You can clearly see the difference in this Mike Tyson from the Mike Tyson who fought Holyfield, Lewis, Douglass, etc. I do believe this Mike Tyson would even beat ALI.
Yes indeed. And it's here for all the haters to witness. A bit of proof that Mike wasn't just a slugger who waded in and swung for the fences. His delivery system consisted of speed, power and technique. He was a tactical master and a brawling technician who had a combination of speed, power, defense and chin that hasn't been seen before or since.
Tyson my fav. Sometimes I do get tired of making excuses for him tho lol. What if Ali would have lost to Frazier, foreman, and norton people wouldn't be making excuses for him. He would have disappeared into history.
Westside Woodledge Ali did lose to Frazier they rematch 2 times and Ali won both mike was not knocking Ali down for shore all those punches he took from shavers and shavers hit harder than Tyson he took hooks from joe Frazier that he said made him feel paralyses still never got knocked out the hooks and punches he took from joe is enough to put someone in the hopstial plus he wouldn’t be able to go the full 15 by the 7 or 8th he would have been burnt out
Tyson in his prime fight with Tillis, and cant ko Tillis, Tillis was a shadow of Ali. Ali will can ko Tyson aftet 7-9 round, but tyson cant never ko Ali
I agree. He beats Ali, Louis, Foreman, Frazier, Holmes, Holyfield, Lewis, the Klits...everyone! At his best in 1988, many historians were claiming Tyson as the best of all time, not just at heavyweight but pound for pound in boxing's history. Nobody had ever seen such a specimen, a heavyweight with tremendous power but with the speed of a welterweight. Mike Tyson beat Mike Tyson. I'm just glad I was alive to see it for myself.
Credit to both fighters..1 for dishing out punishment like a champ and 1 for taking it like a man, cast iron chin, still didn't wanna give up at the end...real tough guy, good video and fight.
Even if you dont like mike tyson as a person, you have to respect his ferocity and intimidation, his flawless defence and sheer power. He was a legend.
I absolutely LOVE this video. It`s my breakfast. In all of Tysons career i think the night he beat Spinks was the PINNACLE of his "primeness".That night no boxer in HISTORY could have taken Tyson. That night he was invincible to all boxers, past ,present AND future.
+Exekution cro I mean he didn't have a spotless record but I am pretty sure nobody who beat Mike Tyson was 100% sure they were going to pull it out. Of his 50 wins on record, 44 were KO's. Iron Mike didn't just beat you, he beat the shit out of you. Even Buster Douglas, who was the first man to beat him, went down before coming out on top. WTF happened to this sport? I look at Tysons 37-0 fight and Mayweather Jr's 37-0 and Tyson was out for blood while Mayweather was doing laps around the ring and playing for points.
ExeKuTioN Cro its boxing, if you want to see bloodlusted people i suggest you to watch MMA and if you already watch it then stick to it you half-assed moron.Floyd Mayweather deserves every bit of his boxing carrier achievements.
it's 2011 and we are still watching mike tyson fights. he might not have been the greatest (to me he was) but his fights were most fun to watch. he was just incredible.
+Heer Ollie I agree. Lennox wouldn't know how to deal with this offensive explosion. Best thing for him to do is stink it out by holding on for dear life.
Heer Ollie it's pretty clear, meanwhile Lennox is was putting in months of training, was determined and scared, while Tyson wasn't training, didn't care, and was battling a cocaine addiction. That was the only time that big pussy Lewis had the balls to fight him.
This man couldnt half take one hell of a beating. I mean he got full-on punched by mike a number of times, and body shots, and still carried on fighting. Not many people could do that vs a prime mike tyson so gotta say fair play to him
It seemed like he was unimpressed with his own performance by allowing Ribalta to last until the 10th round. At the 3:02 mark you can see Mike giving his manager Jim Jacobs a look that he couldn't believe Ribalta took all those shots.
