Well this is Jim Brucks and I wish to thank you for checking out the water light. You're right I did want you to spend your money on it first before I spent mine and that comment cracked me up! Glad to see the interest in them and also it was cool to see that you also did some research on the other ones as well. Just a reminder to all Please if you can pick up old fishing line and help keep it from snagging unintended animals.
It was pretty cool . And I started it on Wednesday and Friday it was still running strong . We are on vacation now so I can't check it . But I got Over 8 days out of it . That's amazing for an emergency light . Thanks for the idea 💡 Jim
Just a good dude. And was always a blast to work with when we were attached with them. Stand up guy with his head on his shoulders. Wish he was back on the east coast would love to catch up with him again.
@@TimTrOn3000 Huh? Whose head? How would I know? I had nothing to do with it. His head was missing when I got there. Nobody saw anything. Just don't look in the box.
I loved living in North Carolina, being a Marine and living in Jacksonville, I loved the laid back lifestyle and I've tried to get back there over the years.
Those water lights would be great for hurricane prone areas,,, throw it in ya hurricane kit,, better than a candle for sure,, Purty Dang Awesome Right There Y'all Wheweee
I've tried some of your "Hacks", and came up with a few myself (all because of YOUR Ideas!). You're SO Funny, sometimes, explaining why your "IDEAS" work, I laugh every time! Keep'em Coming...
If ya want UV light on your boat, they do make UV led strip lights that work on 12-32V. I used some to charge my glow in dark perch lures when ice fishing.
I dunno, Keith! Those kiddos are stealing the show! Seriously, great videos as always! Oh, and thanks for including the info about the first black light hack only working on your hats … 😊
Second comment on this video. What about combining the technology of the salt and water light into a head lamp? Thoughts? It'd sure be nice to fish all night without swapping out batteries every few hours. I'm just sayin'... 👍🇺🇸
Nothing like all the guest appearances, the 1st light did instructions say Urine on it. Great video Brother. I sure am glad I own a Fish n Stuff hat, come on people jump in that store and buy some of this merchandise. Tell your family, Tell your friends.
Yep it says you can pee in it , in a Emergency lol . And evidently you have salt in your urine because you don't need salt but it won't be as Brite lol
Hey Keith, another good un, brother. All those ideas are pretty neat. Those lights that just add water, would be good as an emergency light, if your in your boat, water caint be far away, right ?!! Keep up the great work brother. God bless ya'll. And stay safe out there running around to Harbor Freight, Hobby Lobby and all those other places.
Same here I thought it was my Internet connection I was trying to reset my wifi LoL If it wasn't for reading the comments I would have still been trying to figure it out shoot I was about to call my provider and tell them I'm missing out on another great video of fish n stuff
I have tried to use different types of containers for soft plastic lures (mostly plastic worms) but they melt some hard plastics, you know, like "don't get your old red & white bobbers next to them". I know you've done that before. Are the Hobby Lobby containers melting?
I've used 2 different kinds for crappie lures abs the one on this video is one of them . And they have did fine . I don't have any soft plastics with salt added . If that Makes a difference
wonder if this would work in the bilge when fishing in salt water, thus alerting you to water in the bilge. yes a bilge pump would work great, this could be used maybe in conjunction to provide early alert ?
For survival situations and you are not near any sustainable fresh water and you want to conserve your fresh water. Can you use sea water since it is already salty? Does the sea water have the proper amount of salinity? Or do you still need to add the salt pack?
Like always another awesome video Sir. The salt water lamp is cool definitely gonna get a couple of them . Could used them during hurricane Idalia. 😂😂Gungeon Boats😅😅Stay safe and Keep’em coming
Do the instructions say whether or not if you can use regular table salt and the amount? Or if so would you have to reuse the original bag for the correct amount of salt?
Get a 3 inch pvc pipe cut the cap screwing thing off a water bottle and stick it on top with some super glue of the pvc pipe and put the cap under to make it so nothing falls out and screw a cap on top and boom🎉 you have a bluegill hook keeper
You need to be careful with cheap china UV flashlights. Sufficiently intense UV-A and blue radiation can cause chemically-induced lesions in the retina. Other effects are possible (e.g., UV-A induced sunburn), but the risk is much less significant. Glare discomfort may also occur at exposures within the safety limits.
Forgot to report back.. Son and I tried out that electric bluegill lure you had on one of your videos Thing swims around great but never caught a fish on it
I have seen this blacklight thingy for a bit now.. My question is, how dose it work with the bugs and fling insects at night. Aren't bug zappers made with blacklights?
They are . I'm not an expert on BlackLights but the one I made , we used and me and my buddy were shock that it didn't attract many bugs . But im sure it could go both ways
Great hacks ... do ya wanna do one on catfish baits? I've got a recipe that works! Told my buddy bout it took him to a spot and he ain't hit bottom before he had a 5lbr on the first cast
SO the Black Light flashlights you ordered what was the nm wavelength? Because 395nm wavelength and up will have more of a purple visible light spectrum but a 365nm will be less visible HOWEVER while 365 is less visible to the eye from the direct beam it will cause a lot more things to react more vividly with Fluorescence, and natural objects like fluorescent minerals usually require a lower wavelength like the 365nm and below where the 395 will not allow a lot of the fluorescent materials to react :)
Hey brother as usual your videos rock. I am going to purchase one of the Salt and Water lights, I am curious to see if it will work with just Saltwater from say the ocean or the gulf. Again thanks for the videos
ok, so when are we going to see a Fishin N Stuff big cat rod, and a complete line of actually functioning Fishin N Stuff catfish/bass/crappie baits/lures? i'v been waiting a while lol.
Awesome stuff as usual. Hey Mr. fishing hacks months ago I asked you for your help on something and you came through. Now I’m asking again. I have two buddies who get involved with cookoff at rodeos etc. They have to carry several 120 quart coolers for all their cooking stuff. so many coolers get in the way they’ve asked me to build them a storage system where they can stack the coolers but still open them when they need stuff from them. Thought I could figure this out, but I don’t think I can. If you ever get time, would you look into this cause? I’m sure you could figure it out. Thank you so much. Love all the videos.

use a teaspoon or tablespoon... a guess.amount...how many grams is that?..in an emergency, you want exact measure?
Yes it tells you
@@FishinNStuff Thank-you for the reply, I will order me a couple then!!

Keith, what is the purpose of black light on a boat or on the bank? Pretty interesting about the different lights.
They just light up your rods and make it very easy to see when you're getting a bit or takedown without lighting up everything
@@FishinNStuff oooohhh, I see now, so to speak. I probably would have known that if I night fished! Ha ha.
Those water lights are awwssome, specially for some that could get caught in a tornado shelter with no electricity.
Does it work with pee?
@D-B-Cooper yes ot says it does on the back of the package

They haven't yet . I've used one of them for a couple years

@danpost4755 1 thing though . My crappie baits are not salted . I don't know if that maters

So how long did the water light actually last?
It was on my next video . I believe it was like 5 days . What ever it was , it was impressive
11:26- A light like that mounted on a boat (at night) has got to attract 190 million bugs!!!!
All lights attract bugs . But ive used black lights and it's not as bad as you would think
What if you used water from the ocean, would it work?
Yes , it says sea work and regular salt mixed with water works also

Is that rod spinning or casting?
I guess it could be both . But it's technically a casting rod .
