I chose the lotus on account of two things. When she was natah she was just a weapon, Margulies was never her identity. But the lotus is an identity she chose herself, the person she wanted to be.
I chose the lotus as she says when you pick it "the system needs strength and healing in equal measure" my tenno is dead straight neutral balancing emotion and logic. it kinda makes sense for the lotus/natah/margulis balancing strength and healing she is the mother after all.
I went with the Lotus. But I did not go for her because of familiarity, nor because of some idea of "that's who she is". No, I went with Lotus because of what she said before. "Their are voices, I am not one." Natah was who she was raised to be, and Margulis was who she was programmed to be. While both are not exactly...who she is. That doesn't exactly make them any less a force in her mind. Natah, Lotus, and Margulis all exist together in her head. Each having a voice, each having wants and needs. However Natah and Margulis are on opposite sides. Natah favors power, Margulis favors healing. Natah favors Decisive strikes, and Margulis gentle compassion. If you are to pick one of the two, the other voice would be forever trapped in a body they had no control over. Forced to just watch in pained silence as the other went about making decisions they never agreed too. That weren't who they are. This would be catastrophic for her mental health in the long term. The lotus however is a balance between the two. She is capable of wielding both power and compassion, both healing and decisiveness. However she also would filter out the extremes of both, never letting one side go too far. the voices of neither Margulis nor Natah would never be truly free, but they would be heard and their feelings validated. If not pleased, then at least appeased. And besides, both Natah and Margulis are also parts of her past, parts of her history. To shut them out like that is to deny learning from that history...to deny the lessons it teaches you. The lotus is the voice best equipped to use that history for the betterment of herself and those she speaks for. And at the end of the day. Picking Natah or Margulis would lead to one voice denying, but being outvoted one to two. But with Lotus, all 3 would be heard, and all 3 would agree to let her lead them. So yeah. For Lotus's mental health and so she stands the best chance of becoming even better. I pick the Lotus voice.

