  • I basically meant this to be the perfect playthrough on the hardest difficulty. This is on Extreme, but as long as you don't pause (which I don't) and never reload (which I also don't, except to save, quit and reload to deal with a bug), then Extreme is actually more difficult than Survival.
    I finish the playthrough with all upgrades by day 28, which is quite a bit faster than any of the other Extreme/Survival playthroughs I've seen on RUclips.
    The key points are unlocking the Labor laws on day 6 and the Engineer laws on day 10. Unlocking the Labor Laws allows you to use Two Shifts, which is a massive increase in productivity, especially for your technology progression. The other key is getting your motivation high and keeping it high, which is mostly done by using Pleasure House and Hearty Meals.
    Just for the fun of it I also did No Censorship and No Stealing, so no tricking the guys at the storehouse or taking the forgotten supplies. They're really not needed anyway.

    Great work man. Seeing this a year later is a great treat. Hope you're well and look forward to seeing FP2 content in the future!

    I like this strat i will be giving it a go as ive been trying to beat it on extreme but one thing that ive carried over from normal difficulty i noticed you dont even do is using the profiles manufacturer as your wood bank i saw you build suppy storage and thought it was maybe for food but dam wood i couldnt believe it

      Huh. Never thought of that lol. I mean, I only use a few of them for lumber, so it's not a big deal. And at that point in the game I'm pretty hyper-focused on finishing the shaft to unlock engineering laws. But if I have the extra workers to gather the wood then I suppose I could just switch some of them to the profiles manufacturer instead. It would save 80 wood, and there is a point or two where I almost run out, so that would be nice. Yeah, making structural profiles instead of wood storage probably would be a slight efficiency gain.
      The most important thing is rushing the profiles manufacture and building 3, since that triggers the event that unlocks the Two Shifts law at 22:27.

    Man its aswome how u min/max everything, i've never thought about removing the starting streets for the extra wood. or how u dont click a bubble to delay the timer on the quest. wp :D
    Edit: Question why do u keep so many homeless people at 50:00 when u had so much wood?

      Glad you enjoyed it. It's so I get the request to make housing, which boosts motivation when it's fulfilled.

      @@anshelmswift235 Makes sense, since the weather is good being homeless doesnt increase the chances of them getting sick probably. Thnks 😀

    Do you think it's possible to complete this mission without using foragers?

    • @anshelmswift235
      @anshelmswift235  Год назад

      Probably not. Or at least it would be much more difficult. Even if you're able to deal with the food situation using the fishing harbour, you'd be missing out on a lot of resources and workers from exploring the other abandoned generator sites.