We will never see someone like mike tyson again that guy was on another level. I seen him fight tyrell Biggs when I was a kid and just the presence of mike tyson crushed you back thenZ
The difference between athletes and champion is that everyone wants the same thing, but CHAMPION has POWER, PERFORMANCE, PRECISION, PASSION, do not hesitate to reach for DECISION OF COMPETITION, knows well what is there no fear ... only an intensification of the senses - Mike Tyson Champion
This is the Tyson we once knew...shame he is gone(Boxing), wish him a nice life. As for Ribalta...he was an amazing boxer with alot of heart...you could see him forcing himself to stand up from the knockdowns every single time..he had the little extra that told him to get up and try his hardest. Magnificent boxer's and a magnificent fight.
What a badass physique,500 closegrip single bar dips,300 pull ups,400 tiger bend push ups and 300 front squats with a 220lbs heavybag and 2000 sit ups a day,all done within an hour, with a diet 0f 4000 kcals a day, this is what a badass fighter does for his stamina in the ring.He hit 300lb heavybags and made them look like speedbags lol,no wonder below 300 lbs men would get tossed around like a fucking rag doll. ALL HAIL MIKE TYSON.
@validcode, That's the reason it's important for boxers to stick with the fundamentals (hit and not get hit in return). Unfortunately, most boxers do not stick with the fundamentals and end up taking too many blows to the head. Floyd Mayweather and probably Sergio Martinez are among the few rare boxers that stick with the fundamentals.
Considering he was 20 when he was Champion, and 22 when he completed the unification (with Spinks)...that's an achievement itself in the history of the sport. Most fighters don't tend to hit their prime until they are 25. Of course, Tyson threw it away by then but he did have an explosive entrance on to the scene. Another thing to look at was that the majority of the time he was smaller than his opponents.
i couldnt deside which is more impressive a) tyson's power and speed b) toughness of jose's chin and pain tolerance his body COME ON MAN 10 FREAKING ROUNDS !!
Appreciating the effort of tyson and skill aiming for perfection those days bringing how his skill allowed him to string off combinations.. Short guys before and after tyson in the heavyweight division take a punishment before they get their shots off especially if they try in the same manner of early tyson
The shy sensitive boy who could play a Tiger. The heavyweight who could move like a lightweight. The youngest ever, now aiming to be the oldest ever. The story continues as long as life does.
He fights without emotion, feelings or any trace of empathy. He works on pure instinct and machine-like power. He's like a wild dog, fighting for his life.
The stare down looks like two serial killers are about to clash. Ribalta looks like he's about to kill someone where Tyson looks like he just came back from killing someone.
in this fight mike is punchin by the side of the body ma coach says you cant punch on the side is this true somone answer please cos i like mike tyson fighting style
God I love watching all the matches of Mike Tyson, especially when he was in his prime. Simply devastating.
My idol,my inspiration, MIKE TYSON and ribalta put up a hell of a fight too
You can clearly see the difference in this Mike Tyson from the Mike Tyson who fought Holyfield, Lewis, Douglass, etc. I do believe this Mike Tyson would even beat ALI.

Cujo Killjooh I completely agree, I wish we could've seen a 1988 Tyson vs Ali right before he got banned for 3 years
Tyson my fav. Sometimes I do get tired of making excuses for him tho lol. What if Ali would have lost to Frazier, foreman, and norton people wouldn't be making excuses for him. He would have disappeared into history.

tyson in his prime could beat any boxer till the end of time
mike v falsr
Not foreman
Not Ali

@@30over3 He was 23 in his prime when he got dominated for 10 rds and KOd by Douglas. If 37-0 with 33 KOs at 23 years old isn't prime then what is?
Credit to both fighters..1 for dishing out punishment like a champ and 1 for taking it like a man, cast iron chin, still didn't wanna give up at the end...real tough guy, good video and fight.
Even if you dont like mike tyson as a person, you have to respect his ferocity and intimidation, his flawless defence and sheer power. He was a legend.
Boxing just isnt like this anymore.
Gotta give Ribalta credit for fighting Mike this way and providing us with so much highlight worthy footage in a single night.