I chose Margulis too. For a couple of reasons. First one being that Margulis was who the Tenno considered their protector and Their mother. Second one being I thought it felt right. She had been both the Lotus and Natah but Margulis hadn't had that prominance. Third, She died for her children I thought it a fitting end to this whole arc that she return to them... Just my feeling no right or wrong answers here.
I chose Margulis also and it was pretty much for the same reason that you stated here. I wanted to give Margulis her turn to care for her Tenno children as Lotus and Natah had, in their respective capacities. I thought it was a fitting end to her story arc and a way to give her the chance to finish what she started. I also thought it was very beautifully poignant that we carried her to her chair just like she carried us to our link after we woke from the Second Dream.
The Lotus, she was never who she seemed to be. An imitation of a dead woman who came to destroy us under her disguise, yet ended up loving us and shielding us from harm. Ballas did his best to turn her into his perfect vision of Margulis, further destroying whatever semblance of self she had left. When Natah resurfaced she was manipulated callously by Ballas, Hunhow and Erra, out of narcissism, love and disbelief each. That just hurt her more and made her already fragile psyche even more brittle.
After Everything was done, she was none of those things. She wasn't the kind woman that nurtured us despite having blinded her, and that chose us over her lover. She wasn't the enigmatic caretaker and leader of the most powerful force of good the Origin System had available, and she wasn't the Sentient agent bent on crushing the worst threat to her species that ended up with a change of heart. And yet, she was indeed all of the above. Wether she comes to heal, fight or mediate, there is no doubt that she is capable of all three, despite not being Margulis, Natah or the Lotus. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When I found out that the Lotus was impersonating a dead woman I couldn't help but think it was a wrong stance to keep. Margulis was dead, and there is no need to keep the charade, specially after all the deeds she accomplished as the Lotus. All it felt like was as if she was manipulating most of the Tenno based on their dependance to their surrogate mother. But it could be understood why she did; the Tenno would be suspicious, any other form would have not allowed them to trust as readily as that of Margulis, wether by fondness of her memory or the hope she was still with them, and time would have just made that facade more permanent, a familiar view. It's specially important that it could provide some form of comfort to the newly awakening Tenno during the recent conflicts. It can be understood, but it still felt wrong. Her reveal as Natah did not change much except augment my gratitude to her for staying with us, despite having to oppose her species, her family. It also brought me worry, for her connection to the Sentients could put her under risks that we could not protect her from, no matter how much power I had, no matter the amount of Warframes we held, and no matter how big our Alliances were. A worry that gripped fiercely during our encounters with Hunhow, yet, we surmounted him, and my heart rested easy on the relief, on the hope, that we managed the impossible. And then Ballas destroyed any hope I had left. As I laid in the aftermath of the Lotus' betrayal, left only with her mask and the painful hologram Ordis, in his well-meaning intention, provided for us. The revelations kept coming up and all I could feel was a creeping coldness, gripping me from my insides. Was she really brainwashed by the Orokin? Did we force Natah upon the role of the Lotus? Was everything a lie, fabricated upon an unwilling being, destined to hate us and attempt to destroy us? The cold then became something else. With the pass of the years I and my fellow Tenno accomplished astounding things. We fought the coming attacks of the Sentient, all the while mantaining our work in the Origin System and the Plains of Eidolon. We managed to come into contact with Vox Solaris and put a huge resistance to the Corpus. We came upon weapons of the Old War in Deimos and repursed them for the coming war. We faced the Kuva Liches, we recovered the Railjacks, we found Parvos Granum and opposed his Sisters. We came into an understanding with Umbra and hurt Ballas. The chineras were fought, the Infested were repelled and the Glassmaker was imprisoned in his own Ironic hell.
I found out that we could continue just fine, if not better, without the Lotus. And that coldness just went numb and dissapeared. Only certainty of what was our foe remained. But that certanty was easily shattered, replaced with doubts and confusion.
Despite her claims during the fight against the Ropalolyst, the Warframe that we recovered from it's remains seemed to imply that she was helping us still, even though she profeseed her enmity to us just a few minutes earlier. Ballas status being revealed to be nothing but a sham, showing that Erra considered him a peer, all the while Natah seemed to suffer under both of their grips. And that insidious message during the Orphix Venom, "I AM DYING".
It slowly became clear that even as Natah she was being hurt nad manipulated by others.
Many Tenno showed fanaticism towards making her our caretaker again, by force if needed it be, and the revelations only reinforced their views. And many other viewed her as someone suffering that needed rescue on behalf of everything she did for us, even if she did not take her role again at our side. And many simply wanted thed debt clear, and go back to fighting, wether she was an enemy again or not. After everything that was the New War, the knowledge being laid bare and the understanding of her relationship to Ballas, Hunhow and Erra, I had to think. To come to terms that whatever tired being was sitting in that chair was no one I thought I knew, yet at the same time is one of the few people I know deeply. I couldn't face her as the Lotus. The Lotus was nothing more than a lie, built in the name of need and pargmatism, an undead manequinn. An indiferent mask hiding the truth under a disguise and beautiful words. Natah seemed like the obvious choice, but she wasn't Natah. Her experiences shaped her into something different, and thee manipulations she suffered destroyed whatever was supposed to be her true personality. And the Betrayal was still raw, despite all the years and events. I couldn't that face, the one of an enemy whose psyche was brutally flayed. But Margulis? She was someone that she never was. Not what she became either. Margulis was a new face, despite her resemblance to that of a dead woman. There was no hidden purpose, no enemy to face, no secret to conceal. We all came to accept that whatever she was, she was never Margulis. Not even Ballas managed to make her his ideal Margulis, or even the dead one. So I nudged her towards Margulis. as close as a new slate that she could choose. No need to revive something dead while reaching inside the chaos inside herself, an action that could hurt her far more than it already did. No need to continue the charade in the shadows, to continue a fight as if no truths were revealed and no change occurred to her children. The System may need healing, but none other more than her.
I wanted to kill her and have hunhow as the guide before this update or like a new cephalon or something, but I’m fine with this outcome, when I played through the quest it was just hard hitting especially that one Scene with erra. It makes you sympathetic towards the sentients
Went Natah. Margulis is someone she never was, and that Ballas wanted her to be. As for the Lotus, its unclear how much of it was in fact Orokin influence imposed on her in order to make her closer to Margulis. Natah is her true, original identity. It doesnt prevent here from caring for tenno of she chooses, and this allows her to still be a sentient leader, which may be valuable post war. Its also what Unhow wanted for her: for her to be free once more.
I do agree with most of the points except in the case of hunhow (due to the fact that he seems like the kind of father who would accept the choices of their child. baring foolish insanity like in eras case)

