I think this is only missing the scene where he pops up at the Foundry. Not quite a cutscene, but still an appearance.
Yea 2 bits are left out, one is the foundry but there he only says "tick tock..tick tock kiddo" and second was just before we collect the grimoire page, he says "you better give that page to me" something along that line.
@@GamingDauG iirc, he said smthn more like "you don't wanna be late again" at the foundry. With the page, Wally suggested that we "consider it part of our deal".
@@GamingDauGOh, i found my recording.
Void demon stood right in front of locker with page in pose in which you first encounter him in this video.
- "How about you give me the page instead, kiddo?"
- "Consider if part of our deal"
8:00 The Second Dream tune
I wish they kept Wally only disappearing after you look away now they just fade after their scene ends and that’s kind of lame
It surprised me that Loid could see and hear the doppelganger.
I always assumed it was something only we could see.
Maybe its something like bloodborne where only people with knowledge of the unknown can see such horrors
It's like the thrax grineer which are said to only be seen by those touched by the void
@@tinycervid7679Then Captain Vor must've had an encounter with the entity too. With his whole immortality using the void power from the key. With time being convoluted in the void who knows how much he saw.
@@Ak-6969 I am absolutely sure that Parvos Granum met the entity as well.
Some of his lines hint that he knows far more about what is going on than even Loid does.
@@Ak-6969I mean, ‘a wall of bone’ awaits his joining. If that doesn’t sound MITW to you, I dunno what is.
6:58 Loid in the background chipping away at the boss's health like, "ARE YOU GONNA HELP OR NAH?"
Loid: "This fuckin' LEECHER I swear" 🤣🤣🤣

This is the first time we've ever had a translation (or subtitles) to exactly what The Man In The Wall said during The New War ending.
the thing i love about the first scene is how the banging has the same rhythm as the "rap tap tap", i noticed it through my playthrough and i got super hyped when i opened the door
I love that the devs keep bringing back "Rap. Tap. Tap"! In the flashback to the Zariman, there's one kid tapping on the glass in that pattern. Turns out it's the Man again, appearing as your Operator. Just beautiful audio/visual storytelling.
@@SeenAGreatLight another thing i noticed recently in the zariman. Its not the same rythm as the usual "rap, tap, tap" we hear but theres an ambient sound where you can just here tapping on some glass. Its pretty chilling, like a reminder that the man in the wall is always there, always watching
"You, are, gay"
*trollface, man in the wall vocals*
okay, that made me laugh out loud
That would be accurate if Loid were watching.
Keep in mind this is first time we have heard The Man in The Wall sound genuinely angry or frustrated at 7:50
Yea the last scene where he crushes lotus in his hand got me so hyped, maybe more so than new war one
I mean thats not the man in the wall, that's loid shouting
@Fuphu I think they're on about when wally says "Voull Ne Xata Vok Mara lohk?"
@@declanwilliams3053 Could be, but his voice pretty much sounds almost the same, he just stances up real scary
@@Fuphu how is it close to loid at all im confused ? because its quite clearly wally no ?
Did no one notice the man in the wall true form looming over in the background in the final fight against the fragmented?
Where?
@@loserdiavolo6251 Really hard to see but it's to the right of the man statue, I can only see a line where it's head would be though
Can you provide the minutes where he appears?
@@martinneiverth8401 hes not shown here, but when u are fighting the fragmented, look up and hes looming over in the sky
You mean the big open mouth with blue light in the sky? I thought those were void ships.
In the end Wall-E is picking petals from a Lotus flower. In the end of the New War, Wall-E escaped the void portal that Ballas opened to Tall and Natah confronted him. Should we assume Wall-E "possessed" Natah (Lotus) too?
Not possessed but definitely left something within her, will have to wait until warframe 1999 for further story
Well according to the logs, she closed the portal right before he got out
Actually thought about that a while ago. We have never seen her Eyes as Lotus only as Natah. My theory was that wally got controll over her a long long while ago maybe even when she was first sent to kill the tenno. She wanted to save them but couldnt. So she made a deal with wally. He puts lua into the void but in return gets control over the lotus. And from that point on he was guiding us. But all this is just a huge theory from my side.
Wall-E absolutely possessed the Lotus, I don't know how people keep missing this
Her hand was smoking, she definitely shook to buy more time
I don't know why they didn't record new Operator and Drifter lines for this quest, but got them for The Indifference. Genuinely doesn't make any sense.
Perhaps because they didn't want to confuse players.
I just like to point out that at 0:37 we can hear wally going something along the lines of 'VOK, TOK, TENNOK'
We already know VOK is a voidtongue word from wally's TNW speech: 'VOULL NE XATA VOK, MARA LOHK' , but it's meaning is unknown.
TOK could also very well be a voidtongue word, and TENNOK likely just means Tenno.
Is it possible wally is saying 'Tik tok, Tenno', as if to say 'Time is running out, Tenno'?
Kinda sounds like Rap tap tap(tok) but more demoinoic remember the man in the wall all ways say Rapp Tapp tapp can possibly mean something
@@loserdiavolo6251 not only does it sound similar, it also follows the same cadence of right ear - left ear - behind you as Rell's Rap Tap Tap. I think Rell might have been repeating what he heard Wally say.