Man, Jose took some serious hits. Props to him.
What's a prop
Imagienwhat would 've happned if the refree let him fight until the split dicition.
I absolutely LOVE this video. It`s my breakfast. In all of Tysons career i think the night he beat Spinks was the PINNACLE of his "primeness".That night no boxer in HISTORY could have taken Tyson. That night he was invincible to all boxers, past ,present AND future.
1:38 There will never be anyone on this level again.
Tyson was just a machine that destroyed anything that cam ein front of him.

he was just incredible.
Same here im watching iron mike since then
Props to Ribalta for enduring those punches, and the ref for not stopping it early.
In fact the refree should have never stopped the fight.
I don't care what anyone says, any man who stood toe to toe with Tyson in his prime deserves respect.
mike was unbelivable. credit to jose ribalta as well for lasting so long
this mike tyson would have destroyed lennox lewis
+Heer Ollie I agree. Lennox wouldn't know how to deal with this offensive explosion. Best thing for him to do is stink it out by holding on for dear life.
easy!:)
and Evander Holyfield and Buster Duglas! The 1987 Mike Tyson would destroyed every Boxer in any Era!
it!s a shame that this never happend! mike was soo talented but he has relatively little done from this! Sorry for my shit English!
Heer Ollie it's pretty clear, meanwhile Lennox is was putting in months of training, was determined and scared, while Tyson wasn't training, didn't care, and was battling a cocaine addiction. That was the only time that big pussy Lewis had the balls to fight him.
The best performance in Tyson's entire career but even greater respect for Ribalta who went to open war with Mike
This man couldnt half take one hell of a beating. I mean he got full-on punched by mike a number of times, and body shots, and still carried on fighting. Not many people could do that vs a prime mike tyson so gotta say fair play to him
probably took years off his life
@@raysprint4923 lmao true
Most Aggressive ever!!! Never seen one like him until now. A Beast really!! Wow!
This is one bad ass!!! highlight...
they say tyson fought bums, but look at ribalta's chin and stamina
the guy was tough as fuck
Yeah you are right but he can't fight.
Respect for jose ribalta he survived 10 rounds vs beast tyson
He was too confident😂😂😂
the song goes together really well with the video!
damn i started boxin since 2 years because of the videos of Mike Tyson thank you ..
That uppercut was deadly
Man..no words to describe the fierce awesomenessssss of Tyson brrrrrrrrrr!!!
Thanks for making this vid bro, much appreciated
You the best there is no one can take your place in boxing history that's we call you legend 👑👑👑
2:54 Haha tysons face is like......." is that all hes got? "
It seemed like he was unimpressed with his own performance by allowing Ribalta to last until the 10th round. At the 3:02 mark you can see Mike giving his manager Jim Jacobs a look that he couldn't believe Ribalta took all those shots.
1:31 Despite his defensive skills........walks in a straight line with glove down............no fear.
Cool. It’s always great to see Tyson when he had proper training and was a focused fighter
god damn, hes punching so hard nits ridiculous, and that right to the body, hook, hook combo was probably the fastest and hardest combo i've ever seen
We will never see someone like mike tyson again that guy was on another level. I seen him fight tyrell Biggs when I was a kid and just the presence of mike tyson crushed you back thenZ
great video...you are the only person on youtube I subscribe too. Keep them coming!
Thanks!
Is it me or do the fighters in the 80s looked hungry and more vicious then what they are today
This is the greatest
That's my main man.Awesome vid man of the best prime fighter ever!!!
He basically had Ali's speed, Marciano's strength and Liston's intimidation
The guy has a great heart to survive all those rounds!
Jose has some real heart getting back up and lasting that long.
The difference between athletes and champion is that everyone wants the same thing, but CHAMPION has POWER, PERFORMANCE, PRECISION, PASSION, do not hesitate to reach for DECISION OF COMPETITION, knows well what is there no fear ... only an intensification of the senses - Mike Tyson Champion
legend
I wanna see a pic of Ribalta after the fight.