the reason I chose Lotus was that line in the Natah quest, that for some reason, always stuck with me, "Natah was the daughter until I destroyed her. Now I am the Lotus. Now I am the Mother".
I went with Lotus, though I was torn with Natah. Natah was who she once was. But Lotus is who she chose to be. While I felt for Natah, I believed choosing her would give up on who she had made herself into along the way. Margilus wasn't a choice, since she was never her to begin with.
I had the EXCACT thinking about this!!! i chose Lotus too for this particular reason, Margulis is just a dead person, Natah is a past self and Lotus is the person that she chose to become and help us!!!
I chose Natah because the fact she became the lotus to begin with is proof that natah isn’t evil, she’s not just a weapon and it felt right that she reinvent herself how she began.
When she said “Let me go, child...let me go” I knew that lotus and natah are the same person. She’s not Marghulis, she will never be Marghulis. Ballas did that, but something about the Tenno made her decide to become the lotus to begin with. Natah and Lotus are one in the same. She doesn’t have to be the Lotus to learn how to love. She was just a soldier

Chosen Margulis, so that I can dance on Ballas's grave telling him that she's here and he can't have her anyway And also because, Natah was her previous state, something she left behind, and that someone imposed her to return to. Lotus was a lie as well, something unstable between Natah and Margulis, her own identity that cannot live a correct balance among the two, pushing her to either help, or fight us. Margulis is what Ballas wanted, and what has been ripped away from the Tenno, turning them against the Orokin. But probably is also who Lotus tried to be for us. Either of the choices can be right and wrong to me, it really felt like an important decision.
I think this goes to show how people are able to handle either moving forward with the story or staying in the past. I saw many people who chose drifter also chose Natah or Lotus, showing they are ready to go on. I chose operator and margulis because of how long I’ve been playing the game and not wanting to let go of the past experiences I’ve cultivated with these characters. Damn good quest, and eventually I’ll change Margulis to Lotus and Operator to Drifter, but I’ll wait until the Duviri Paradox before I worry about moving on 👍
As someone who went Drifter/Natah… yeah that sounds about right XD I’m glad we can still customise her, I’ll deffo be rotating between natah, eidolon and radiant lotus. Really interested to see what larger impact that choice will have in the future!
@@Renpolio You can swap by customizing the characters in the menu of the operator and by touching the helmet in our orbiter. But our choice may be permanent when it comes to the next quest and use our choices from The New War as placeholders. Who knows 🤷♂️
Well, I choose Margulis because now that Ballas died, she is finally free. Choose Operator because he needed to settle the score when he was saved by Margulis, or Lotus.
She can choose form what she want so i took lotus, and it is what she actually wants its our mother she never wanted to leave just look back a bit. Natah and margulis is what she WAS. So as the quote say: Dream of not what you are but who you want to be. Natah wanted to be lotus and she was protecting us from the start
But it's not. You missed the entire point. Natah was a sentient mimic designed to infiltrate the Orokin. Natah failed was captured by ballas and he tried to turn her into a facsimile of Margulis who died essentially in defiance of him, who died for the tenno she loved so dearly. This Gestalt fusion of Margulis and Natah became the Lotus. But unfortunately we can never be sure if the lotus' actions were truly her own or if Natahs lingering yearning to be a mother or the echo of Margulis that Ballas placed in her mind was what drove her. Perhaps both, perhaps neither. THIS choice is her finally choosing for herself. And what she's choosing is who leads. Because she's not just Natah or Margulis or Lotus now she's all three. There is no correct or incorrect answer here.

I chose Margulis because, as Natah she was used by her family as a weapon, as Lotus we were never sure if was her real choice to protect the tenno or just orokin influence, but as Margulis, she CHOSE to love the tenno, even she didnt have to, being a spy and all. Some may argue that Margulis was just a persona idolised by Ballas but on the final fight HE quoted that Margulis "negleted" him because of Tenno. No matter what kind of mind manipulation you bring, you cannot fake the love of a mother.

You choose which one has priority over the rest. So if you chose Margulis, her personality is the one she exhibits. The thing is she is all 3 but not 1, she just takes priority in one and exhibits the traits of that 1.

