Curious how you settled on 600tq? From the few places I have asked and from the manufacturer of the AT it says 500tq is max. Great build and videos, thank you!
That’s been the known tq limit of the 7 speed AT before it starts to slip and VR30 motor before bending rods. I’m just transferring that over to the 9 speed and motor of the Z. Now that trans tuning is out for the 7 speed the TQ limits may be raised. As for the 9 speed, I rather just play it safe. Thanks for watching ✌🏽
Remember how costly and difficult it was to get 600+ whp on the 350/370Z? Tables have turned. Zs can finally be fast cars rather than just show/drift cars.
LOL its still pricey af, just had to replace a pair of turbos on my 370 and need a new tune now bc my old turbos arent made anymore. And now the mod bug bit me again with the rz while my 370 is gettin worked on. So much for " im keeping it stock "

Sir I know this sounds crazy but once again you and I seem to be having the same problem. I know it's been a minute since you made this video. But I am having the same issue with my Z1 turbos. And Alex is telling me the same thing the wastegate duty cycle seems to be showing fine and so is the timing. Would you mind messaging me so we can talk a bit further about this.
I say it depends on relationship with the techs at dealer my q is FBO 1700cc injectors stuck open they asked what all I had done and replaced them with stock ones car still putting down 540whp and 534tq under warranty
From manufacturer specs I found it is 500. A few big HP shops also claimed you want to tq limit around this number as well. Zilla keeping it at 600 will be a good test. Hopefully at worst just burn up the clutches sooner.

Most were done in 6th which is 1:1. We also tried 5th.

Ask for a tech when you go and not the advisors because the techs will be the ones trying to get the job done and get paid under warranty
