    Looking at Muhammad Ali, doing his thing, it boggles the mind, it defies logic, it blows you away, the fact that this incredible athlete, was blessed with so much skill, speed, rhythm, grace, easy, effortless movement, timing, courage, stamina, will power, an indomitable spirit to hurdle any obstacle he faces. • @lambokiller99
      @lambokiller99 6 лет назад +24

      Mike Weise first of all, if ali was fighting today, he'd be around 6 foot 6 inches tall because of the natural progression of nutrition, so I doubt he'd have ANY problems with todays heavyweights. Second of all, Ali fought in an era when conditioning and stamina was much better than it is now, fighters regularly used to bang for 15 rounds while nowadays the super heavyweights become tired after 2 rounds and can't carry around all of their extra weight around the ring anymore. Ali would've danced around them, moving in and out for 5 rounds until he's ready to come in and finish them off, these guys are easy work for him.

    • @lambokiller99
      @lambokiller99 6 лет назад

      Mike Weise yes, there's a natural physical evolution of athletes and normal people alike, the average height of each population increases each year, back when alot of the older fighters like sonny liston were growing up, people were struggling to get their macros on a daily basis, nutrition and health changes that. If Ali was to fight today, he'd be Atleast an inch and a half taller and 5-10 pounds heavier with the same style. If you took Anthony Joshua into the 60s, do you really think he'd grow up to be 198cm? I highly doubt it.

Want to know how great Ali was? Here's who some of his sparring partners were- Jimmy Ellis, Amos "Big Train" Lincoln, Ron Lyle, Al "Blue" Lewis, Joe Bugner, Larry Holmes- and Tim Witherspoon. Ellis, Holmes and Witherspoon became heavyweight champions.

    i like when you see a fighter with solid legs. Most seem to fall into that too skinny category

    • @sneesus98
      @sneesus98 6 лет назад +7

      Phaulty yep. But it seems them very explosive guys always have skinny legs. Like the hunters in Africa I reckon it would be hard chase fast animals for miles with big thick legs