It's really cool picture of each choice. She never was a real Margulis, that's why it's kinda a lie and dark side. Her true self was Natah so bright side even if she was supposed to be a weapon. And then we got Lotus, the created mother for the tenno, the neutrality between those 2.
White represents emotion, impulsiveness, strength, and force. Yin. Black represents logic, coldness, gentleness, and passiveness. Yang. The middle is balance. The devs confirmed neither is good or bad.
Picked Margolis because i knew if i was given a "kill" option for lotus/natah i was going to pick it as to let the past go and basically setting her free Only problem with this is, i have to deal with the solaris again because streamer mode was rhe only thing hiding them, plz i want them to get the mute ordis treatment they are too freaky

Okay, the Lotus choice is important, but even more important, why do so many players kept this hairstyle for the drifter? As soon as I got to the camp I spent like 15 minutes to change their looks before going on with the New War😅
I chose Drifter because of course I did! I was hoping for his gameplay style, but oh well. And I chose Margulis because pretty face. I am a simple man with simple needs. Had I known you can change the appearance later (for a whopping 165 plat!) I would of gone for Lotus, simply because of my middle-ground streak up until now.
There's no Eternalist reality in the planes of existence where I would pick Margulis. By doing so, it means I would be giving in to Ballas' twisted views and his insane obsession with resurrecting his dead wife, THAT HE EXECUTED WITH THE OTHER SEVEN, through a woman from another race who has nothing to do with her. Natah was the right choice for me, it's who she really is, she no longer needs to hide her identity with a familiar mask.
I went with natah, as brutal as sentients are, it was her true form. They have their own family. Lotus is something she became, who she wanted to be. Margulis is also a good choice to give comfort to the children of zariman. I chose natah because it was who she originally was. What her mission begain with. And in the end she choose another way... This quest is amazing
Not gonna lie, this choice is the longest I felt undecisive in Warframe. Before, I just chose a bunch of neutral options (because I like playing a neutral character), but here... I couldn't bring myself to choose, especially as tears fell from my eyes. I chose Natah in the end, she was Natah before becoming Margulis, before becoming the Lotus, I just felt it was appropiate for her to embrace her Sentient origins, even if her objective was to destroy the Tenno. I think what I love is that neither are bad choices, we all have a different view of this choice and that's what I love about it. Natah, Lotus, Margulis, this woman is all three for different reasons.
I love how this scene is a role reversal from the second dream. It feels like we’ve come full circle with Lotus and I love it. Also, I chose lotus because it’s a balance between the opposing psyches of Margulis and Natah

Shes not. The original was executed when she refused to go along with the plan to use the tenno into weapons with the warframe project. Margulis is remembered by the Tenno for carrying for them when they were still recovering from the trauma aboard the Ten-zero. A happy memory in a sea of pain.
Does your chose here affect her comm messages? I chose Lotus because the other two options felt like her past with those tied to it either gone or waning. For better or for worse the Lotus was her present self and how we knew her. Still Margulius was a compelling choice.
It does, whatever you choose that will be the picture shown of her talking to you. Thats why it makes sense some people got natah with lotus voice before new war came out. It was a hint
As of now, not that much aside from the hologram being replaced by who you chose. That and the other Lotus' skins can be brought by 200 something platinum (yes, DE charging for space mom costumes, what a shock).
I chose Natah. For that is what she was named. She no longer needs to hide who she is. She doesn't need to pretend to be the person she was mimicking. She doesn't have to be a mysterious benefactor. She can just be... herself. Without a mask.
She is the lotus, again not doing it out of familiarity but because she helped us find ourselves and she needs to be herself as well, she's not Margulis and definitely not Natah, she wants to be Lotus, she is Lotus
Natah was a weapon to be used by her father, Margulis was a false identity exploited by Ballas, and The Lotus is who she chose to be to protect the Tenno. The moment she became The Lotus was the moment she embraced her own agency in the world, and started making her own decisions.