Mara Lohk is The tenno, Void child
4:23 literally me when promising myself to stay away from warframe, then coming back anyway to play out the mission.
It is ruining my life
Can’t wait till we’re able to replay the quest 🔥
Wait... You can't?
The new faction introducing quests are probably never replay-able. Same with cetus/Fortuna/zariman intro quests.
@@GamingDauG Fortuna is replayable
Yea they making whispers replay-able too
I know I’m hoping but I want Wally and the Tenno to end up friends, like weren’t we technically holding there face in the last scene? Bro is just lonely 😔
Wally was using loids "detachment" to control the vessel, essentially using loid as a pawn in that quest. Now as for Wally being lonely.... It does appear that he/she/they/it are multitudes upon multitudes, pretty sure Wally can chill with "me myself and I"
Would rather get the choice to side with wally or to go against him. Both sides would be absolutlay great
@@Pennywhice that would be amazing actually, like how we usually get three choices of dialogue in stuff.
@@Pennywhicehaving tenno who canonically side with the havoc would be amazing but I doubt DE's that brave
The opposite of indifference is emotion, or even touch. For someone that's indifferent to everything around them, being caressed or simply touched by another person would be a huge deal if they were starved of physical attention.
4:13 jesus christ what kind of mods you have there
They are not a mod; rather, it is the Warframe's first ability. The Warframe is called Kullervo, and his first ability allows him to teleport with a heavy attack to enemies, which, in turn, causes melee weapons to critically hit.
@@WolfsHunterand a stat stick
Kullervo's ability grants red exclamation crits after use.
2:46 this part here is amazing. The clock in the background, we only see his mouth but not his eyes and the ancient language *chills*
Yea one of the best moment of that quest
It’s hard to hear and I’m probably reaching here. But I think you could hear the iconic “Rap. Tap. Tap” when he walks down the stairs
I remember now, it freaked me out specifically because Wally usually disappears as you get closer to him but those versions in the beginning didn't
damn your Operator is pretty
wally version looked hecking ugly though
please tag me as we figure out the translation of what wall-e said im interested in the void tongue
I'm pretty sure he just repeats the requiems (vome and the others)
dude the fact that the power of love killed it is always gonna be so funny to me
I mean, its the opposite of it so it makes sense strong emotions would push it away.
Indifference, after all, is the lack of those emotions.
Actually no The tenno are able to take away the emotional pain of creatures that has been affected by the void, like we did for umbra we took away the creature's pain which was feeding on Loid's pain
If I'm right the man in the wall cam force a level of transference into creatures using their emotions
The "WE END AS WE BEGAN" Always takes it home for me. Wow what cinematic, thrilling, scary, interesting, enticing, story that pulls me to the edge of the seat. The Man in The Wall, the most intriguing character since The War Within quest. Finally showing up as the main villain and not a side mockery in a story of another main villain like Ballas or Hunhow. I think we might be getting closer to that ending that's being in the works for over 10 years lol
2:46 XATA. Truth. "Its heralds are the stars it fells / The sky and Earth aflame."
So vessel combat isnt going to be a thing, just a single cutscene thing? Huh
Knowing how Railjack got abandoned I doubt if vessel control becomes a thing it will be one and done thing. Maybe couple events focused on them and then forgotten
Well I mean Albrecht never really even finished them
@@WeepingWillowTreedevs already said there’s something big planned for them in the future
@@wandenreiche12345 ooo I hope we get to walk around in them. That would be so cool
@@WeepingWillowTree they said it’ll be crazier than physical means or something like that
So another quest ends... And we still don't see the end game. We are going to fight the man in the wall, at least we're sure of that. But how? How are we going to face him? It's like we're tackling one problem at a time without properly looking at the bigger picture.
Anyways, I think I understand the "deal" Wally is talking about. In Duviri, it was revealed that the real "Tenno" actually seems to be the Drifter or rather the child that created Duviri. But Wally painted over reality to hide that. And in turn the Operator lived on as a Tenno. But, the deal they had, as revealed in new war, was that Wally will save everyone aboard the Zariman other than Drifter. Yet, Drifter tried to escape several times and now, they seem to be free ever since New War. Therefore, the deal they had with Wally was broken, and the "wee child ran". In the next chapter. We might finally get to see both Operator and Drifter take Wally together. But again, there's no end game yet. As time pass by, Warframe's story is getting more and more confusing but it still manages to get me hyped up.
There is no end anytime soon, Rebecca already mentioned they have story planned for next 5 years. Ofcourse the length could change. Also drifter and tenno are same person but from alternate timeline, Wally just connected their timeline. Thus he can be anywhere, even in warframe 1999 he appears. Basically owning the power of timelines. (Just my theory and from what I have read from comments)
Thank you, i don't play the game anymore, tbh for years but i saw the man in the wall vids when it was fresh and wanted to know what was going to happen with it xD!
