I would really love to see this with resin. I think resin would flow better and take the "fluid" shapes more easily, and with UV resin you wouldn't have the trouble of drying/setting time. Love the content!

For the debate at 25:49 - the nail polish is dry, but it has to be gel/other type of "sticky" nail polish for the powder to stick to it. Like if you run your finger on the nail's surface, it has to feel clean, dry, but a lil bit plastic-like sticky, so the surface doesn't just allow the powder to slide off.

Idk if this is the case, but from what i know, shimmer pigments and color shifting pigments show up best in a spotlight or sunlight. I think maybe because youre both diluting the color in the mixture and trying to observe it under diffused filming lights, the duopigments dont show up as well. In powder form, its so concentrated you would see it in most lightings, but when mixed in and diluted, it probably doesnt show up as well unless under color favorable lights. It may partially also be why you could see it better when shining the flashlight over the canvas
For the future you could definitely try bringing it out into the sun or using a phone flashlight to observe the colors before adding more pigment c: love yall keep up the good work

OSHA recommendations for Alumina powders like those glitters is 10mg/cubic meter constant, over an 8 hour span... so maybe if they blew an entire canister into the air and kept it airborne and sat in there breathing it for 8 hours straight, THEN they might be worried about hitting a limit... but they are coming nowhere near ANY of those thresholds, either in volume or breathing in suspended glitter... so maybe ratchet down the panic a little bit... not to mention they are not doing this every day or even every week. Maybe if they were snorting it out of the bottle or sucking in a big gasp from a cloud of glitter... but otherwise? Maybe this type of crafting is not for everyone.

This could be a game changer in making ground textures for modeling terrain

The editing on this is just too funny. 😂 "It's just vibes, man." 🌸🍃I love hippy Evan. 😁 Also this made me want ferrofluid and some magnets way too much! Now I have to convince my goblin brain that I don't need another nerd toy, damn it.

5:40 Katelyn said it looks like a meteor hit the ground, i wonder if this could be a cool diorama technique and make an actual meteor hit diorama with that technique lol
I wish i could @ some of my favorite diorama channels lol

I would love to see you guys try this with resin and see what happens. Imagine bottom lighting from underneath.

That would be fun to mix the iron filings into pour paint and do random texture in an acrylic pour.

I love that the final product looks like copper with varying degrees of rust :)

oh, the magnetic field really do be just curvin out the sides like in the drawings, neat. I've only ever seen people use stuff like those magnetic field viewing lenses from the front.

I swear you guys should open an art gallery so we can see thee in person. Like the things you make that you aren't going to sell.

I’d be interested to see how it ages like if the iron dust rusts and makes some cell like rust spots especially on the bluish teal colors. That could look pretty cool.

It would be really pretty to paint flower petals then use the magnetic paint for a 3d center. I may need to try this one day 😊

    This colors remind me of
    Gryffindor (rot)
    Slytherin (grün)
    Hufflepuff (gelb)
    Ravenclaw (blau)
    ❤ so cool, love it.

I would've liked to see the magnet used above the canvas. For example if you nailed the canvas down, then the paint and use a smaller magnet maybe 🤷🏽‍♀️ idk I just wanted to see it the entire time 😂 I did like how they turned out at the end. Just food for thought 😊

Perhaps something like a flour duster/sifter would be helpful for evenly sprinkling the powder pigments.