Chose Natah being her true self is what should truly matter and she should not need to make an effort to be someone else for us. The sentients may be a brutal race but were not following the same path that Ballus was going for. Makes me think if perhaps the Tenno and the sentients may learn to work together for perhaps an even greater threat that’s has yet to arrive or be known about.. I mean jeez if we were able to bargain with Hunhow and fight by Erra’s side realising that Ballus is doing this all for his own gain I’m sure that’s evidence in its self that the 2 can work together. Still I can not wait to see what DE has in store post new war with what I’m assuming now next to be is the origin of the drifter and getting a better understanding how he/she managed to survive within the void by not accepting the man in the walls offer as well as finding out getting down to who truly is the man in the wall and why is it so Interested In us and why did it offer us such strong power… only time will tell
lotus was the right one for me because she abandon her mission as a sentient and become a mother figure to the tenno and she also not margulis anymore cause the memory was not her to begin with, it was just a part of a person who is no longer exist. Lotus is right in the middle of all this, she was born from this two personality. No, the personality was not from the helmet she wore all the time, it was her genuinely. Ordis only use her personality projection when she left us and figure out what would she say to the tenno if they ever need her. The helmet was there to upload margulis memories only and so ballas can keep an eyes on her, when she was release by ballas, so does to the binding.
I wanted margulis bc of the looks. She honestly looks better without the mask. But I promised to bring LOTUS back. Not Natah. Not Margulis. Lotus. Our mother.

But, before the new war, I got a glimpse of what it would be if I did chose Natah, one random transmission with her face... And that made my heart tremble.
When The New War came and I got to this cutscene, I actually legitimately cried. I had waited 3 long years to get her back after The Sacrifice. No one had any idea how happy I was when I got to this point. I actually wanted to hug her right then and there. 🥲 But when the choice came to choose who she'd be, I was a bit hesitant. Margulis was the Orokin identity that was bestowed upon her, while Natah was her Sentient heritage. It felt like I would be robbing her of herself all over again if I had to pick one or the other. In the end, I had originally picked her Lotus identity. I thought at first it was so I could maintain the true neutrality I have kept for so long. But now I see there was more to it than that. The Lotus is a symbol of balance and harmony. She _is_ both Margulis and Natah, but that doesn't mean she has to be one or the other. She can be whoever she wants. And The Lotus is who she chose to be. To put it in her own words: "Dream not of what you are, but who you want to be." These are the words that I shall forever live by, as do many others. This was the choice I made. And I wouldn't have it any other way. 🥲

I chose Margulis too. For a couple of reasons. First one being that Margulis was who the Tenno considered their protector and Their mother. Second one being I thought it felt right. She had been both the Lotus and Natah but Margulis hadn't had that prominance. Third, She died for her children I thought it a fitting end to this whole arc that she return to them... Just my feeling no right or wrong answers here.
I chose Margulis also and it was pretty much for the same reason that you stated here. I wanted to give Margulis her turn to care for her Tenno children as Lotus and Natah had, in their respective capacities. I thought it was a fitting end to her story arc and a way to give her the chance to finish what she started. I also thought it was very beautifully poignant that we carried her to her chair just like she carried us to our link after we woke from the Second Dream.

The Lotus, she was never who she seemed to be. An imitation of a dead woman who came to destroy us under her disguise, yet ended up loving us and shielding us from harm. Ballas did his best to turn her into his perfect vision of Margulis, further destroying whatever semblance of self she had left. When Natah resurfaced she was manipulated callously by Ballas, Hunhow and Erra, out of narcissism, love and disbelief each. That just hurt her more and made her already fragile psyche even more brittle.
After Everything was done, she was none of those things. She wasn't the kind woman that nurtured us despite having blinded her, and that chose us over her lover. She wasn't the enigmatic caretaker and leader of the most powerful force of good the Origin System had available, and she wasn't the Sentient agent bent on crushing the worst threat to her species that ended up with a change of heart.
And yet, she was indeed all of the above.
Wether she comes to heal, fight or mediate, there is no doubt that she is capable of all three, despite not being Margulis, Natah or the Lotus.

