    Really liked the quick video my family owns a 17ft starcraft with a 1967 Johnson 85hp it was ordered through the sears catalog

    I had the same exact boat growing up, but ours had a 50 hp mercury on it. Thing was a great boat and alot of fun

      It was a fun ride handled the waves good for a 15ft boat.

      @@fleetwin1 my uncle just got a Starcraft islander with a outboard conversion on it has a very sharp v to the hull. Starcraft’s have nice hulls.

      @@fleetwin1 You seem to know some stuff on outboards I have a 75 Johnson stinger with a scored cylinder with 120 olds of compression on it do you think it will still put out some good power.

      @@omcoutboardboy4421 It's hard to say buddy...What is the compression on the other two cylinders? The engine will probably develop decent WOT power. Usually, when these engines are worn out, they are tricky to start and won't idle correctly. Good luck with it buddy...D

      This 15 is pretty fast with a 40 it is rated for a 50hp must be very fast with that.
