This song is from the Album Metal Health released in 1983. Thank you guys for reacting and playing this great music from back in the day. There is a lot more to discover, Ratt, Dokken, Twisted Sister, and many more.
This is the very first metal album to go number 1 on the billboard chart. A few of my other favorites from them are, "Come on Feel the Noise" and "The Wild and the Young",also "Mama we're all Crazy Now"...
Remember hearing this for the first time...summer of 83'. Blew me away. Fell in love instantly with "heavy metal" and later hair metal, glam metal....all of it. The Crue is still one of my top 3 bands OAT!
I was 12 years old when this came out in 1983 and I remember the first time I heard it. I was in my school lunch room and one of my friends had the cassette and we listened to it on his walkman.
I was 11 and the furthest back I can remember of watching MTV was Greg Kihn’s Band Jeopardy!! Was a good song but the reveal of the bride in the video creeped me out!!! LOL
Funny how this younger generation is all about breaking down the lyrics. I remember listening to this on cassette and was not really into breaking down the lyrics as much as I was into just rocking out to the vibe this song was putting off. The 80’s were iconic and that is why so many of the songs are sampled in today’s music. As a twin myself, I do enjoy watching this channel and seeing both reactions. Keep it up!
At first, they , all reactors, thought they were teaching us. Lol, lol. Ummm no, we really didn't care about lyrics sometimes, cause one, we usually didn't have the lyrics. We had to listen and write them down. It's our music, we don't need the lesson, thank you. But most reactors fall in love with the music.
Kevin DuBrow- vocals (deceased) Carlos Cavazo- guitar Rudy Sarzo- bass Frankie Banali- drums (deceased). Rudy Sarzo played with Ozzy Osbourne's band for a while and other bands. He was always the most active musician outside of Quiet Riot
RIP to QR singer Kevin DuBrow & QR drummer Frankie Banali (also played with W.A.S.P). Bassist Rudy Sarzo also played a little with Ozzy and Whitesnake. Guitarist Carlos Cavazo recorded 1 album with Ratt.
@@unklebacon44 I know, I have the albums he was on but he had nothing to do with this song or album. They were asking about the members so I just stuck to this lineup.
They really were huge. They came out when I as in elementary school. It freaked out the teachers and parents. Lol Other songs of theirs you should do are slick black Cadillac Mama we’re all crazy now Cum on feel the noise And many more 🤟🤟
Yes Sir Reeee... I got to see them in Concert in fall of 1984 in Wichita Ks. White Snake opened up...(Slide it In Album)..My Very First big city concert. It was there 2nd major tour of new album CONDITION CRITICAL....I did get awesome concert Tshirt with mask guy on it. So COOL... it would Glow in the Dark.. by FAR my MOST MEMORIABLE CONCERT.. 2 MUSIC GIANTS TOGETHER... In Earlier days...
Saw these guys at The US Festival 1983-Heavy Metal Sunday. They were the openers along with Motley Crue, Scorpions, Ozzy Osbourne, Triumph, Judas Priest and Van Halen
How anyone, young, old, girl, guy, alien, bug, whatever, could NOT headbang to this song is beyond me!!! This is one kickass song from the 80s where u can’t help but headbang to!!!!
Seen these guys in Concert here in Amarillo,Texas sometime in the early 80's! Helix and, whitesnake opened for them and,it kicked ass! (Kevin Dubrow..Carlos curvazo..Rudy Sarzo, and,Franki e Banali..
I grew up with older sisters listening to pop. Footloose came out and I heard this song. They thought I was rebellious lol. They were listening to the car radio with their junk. I had a Walkman with all my old tapes. First one I got was AC/DC. Def Leppard was next.
The best part of the song is the ha-ha, ha-ha-ha during the middle eighth. This is the first album I bought as a child based of the song's entertaining manner. Fun. Stupid. Rock Music.