When I found out that the Lotus was impersonating a dead woman I couldn't help but think it was a wrong stance to keep. Margulis was dead, and there is no need to keep the charade, specially after all the deeds she accomplished as the Lotus. All it felt like was as if she was manipulating most of the Tenno based on their dependance to their surrogate mother. But it could be understood why she did; the Tenno would be suspicious, any other form would have not allowed them to trust as readily as that of Margulis, wether by fondness of her memory or the hope she was still with them, and time would have just made that facade more permanent, a familiar view. It's specially important that it could provide some form of comfort to the newly awakening Tenno during the recent conflicts. It can be understood, but it still felt wrong.
Her reveal as Natah did not change much except augment my gratitude to her for staying with us, despite having to oppose her species, her family. It also brought me worry, for her connection to the Sentients could put her under risks that we could not protect her from, no matter how much power I had, no matter the amount of Warframes we held, and no matter how big our Alliances were. A worry that gripped fiercely during our encounters with Hunhow, yet, we surmounted him, and my heart rested easy on the relief, on the hope, that we managed the impossible.
And then Ballas destroyed any hope I had left.
As I laid in the aftermath of the Lotus' betrayal, left only with her mask and the painful hologram Ordis, in his well-meaning intention, provided for us. The revelations kept coming up and all I could feel was a creeping coldness, gripping me from my insides. Was she really brainwashed by the Orokin? Did we force Natah upon the role of the Lotus? Was everything a lie, fabricated upon an unwilling being, destined to hate us and attempt to destroy us? The cold then became something else.
With the pass of the years I and my fellow Tenno accomplished astounding things. We fought the coming attacks of the Sentient, all the while mantaining our work in the Origin System and the Plains of Eidolon. We managed to come into contact with Vox Solaris and put a huge resistance to the Corpus. We came upon weapons of the Old War in Deimos and repursed them for the coming war. We faced the Kuva Liches, we recovered the Railjacks, we found Parvos Granum and opposed his Sisters. We came into an understanding with Umbra and hurt Ballas. The chineras were fought, the Infested were repelled and the Glassmaker was imprisoned in his own Ironic hell.
I found out that we could continue just fine, if not better, without the Lotus. And that coldness just went numb and dissapeared. Only certainty of what was our foe remained.
But that certanty was easily shattered, replaced with doubts and confusion.
Despite her claims during the fight against the Ropalolyst, the Warframe that we recovered from it's remains seemed to imply that she was helping us still, even though she profeseed her enmity to us just a few minutes earlier. Ballas status being revealed to be nothing but a sham, showing that Erra considered him a peer, all the while Natah seemed to suffer under both of their grips. And that insidious message during the Orphix Venom, "I AM DYING".
It slowly became clear that even as Natah she was being hurt nad manipulated by others.
Many Tenno showed fanaticism towards making her our caretaker again, by force if needed it be, and the revelations only reinforced their views. And many other viewed her as someone suffering that needed rescue on behalf of everything she did for us, even if she did not take her role again at our side. And many simply wanted thed debt clear, and go back to fighting, wether she was an enemy again or not.
After everything that was the New War, the knowledge being laid bare and the understanding of her relationship to Ballas, Hunhow and Erra, I had to think. To come to terms that whatever tired being was sitting in that chair was no one I thought I knew, yet at the same time is one of the few people I know deeply.
I couldn't face her as the Lotus. The Lotus was nothing more than a lie, built in the name of need and pargmatism, an undead manequinn. An indiferent mask hiding the truth under a disguise and beautiful words.
Natah seemed like the obvious choice, but she wasn't Natah. Her experiences shaped her into something different, and thee manipulations she suffered destroyed whatever was supposed to be her true personality. And the Betrayal was still raw, despite all the years and events. I couldn't that face, the one of an enemy whose psyche was brutally flayed.
But Margulis? She was someone that she never was. Not what she became either. Margulis was a new face, despite her resemblance to that of a dead woman. There was no hidden purpose, no enemy to face, no secret to conceal. We all came to accept that whatever she was, she was never Margulis. Not even Ballas managed to make her his ideal Margulis, or even the dead one.
So I nudged her towards Margulis. as close as a new slate that she could choose. No need to revive something dead while reaching inside the chaos inside herself, an action that could hurt her far more than it already did. No need to continue the charade in the shadows, to continue a fight as if no truths were revealed and no change occurred to her children.
The System may need healing, but none other more than her.
I have to say she loved us any form she would take she went with ballas knowong she would die or we all die

I wanted to kill her and have hunhow as the guide before this update or like a new cephalon or something, but I’m fine with this outcome, when I played through the quest it was just hard hitting especially that one Scene with erra. It makes you sympathetic towards the sentients

