50 yrs ago, we had a 1963 Electramatic. I learned to Waterski behind it. It pulled me out of the Water in a Slalom Ski when I was 14. Flywheel came off of it the first run in 74, after it had been tuned at the Dealer. Fortunately the Recoil Starter kept it from flying away. To its Right, sits a 72 Mercury 50hp. First year for the Blue Stripes, and the only yr with blue that had Kiekhaefer on the Faceplate
Was a sad day to see OMC taper off into the dark. In their day, they made as good of a carburated outboard as ever was.
