I'm building my 2jzge vvti right now and bought bc springs with steel retainers, I have tomei 264 cams stock head and valves, built bottom end aiming for 600+hp with plans to maybe go to 8-900hp in the future. I'm not planning to go crazy with rpm 8000rpm max I'd say, so would you say I've chosen the wrong springs? do I need to upgrade to at least the beehive springs? thanks

Hey Josh! You got the perfect combination of parts for your current whp goals. But, the future goals - after 700whp I think the whole combination would need to be revisited. That cam is not going to make power to 8k, so that's not a real concern. But, the spring is not enough to do 800-900. You would need the BC dual or a plethora of others available. If you go to our website, and look at the 2JZ pricing everything is separated by WHP. That should help you on parts selection. Or drop us an email from the site. Thanks for watching and good question!
