Footwork and head movement are the most important corner stones of boxing in my opinion. Mike had the best in the business in his prime and got little credit. Everyone gave credit to his power, youth, and challenges across the ring as his keys to success. He was beating ppl while he was under age because of real trainers that kept him focus. He faded only after Cus death, marriage to Robin Gibbons, and management later with Don King. Overall he grew too quickly and destroyed himself as Larry Holmes predicted. I will remain a fan regardless of his skill and talents. A Lion in the ring IRON MIKE.

Taller boxers have a major weakness up close from shorter fighters and Mike is most devastating on the inside.

      @@arians5293 yes, im serious.
I also believe that your statement is the regurgitation of a few popular naysayers. You dont seem to be a student of the game.
Under Cus D'amato's tutelage, Mike Tyson's run was short, but in his time, Mike Tyson was the best heavyweight ever as evidenced by the fact that he became the YOUNGEST heavyweight world champion in history.
At one time, Mike Tyson was impossibly hard to hit, posessed unmatched speed, and hit dudes so sharply that they could not stay on thier feet.
Its not Mike Tyson's fault if YOU believe that other fighters werent good enough.
The beauty of a "top heavyweights ever" list is that fighters of different eras will NEVER fight one another. Anyone can say anything and we'll never truly know.
      So, relax bruv.
      Im right. Youre wrong.
Okay, i just threw that last part in there for sensationalism. But really though... in his prime, Tyson was the best heavyweight ever.

@@skunk12 I find it difficult to agree with what you're saying. For me, Tyson could never be the "Greatest" because he never beat anyone of a high enough calibre. Although he possessed, tremendous punching power, speed and head movement, I don't think that elevates him to GOAT status. For me, he was like Ronaldinho, Great to watch in his prime, but his prime was only short-lived.
But I respect your opinion lad and you've produced a better argument as to why Tyson was the greatest then most delusional Tyson fans.

even watching Tyson's training videos make's you so motivated.. his training videos are equally or more amazing than watching his fight.. i think he never gets time to demonstrate all his training skills on opponents as they don't stand longer with this guy.. Holyfield and lenox net him long after his prime maybe 7 year's after.. which is very evident on those fight's and Tyson too was messed up ... if people are still talking about and excited about this Guy then it means he was gifted with unmatched talent..