Went Natah. Margulis is someone she never was, and that Ballas wanted her to be. As for the Lotus, its unclear how much of it was in fact Orokin influence imposed on her in order to make her closer to Margulis.
Natah is her true, original identity. It doesnt prevent here from caring for tenno of she chooses, and this allows her to still be a sentient leader, which may be valuable post war. Its also what Unhow wanted for her: for her to be free once more.
I do agree with most of the points except in the case of hunhow (due to the fact that he seems like the kind of father who would accept the choices of their child. baring foolish insanity like in eras case)

I went with Lotus, though I was torn with Natah.
Natah was who she once was. But Lotus is who she chose to be. While I felt for Natah, I believed choosing her would give up on who she had made herself into along the way. Margilus wasn't a choice, since she was never her to begin with.
I had the EXCACT thinking about this!!! i chose Lotus too for this particular reason, Margulis is just a dead person, Natah is a past self and Lotus is the person that she chose to become and help us!!!

And also because, Natah was her previous state, something she left behind, and that someone imposed her to return to. Lotus was a lie as well, something unstable between Natah and Margulis, her own identity that cannot live a correct balance among the two, pushing her to either help, or fight us. Margulis is what Ballas wanted, and what has been ripped away from the Tenno, turning them against the Orokin. But probably is also who Lotus tried to be for us. Either of the choices can be right and wrong to me, it really felt like an important decision.
I suppose Margulis is who she really is, without any personality alterations. She gets to be herself, free from any dream.

I chose lotus because it represents both who she is and what she represents. Natah yet more then her.
I think this goes to show how people are able to handle either moving forward with the story or staying in the past. I saw many people who chose drifter also chose Natah or Lotus, showing they are ready to go on.
I chose operator and margulis because of how long I’ve been playing the game and not wanting to let go of the past experiences I’ve cultivated with these characters.
Damn good quest, and eventually I’ll change Margulis to Lotus and Operator to Drifter, but I’ll wait until the Duviri Paradox before I worry about moving on 👍

I went with Margulies because I always wanted to see what the Lotus' face was. And now that I have seen it, I'm like , yep. Made the right choice.

But it's not. You missed the entire point. Natah was a sentient mimic designed to infiltrate the Orokin. Natah failed was captured by ballas and he tried to turn her into a facsimile of Margulis who died essentially in defiance of him, who died for the tenno she loved so dearly. This Gestalt fusion of Margulis and Natah became the Lotus. But unfortunately we can never be sure if the lotus' actions were truly her own or if Natahs lingering yearning to be a mother or the echo of Margulis that Ballas placed in her mind was what drove her. Perhaps both, perhaps neither. THIS choice is her finally choosing for herself. And what she's choosing is who leads. Because she's not just Natah or Margulis or Lotus now she's all three. There is no correct or incorrect answer here.

I chose Margulis because, as Natah she was used by her family as a weapon, as Lotus we were never sure if was her real choice to protect the tenno or just orokin influence, but as Margulis, she CHOSE to love the tenno, even she didnt have to, being a spy and all. Some may argue that Margulis was just a persona idolised by Ballas but on the final fight HE quoted that Margulis "negleted" him because of Tenno.

You choose which one has priority over the rest. So if you chose Margulis, her personality is the one she exhibits. Black represents logic, coldness, gentleness, and passiveness. Yang.
The middle is balance. The devs confirmed neither is good or bad.

Okay, the Lotus choice is important, but even more important, why do so many players kept this hairstyle for the drifter? As soon as I got to the camp I spent like 15 minutes to change their looks before going on with the New War😅
I chose Drifter because of course I did! I was hoping for his gameplay style, but oh well. And I chose Margulis because pretty face. I am a simple man with simple needs. Had I known you can change the appearance later (for a whopping 165 plat!) I would of gone for Lotus, simply because of my middle-ground streak up until now.
There's no Eternalist reality in the planes of existence where I would pick Margulis.
By doing so, it means I would be giving in to Ballas' twisted views and his insane obsession with resurrecting his dead wife, THAT HE EXECUTED WITH THE OTHER SEVEN, through a woman from another race who has nothing to do with her.
Natah was the right choice for me, it's who she really is, she no longer needs to hide her identity with a familiar mask.
I went with natah, as brutal as sentients are, it was her true form. They have their own family. Lotus is something she became, who she wanted to be. Margulis is also a good choice to give comfort to the children of zariman. I chose natah because it was who she originally was. What her mission begain with. And in the end she choose another way...
This quest is amazing
Not gonna lie, this choice is the longest I felt undecisive in Warframe. Before, I just chose a bunch of neutral options (because I like playing a neutral character), but here... I couldn't bring myself to choose, especially as tears fell from my eyes. I chose Natah in the end, she was Natah before becoming Margulis, before becoming the Lotus, I just felt it was appropiate for her to embrace her Sentient origins, even if her objective was to destroy the Tenno.
I think what I love is that neither are bad choices, we all have a different view of this choice and that's what I love about it. Natah, Lotus, Margulis, this woman is all three for different reasons.
I love how this scene is a role reversal from the second dream. It feels like we’ve come full circle with Lotus and I love it. Also, I chose lotus because it’s a balance between the opposing psyches of Margulis and Natah

