Poorly installed light fittings - Your local Electrician

During my working day as an Electrician I see many hazards that could easily be prevented by using a competent, registered person. In this video I show poorly installed light fittings that could have caused a potentially lethal situation. This could easily have been avoided by using a competent and registered electrician.

Did you sleeve all the earth wires individually on the first light you replaced, I noticed they were all bare

Yes indeed. Whilst there isn’t a regulation to say that earth cables need to be sleeved. It is good practice to sleeve them individually with green/yellow sleeving 🙂👍🏼
