I always loved all the cool sounds this ride made, and it really added to the amusement park atmosphere, a true classic, the 2nd last of its kind. It's a real shame the ride was so hidden away and the entrance was in an odd place. Considering the ride is German, it probably cost too much to keep the aging ride running year after year, and with relatively low ridership, it only made sense to get rid of it. You can almost hear it getting louder and more strained if you look at some videos of it over the years. Needless to say I'm sad to see it go. Thanks for all the years Orbiter, been riding it since about 2002

Yeah really nice footage and yeah it's a shame they took down orbiter because I never got to try it but it's ok I'm sure the ride that Will replace orbiter will be even better I don't when it's gonna be built though

I believe they removed it for Yukon Striker if I’m not mistaken.
@@yangliu6901 no, the park removed Skyrider in 2016 for Yukon. Orbiter was removed for maintenance costs were getting expensive, same for Skyrider.
