    Another great HACK video 🎣BRO 🤘. A little helpful tip for sliding weights is, interesting. A peace of hollow plastic ( lolly pop stick ) throw the hole, helping it slide easyer. And less chances of , it rubbing on the line & wearing into the line. I make alot of my sinker weights, as I don't have much money. FYI I luv you Channel 👊👍BRO.

    I've used wine corks to make popping corks and top water baits. Caught a nice size pike using a poping cork, a jig head and a small kick tail. I superglued 3 together in a row and made a walking lure and caught a small bass with that. 😁 . I like the hammer trick. But the brass, alot of brass is really hard to find. I could see using .22lr for 1/2 Oz or 1/4oz pencil drop weights 🤔 but the bigger brass that's $$. Steel case though. I can see that.

  • @rickbooher8224
    @rickbooher8224 2 года назад

    If you heat the lead for the flat sinker with a propane torch a little it will be easier to mash or if you have a hydraulic press to mash it. However a good hammer and a strong surface works with a little more physical labor; however it great exercise for strengthening the arm to fight that big fish you are making the sinker for in the first place. My dad and I use to make sinker when I was a kid. My mom would cringe every time we melted lead on her stove. She guarded her cookware pans from us everytime. Even though we bought one explicitly for melting lead over the years we finally bought lead melted. We too use to invent ways to create various shapes and styles. Everytime I see you with a sinker hack I think of my dad; however he has long since go on to be with the Lord as the memories of him lives on. He loved fishing and I remember the joy it gave him. He to like to teach others DIY hacks.

      It's not bad if there's a full moon . Our lakes aren't as dark as some rivers though

    Why Don't you Use two wine Corks

    Hey Buddy, I’m just curious? Rather than running the hole end to end on the wine cork, what if the hole was top to bottom? Wouldn’t it have more surface area on top of the water? Just curious, Always Love your Videos!!!!!!

      The cork will displace the same amount of water either way.

    If you want no roll sinkers why not just buy them? No more expensive than cannonball sinkers and don't have to pound them flat?