Yea just check main quest cutscenes. The lore is becoming interesting 😌
welp, something gonna die,
I have a feeling he's asking us if we know whats the true nature of the void
riddle me this. If Wally is controlling the vessel, why is the vessel angry and not having Wally's signature grin?
Because it was using Loid's anger as motivator.
0:36 when I played this I had surround sound headphones on, and I legitimately jumped when the music cut into voidtongue
DE took our beloved robo Wall-E to another level
I'm still so confused on what happened in this update xD
i tried writing a paragraph 3 times and something still doesn't makes sense in the middle. I think i'm also confused. Basically we now know from where man in the wall came, on 1999, and also the conenction between new war and duviri. I think we would understand better (hopefully) on the 1999 update story
Basically they were waiting on Albrecht's transmission from 1999, which informed them they checked in 'late' (missed a narrow window of time/sweet spot?) Meanwhile, the Indifference fed on the grief of Loid and all Entrati's other ghosts - by healing that grief, we stopped the assault on the Sanctum (for now).
As for the Vessels, and Wally's apparent fear as the Kalymos Sequence progresses: Albrecht might have based them on the transference loop Rell entered with his Harrowing Vessel - considering it DID work for a while. If the ending's any indication, using Big Humans to have Big Feelings against a big, emotion-based eldritch god IS theoretically sound
@@quantumblauthor7300 "Using Big Humans to have Big Feelings"... that sentence made me laugh so hard! Beautifully said. XD
is albreich supposed to be aiden pearce?
Maybe I'm blind but in the scene at 1:38 I can never spot him orz
that's not albrecht entrati that's the indifference
wait... the flower Wall-e is holding... isn't that a lotus??? 😨
Yes. Deal was broken so I guess lotus will have some price to pay
@@GamingDauG we'll see in lotus eater update
Yea.. sadly it's gonna be a small teaser like quest judging by what Rebecca said
4:33 get lost wall of Lohk!
9:00 gay moment
so we call im wally now? why? since wen?
You don’t have to
0:35
RAP TAP TAP
If you go out of Albrecht's lab on the sand, if you turn around 180 degrees and look up you can see the man in the wall way high above the 'exit'
he'd in the walls.
I disliked loid enough that I was annoyed I couldn’t give the man in the wall the last page of the book. Like the entire quest he just bothered me
Loid would have been better if de made him a woman ..... his action and gesture is so feminine they could make her loida instead
we do not talk down on our twink king like that
You really didn't get the memo with the bit after the boss fight did ya. It represents Loid and Alberecht's relationship and how they were once lovers, it's honestly a beautiful love story
@@declanwilliams3053 Is that really the story? I'm pretty sure Alberechy Enrtati has children which as far as we know ingame has only happened from woman and man, and its only ever been implied that Loid is his family's servant. Unless there's some lore as to why he stopped being lovers and started working for his own husband and children i'll take it as Loid getting recognition or the love he wanted from Dr. Entrati.
Again if im missing something please enlighten me, i'm just going off what I know from the bits that are extremely difficult to find whilst being incredibly abstract in Duviri and other places.
@@Fuphu It's pretty obvious they're in a relationship. First off Albrecht mentions he raised his daughter alone, so we can presume his wife is dead, ran away, or somehow isn't in the picture. On top of that there's the gentle face stroke, they both refer to each other as "My Loid" and "My Albrecht". And honestly the rest is pretty obvious when you pay attention to the rest of the quest with that context.
@@godzelda123 There's also the fact that the codex summary at the end of the quest explicitly refers to said caress as a "Memory of love".
i forgot how warframe lore make no fucking sense and is poorly conected, well, nostalgic anyway
It's very well connected, it's just not spoon feed. And quests are linked to one another, meaning new war and Duviri paradox are heavily related. You'll have no idea what's going on if you only played one. Same with this and warframe 1999 (upcoming quest)
@@GamingDauG lore: Maybe it would be a good idea to mix technological ninjas, but thinking about it, instead of ninja, armor with elemental powers, but thinking about it, let's go with vampires, haunts and werewolves too? I think we are also going to have an army of clones, immortals who feed on kuva and the threat to this status quo are children who have been exposed to a place/phenomenon called "void" that! we will also create solar trails where warframes will fight each other, no no, on second thought, we will fix it to be a mini event where the player changes planets. and ah, omni-aware beings from beyond the solar system who return to enslave everyone, but of course, we will be saved by a narrator who is both sentient and also a mother figure of the tennos, who actually thinking better, we need to get rid of this character so centralizing and by other characters to narrate the events of the game, before Rebecca herself leaves the DE
Just because they invent a connection doesn't mean it's well written or makes sense. a good lore and script go beyond that, it's like saying that Marvel is cinema, when it isn't. Cinema is art, Marvel is mass production industry without any art on it.
This is my point to Warframe. But still, Warframe is nostalgic for me, 10k hours of my life I spent in this game. Miss the Solar Rail combats, LoR, Jordas Golem and Eidolon Hunts.
I disagree, because it makes perfect sense to me so far.
Your reductionist view of the lore doesn't make it bad, just shows that you suck at reading comprehension
Wall e? Ugh......
the real stalker here is wally 🥲