Shes not. The original was executed when she refused to go along with the plan to use the tenno into weapons with the warframe project. Margulis is remembered by the Tenno for carrying for them when they were still recovering from the trauma aboard the Ten-zero. A happy memory in a sea of pain.

I chose Natah. For that is what she was named. She no longer needs to hide who she is. She doesn't need to pretend to be the person she was mimicking. She doesn't have to be a mysterious benefactor. She can just be... herself. Without a mask.
She is the lotus, again not doing it out of familiarity but because she helped us find ourselves and she needs to be herself as well, she's not Margulis and definitely not Natah, she wants to be Lotus, she is Lotus
Natah was a weapon to be used by her father, Margulis was a false identity exploited by Ballas, and The Lotus is who she chose to be to protect the Tenno. The moment she became The Lotus was the moment she embraced her own agency in the world, and started making her own decisions.

Chose Natah being her true self is what should truly matter and she should not need to make an effort to be someone else for us. The sentients may be a brutal race but were not following the same path that Ballus was going for. Makes me think if perhaps the Tenno and the sentients may learn to work together for perhaps an even greater threat that’s has yet to arrive or be known about..
I mean jeez if we were able to bargain with Hunhow and fight by Erra’s side realising that Ballus is doing this all for his own gain I’m sure that’s evidence in its self that the 2 can work together.
Still I can not wait to see what DE has in store post new war with what I’m assuming now next to be is the origin of the drifter and getting a better understanding how he/she managed to survive within the void by not accepting the man in the walls offer as well as finding out getting down to who truly is the man in the wall and why is it so Interested In us and why did it offer us such strong power… only time will tell

lotus was the right one for me because she abandon her mission as a sentient and become a mother figure to the tenno and she also not margulis anymore cause the memory was not her to begin with, it was just a part of a person who is no longer exist. Lotus is right in the middle of all this, she was born from this two personality.
No, the personality was not from the helmet she wore all the time, it was her genuinely. Ordis only use her personality projection when she left us and figure out what would she say to the tenno if they ever need her. The helmet was there to upload margulis memories only and so ballas can keep an eyes on her, when she was release by ballas, so does to the binding.
I wanted margulis bc of the looks. She honestly looks better without the mask. But I promised to bring LOTUS back. Not Natah. Not Margulis. Lotus. Our mother.

I chose lotus (but I was torn between that and Natah) because of who she is, and what she chose to become after recovering her strength, she could have choose the sentient form, but she chose Radiant Lotus, and after she protected us, I had to.
But, before the new war, I got a glimpse of what it would be if I did chose Natah, one random transmission with her face... And that made my heart tremble.

When The New War came and I got to this cutscene, I actually legitimately cried. I had waited 3 long years to get her back after The Sacrifice. No one had any idea how happy I was when I got to this point. I actually wanted to hug her right then and there. 🥲
But when the choice came to choose who she'd be, I was a bit hesitant. Margulis was the Orokin identity that was bestowed upon her, while Natah was her Sentient heritage. It felt like I would be robbing her of herself all over again if I had to pick one or the other.
In the end, I had originally picked her Lotus identity. I thought at first it was so I could maintain the true neutrality I have kept for so long. But now I see there was more to it than that. The Lotus is a symbol of balance and harmony. She _is_ both Margulis and Natah, but that doesn't mean she has to be one or the other. She can be whoever she wants. And The Lotus is who she chose to be.
To put it in her own words:
"Dream not of what you are, but who you want to be."