That was great. He was so impressive. And after all those punches,he wasnt even winded.Wow!!
IMO goat in prime and don't even argue with me
Overrated
R3D 3Y3
He was great but he had the good fortune of facing tomato cans and retired old men.
i love mike's fighting style. he was a fucking beast.
This guy who against tyson is awesomer men he never gave up
This is IRON Mike Tyson not the one after the prison.
dang tyson coming out like a beast!!!!!!!!!
19-20 year old mike is the baddest man to ever walk the earth
How in the world did Ribalta last so long?
What a badass physique,500 closegrip single bar dips,300 pull ups,400 tiger bend push ups and 300 front squats with a 220lbs heavybag and 2000 sit ups a day,all done within an hour, with a diet 0f 4000 kcals a day, this is what a badass fighter does for his stamina in the ring.He hit 300lb heavybags and made them look like speedbags lol,no wonder below 300 lbs men would get tossed around like a fucking rag doll. Impossible to do all this within an hour ?
Nep Tis Gymnasts do that within 30 minutes as a cardio warm up,some do it with a 60 lbs weight vest.
TheAlexmercer360 Where did you see/hear that Mike did that??
TCVids Steven lott.
What that hell are you talking about.Mike didn't lift weight's at all until late late into his carrer
Jose can take a punch for sure 😮
awesome
i love the end were mike tyson seem to be very unhappy, as if he wanted hurt the guy even more. baddest man on the planet for sure
Man Ribalta was really a tough guy
He was hit by Tyson in his PRIME!!!
And took it like a champion, not many boxers managed to do that...
Tyson in his prime was not do defeat!!
he is the best and most agressive boxer ever!!

Great vid !!!!
I miss Tyson
I heard of a granite chin. Ribalta had a steel wrapped in granite, covered in concrete, laced with tarmac chin.
before his first time in prison, that young Tyson was unbeatable
i argree with u the film is awesome
You're right ! Changed that in the info, thanks
This is the real IRON MIKE TYSON.
tyson looks the same at the end of the fight as he did at the start... he is a beast
He fights without emotion, feelings or any trace of empathy. He works on pure instinct and machine-like power. He's like a wild dog, fighting for his life.
love the music
absolutely argreed
The stare down looks like two serial killers are about to clash. Ribalta looks like he's about to kill someone where Tyson looks like he just came back from killing someone.
Saw the same thing on a crocop vs w.silva video
+Nep Tis What, my post? Yeah they stole it from me. I posted this exact quote on this exact video about 6 years ago. It's all good!!
Cujo Killjooh best stare down in MMA. Boxing is full of so many great stare downs.
You're correct. Have you seen Leonard-Benitez? The stare down was an actual event! Check out Hearns-Benitez also.
Wish we could hear the sound of the fights!
this is very rare quality of the fight any idea where i can get this kind of quality from?
What a killing machine
name of the song: brainbug-nightmare
damn this music goes with the video damn so dope
I respect for ribelta.... He have strong chin
in this fight mike is punchin by the side of the body ma coach says you cant punch on the side is this true somone answer please cos i like mike tyson fighting style

Tf is this music, had me turning up in my bed dancing
2:54 Tysons face said, this wasn't a formidable foe. He looks dissatisfied. 😂
u can punch on the side of the rib cage. those ones really knock the air out of the lungs and also hurts like hell. liver punch
TYSON HITTING THE JAW...IS WHAT I WATCH FOR...
thius is when boxing was fun and worth watching. now its just a hugging game.
that right hook to the body then right uppercut to the head is fucking deadly man!
what happened to the tough guy with the nasty stares?
this was around 1986 i believe
Jesus, im shocked Ribalta didnt die.
awesome video.
happy birdays
Just a walk in the park
lands strong accurate punches even when looking at the ground.
nice
nice
It lasted 10 rounds ...why u praising him
Whats the name of the little song what starts @ 3:20?
Your right only a half ounce of blow would keep the light on after multiple cannons like that
