Nibs, if any of your readers ignore your advice and try this trigger mod, there is a great pdf instruction guide for disassembly and reassembly of the gun, as well as how to do a trigger job. They just need to Google "Daisy 753 assembly" and one of the hits will be the Civilian Marksmanship Program's trigger modification instructions. It is full of close up color photos and step by step instructions. I also ran across an instruction video, but didn't actually watch it, so can't speak to how helpful it will be. I was thinking that it may help you find out where the "spacer" came from. (my guess would be in the stock inletting somewhere) Hope that helps someone who took the plunge. 🙂
That little black piece that you said you lost when you took it apart goes between the barrel and the air tube and covers a little hole 3/4 of the way up the air tube
I would need my magnet or wet/dry vac to get parts off the floor. Your video helps people decide before they mess up whether they need to try it or like me allow someone with better hand coordination to do it. Thanks. 🙏 👍

I really need to pick up one of those construction site magnets for my garage!
@@WalnutandSteelAs the knees & eyesight have gotten worse the long handled magnet has helped to find little tiny things. 😂
Hello Nibs!
Hey!
That little spacer goes between the barrel and the pump tube. I think it goes about halfway down the barrel.