Quiet Rior were: Kevin Dubrow (RIP) vocals; Rudy Sarzo bass; Frankie Banalli drums and Carlos Cavazzo guitars (he substituted Randy Rhodes when he left to Ozzy's band)
When Quiet Riot was signed, they broke open the L.A. Heavy Metal music scene. Also, Randy Rhoads along with Kevin Dubrow --the singer, founded this band, when Randy left to join up with Ozzy, Quiet Riot became this iteration. Rudy Sarzo, later, left QR to join up with Randy in Ozzy's band. Sarzo is one of the most prolific bass player in the hard rock genre.
I saw them in Lubbock Tx in 1983 when I was in the USAF at age18. They rocked the house and no we didn't wear masks like the band, at least not that I saw. I have a really cool pic of me standing next to an A-10 Warthog 30mm gun with a Quiet Riot t-shirt on. RIP to lead screamer Kevin DuBrow.
It was on my playlist back in the 80's along with my friends ,nothing like hearing & feeling this song on a killer car system while cruisin down main street on a Friday or Saturday night ,you Guy's rockin some great mems of my past!..😂🤘👍👍
My favorite band of all times is yes. Yes I mean yes seeing all good people is one song and yours is no disgrace is another and roundabout is another and close to the edge is another. There is a concert live on close to the edge around 75. Yeah play that these the thing about these guys are all super magicians musicians. I'll get it right. Love your show. Hang in there!
Quiet Riot were great...R.I.P Kevin Debrow and Frankie Banali....Frankie(drummer) he was a very accomplished player. He was with Wasp and even Billy Idol and a touring drummer for Faster Pussycat for a minute...other than his work with Quiet Riot, his work with Heavy Bones was one of my favorites. Randy Rhoads (Ozzy) was a founder of Quiet Riot as well...
I forget his name, cuz Im old, but the drummer was the nicest person you'd ever meet. Much of his money went to help his sick mother. There are some very cool documentaries on the "Hair Metal Years" 1980-1989. Check out 'When Metal Ruled The World-LA Sunset Strip' here on youtube. Thats a good one to start with. I think this video was pretty early on, Im gonna say around 1981-82.
Oh yeah! This came out just after I broke up with my long time boyfriend. The metal help me deal with all the shennigans that ensued. I still love this song and it is played LOUD! I want this at my wake when I die. lol
Awesome song! Quiet Riot was lucky enough to be one of the original hard rock bands to break into the top of the Billboards with a lot of help from MTV. Opened up the doors for many hard rock bands. In 1983 they played the US Festival and blew the crowd away. Early 80's the bands out of the Sunset Strip that were creating a lot of noise and getting a lot of attention were in full force. But because of this band and video many broke through - RATT, MOTLEY CRUE being two that had their music finally showcased. Quiet Riot did pigeon hole itself a little bit with their look and their videos. This did happen to a number of bands with videos and styles that sort of was what got people hooked and became an expectation. Kevin Dubrow (lead singer) was especially gimmicky as the front man and made it a point to look like he was insane. It stuck! RIP Kevin.
Kevin Dubrow had a great vocal for this kind of music. Randy Rhoades also played with Quiet Riot and in this video the guitarist more looks like him (prior to going with Ozzie).
Carlos Cavazo was the lead guitarist in this video. Randy Roads already left to join Ozzy?. Rudy Sarzo had left to play for Ozzy, but returned to Quiet Riot after Randy died. He eventually joined Whitesnake .
Kevin Dubrow-Singer(RIP) Guitar-Carlos Cavazo Bass-Rudy Sarzo Drums-Frankie Banali (RIP) The original guitarist who co founded the band was legendary rock guitarist Randy Rhoads who went on to play with Ozzy Osbourne. Randy tragically died in a plane crash in 1982. Randy Rhoads & Eddie Van Halen were rivals in the late 70's
You guys would love the rock, hard rock and metal from the 80s!!! You guys will learn to headbang and won’t be able to stop!!!
