    • @folksurvival
      @folksurvival 2 года назад

      @@seablock "Born and raised in England."
      What difference does that make? You think anyone born in England is English? By that logic white English people that were born in India during the British Raj are Indians. If Nigel Benn had been born and raised in Japan he wouldn't be Japanese, or even Asian, he would still be an African man (and that's ok). A person doesn't magically transform into something else based on the piece of land their mother happens to be on when she gives birth. Biology and nature simply doesn't work that way.
      "I can assure you he's 100% British."
      That's a silly thing to lie about.
      "Being British or African is a nationality, not an ethnicity."
      No it isn't (not in the modern usage of the word). Also Africa is a continent, not a country.
      "Learn the difference."
      You need to take your own advice.

    • @seablock
      @seablock 2 года назад

      @@folksurvival Haha. You clearly struggle with the difference between ethnicity and nationality. Every white Brit in the UK isn't the same ethnicity as each other either.
      Being born and raised in another country makes you from that country. You don't need to be of the same ethnicity. Pretty simple really. No one would call a white person born and raised in Japan "Asian". That has to do with your ethnicity. Not your country of birth.
      You're the one who called him "African". In order to give the exact country his family came from, you'd have to know which country they came from. To reach again by pointing this out even though you were the one to use the term "African" in the first place, clearly shows how out of your depth you actually are.
      Scottish and English people are both British. But are they of the same ethnicity? To claim it's a lie (It's not) that Benn is British is too stupid for words.

    • @folksurvival
      @folksurvival 2 года назад

      @@seablock
      "Haha. You clearly struggle with the difference between ethnicity and nationality."
      Projection.
      "Every white Brit in the UK isn't the same ethnicity as each other either."
      I never claimed they are.
      "You're the one who called him "African"."
      Because he is, obviously.
      "In order to give the exact country his family came from, you'd have to know which country they came from."
      Correct and that country would not be one that is on the British Isles or anywhere on the continent of Europe. Also you admit they came from somewhere else.
      "To reach again by pointing this out even though you were the one to use the term "African" in the first place, clearly shows how out of your depth you actually are. "
      You're being dishonest again.
      "Scottish and English people are both British. But are they of the same ethnicity?"
      Some are, some aren't
      "To claim it's a lie (It's not) that Benn is British is too stupid for words"
      Nope, it's just a fact. Having a piece of paper that grants citizenship to the imaginary modern political state of "Great Britain" or of the "United Kingdom", under current law, is not the same as _being_ British. You probably don't even know where the names Britain, England, Scotland etc come from.

    This is training and fitness preparation for real fighters!. In a 12-round professional boxing match, no UFC fighter would endure 6 rounds of pure striking! that's why I venerate the noble art so much!
