When you solder battery connectors you're supposed to push the stripped wire through the plastic ec5 head and then solder the metal onto it and then pull it back through the plastic. That's the proper way and it locks it in place
Depends on the bullet you have, some are designed with chamfer on different ends. plus on this end its hard to push in and not split the pins, wonder how I know that 😂😂 much easier on the other side where you can put a 3mm hex in and push into place
Thanks, although they issue with the trenchers is they weight so much and then you start breaking the car more on hard bashes, like to try to keep the car as light as possible
Ran xmaxx for ever, best tires for not wearing everything else out is there stock tires, same well go for XRT. WEIGHT of your tires is very important to longevity of all other .
100% Agree, adding lots of tire weight just causes more damage elsewhere, biggest issue with the Xmaxx tires is the foams dont last and the tires like to explode, which is really annoying as apart from that they are perfect for the xmaxx and would be for the XRT.
I have the Jetko 1/5 Belted low profile Tomahawk tires with red rims for 105.00 a pair . I keep my rig on the pavement and grass no hard core bashing the XRT cost $1k plus upgrades, I'd rather Pimp my Rigs more than I would trash them out!🤣
Damn it, fuuudge! I missed a live, with the most handsome Dood on RUclips 😆 😝 Davvve! Ya the man brother, hope all is well, Iam loving my XRT, you have to throw a Max 5 on it, i threw in one myself , that Traxxas esc was posing me off, 😉👍🏽💯
I tell ya I used the Maxx one for better part of year in the snow mud and rain ⛈️ it went but on the bench which was weird, it did stink compared to hw I have now . I'm going grab xrt maybe I use Traxxas esc for water snow mud truck . Maybe a arrma 6s haha 😄 .
@@paulclancy2404 hey Paul , how’s it going hope all is well, i would have to agree with ya, let the Traxxas esc run on the snow & mud crap, just the XRT is such a great truck, the Traxxas esc(stock) is so so underpowered , i tried to give it a chance, about 4-5 full packs with the stock esc….max 5 is killing it and making it a wayyyyy better experience 💯💯😉👍🏽💯
Thats ok, i dont think im the most handsome dood on youtube, but thank you 😂 im chucking a Max6 in to start with, dont have any Max5 currently, hopefully the max6 will do the job
Nice video, for me the XRT is just to overpriced imo, I do like the look of it but should be around the £700 mark, looking forward to see how she runs 👍
Thanks, its is over priced when you think about what it is, but the parts are some of the cheapest for repairs so over time it works out much cheaper than other 8s cars
I didn't, Kev got his a week ago Friday, they allow Kev to have his before the rest of the UK can get theirs, had a little drive of it last Sunday, it drive very nice
This side ones are the hardest, the other side are easier as you just hit in the bullet to push it home, IC5 are easier to solder but just cost so damn much and the cases can be brittle
Have always done a live stream on a Friday since we hit 1,0000 subscribers, unless i have nothing to show or talk about. Not having as much time to do normal long form vides at the moment, having problems with my neck which means i struggle to sit in from of a PC editing of an evening after sitting in front of the PC all day working, bearing in mind each 10 min long form video takes me about 20 hours to edit, they are not something i throw together in 5 minutes sadly
Its going to get sent for our first usage, so how it handles and then go from their, doesn't expect it to be as durable as the Xmaxx just due to basic physics, but always liked the idea of a large scale good handling truggy and the Kraton was just to fragile and cost to much to upgrade and repair

Proline trenchers for XMaxx is absolutely a beast on them so much more air control hold wheelies
Thanks, although they issue with the trenchers is they weight so much and then you start breaking the car more on hard bashes, like to try to keep the car as light as possible
Love your videos treating my self to my first TRAxxas next week lol. Want to get an xmaxx will see if there are any offers in new year.
Thanks, what Traxxas are you getting ?
@@HardcoreRC a slash 4x4 vxl I’ve always wanted one and was thinking mini max as a treat but will be getting an x max in new for sure

It’s worth every penny.
There is nothing cheaper to own than traxxas large scale. Arrrma and Losi nowhere near as durable.
Backflips I think are good tyres better than copperhead d boot
Yeah agree, think the Backflips are some of the best RC tires you can get

Yes backflip tyre on copperhead rims, woukd be awesome IMO 🤗

Just use deans T plugs 😆.
Nah joking, out of curiosity like? Why not Xt90 ?
@@mark-1rc502 Prefer the ec5 for not coming apart and they have higher amp rating, plus have them on the Outcast and Xmaxx that uses the same lipos
