"Maybe I should just pretend that I wanted a point like this" - That'll do the trick!

I'm glad I've found your channel. I really enjoy your content, it takes me back to when I used to collect stationery as a child. I'm slowly getting back into it recently having purchased some lead holders after seeing some of your videos.

Hello again. I hadn't noticed the misspelling of pencil sharpener ( pensil sharpner). I have to admit I had to look up correct spelling of sharpener. Perhaps a reason for misspelling is that most people pronounce it phonetically sharp - ner?

The wooden box looks really nice. I always (s)truggle with sharpening pencils when not being home or in the office because of the absent dustbin. So the box could be of help. I just wonder how the lead dust will behave in the box - will it pollute the inside?
Oh, and they misprinted "Pen_c_il Sharpener" on the packaging.
And now I will watch your video about the Faber knife - I remember that my dad had one of these.

Thank you for your comment. The lead dust makes it quite messy, see the last few seconds of the video where I hope it looks after one use.
      They also misspelled sharpener 🙂
About the FC knife. I don’t trennende if I made a video but I definitely showed it in a blog post. The link is in the video description.
Are you thinking of getting a pencil knife like this?

@@Bleistift Oh, "sharpner"! I stopped reading when I saw "Pensil" :)
(And did I really type "truggle"?!? - oh boy, I need a coffee.)
I am a fan of David Rees and his book "How to Sharpen Pencils", and I sharpened some pencils with a small but sharp pocket knive. But because of the beauty of a well sharpened pencil tip I prefer sharpeners before knives :) And a sharpener with a tub is great when travelling.
And I found the FC video in your interesting blog entry.

I do like the concept, however I don’t really see the versatility in this. I like the box and knife set but I think a simple folding knife works great. Plus I would imagine that the curved blade would be difficult to sharpen.

I would say that the plate has diamonds on it as well.

I agree, It's definitely not worth buying based on functionality alone. It is beautiful though.

All you've done is prove the old saying 'If you build it, they will come', or in this case, 'If you make it, they will buy'. That knife does nothing that can't be done with an ordinary penknife or craft knife, not a thing. Comes in a pretty cherrywood box so you can look at it and stoke it...
Stop playing about and go draw something
