    You can clearly see the difference in this Mike Tyson from the Mike Tyson who fought Holyfield, Lewis, Douglass, etc. I do believe this Mike Tyson would even beat ALI.

    • @30over3
      @30over3 8 лет назад +41

      Yes indeed. And it's here for all the haters to witness. A bit of proof that Mike wasn't just a slugger who waded in and swung for the fences. His delivery system consisted of speed, power and technique. He was a tactical master and a brawling technician who had a combination of speed, power, defense and chin that hasn't been seen before or since.

      Cujo Killjooh I completely agree, I wish we could've seen a 1988 Tyson vs Ali right before he got banned for 3 years

      Tyson my fav. Sometimes I do get tired of making excuses for him tho lol. What if Ali would have lost to Frazier, foreman, and norton people wouldn't be making excuses for him. He would have disappeared into history.

    • @peacebestill2810
      @peacebestill2810 6 лет назад +1

      Westside Woodledge Ali did lose to Frazier they rematch 2 times and Ali won both mike was not knocking Ali down for shore all those punches he took from shavers and shavers hit harder than Tyson he took hooks from joe Frazier that he said made him feel paralyses still never got knocked out the hooks and punches he took from joe is enough to put someone in the hopstial plus he wouldn’t be able to go the full 15 by the 7 or 8th he would have been burnt out

      I agree. He beats Ali, Louis, Foreman, Frazier, Holmes, Holyfield, Lewis, the Klits...everyone! At his best in 1988, many historians were claiming Tyson as the best of all time, not just at heavyweight but pound for pound in boxing's history. Nobody had ever seen such a specimen, a heavyweight with tremendous power but with the speed of a welterweight. Mike Tyson beat Mike Tyson. I'm just glad I was alive to see it for myself.

    • @Price70
      @Price70 5 лет назад

      @@30over3 He was 23 in his prime when he got dominated for 10 rds and KOd by Douglas. If 37-0 with 33 KOs at 23 years old isn't prime then what is?

    I absolutely LOVE this video.It`s my breakfast. In all of Tysons career i think the night he beat Spinks was the PINNACLE of his "primeness".That night no boxer in HISTORY could have taken Tyson.That night he was invincible to all boxers,past ,present AND future.

    • @MrPill0Ws
      @MrPill0Ws 9 лет назад +1

      +Exekution cro I mean he didn't have a spotless record but I am pretty sure nobody who beat Mike Tyson was 100% sure they were going to pull it out. Of his 50 wins on record, 44 were KO's. Iron Mike didn't just beat you, he beat the shit out of you. Even Buster Douglas, who was the first man to beat him, went down before coming out on top. WTF happened to this sport? I look at Tysons 37-0 fight and Mayweather Jr's 37-0 and Tyson was out for blood while Mayweather was doing laps around the ring and playing for points.

    @validcode, That's the reason it's important for boxers to stick with the fundamentals (hit and not get hit in return). Unfortunately, most boxers do not stick with the fundamentals and end up taking too many blows to the head. Floyd Mayweather and probably Sergio Martinez are among the few rare boxers that stick with the fundamentals.

  • @Orangewind
    @Orangewind 15 лет назад

    Considering he was 20 when he was Champion, and 22 when he completed the unification (with Spinks)...that's an achievement itself in the history of the sport. Most fighters don't tend to hit their prime until they are 25. Of course, Tyson threw it away by then but he did have an explosive entrance on to the scene.
    Another thing to look at was that the majority of the time he was smaller than his opponents.
