The only scarier than his shirt is his guitar playing.
Bensusan is always in DAGDAD, its nice but tends to sound too much like carpentry shows on PBS sunday mornings...at times
pretty
