Of course I am watching brother. It was a pleasure to make that tumbler for you and that video meant a lot to me as well. It was cool to see how you and your family support each other on your hunting trips. Happy to see you enjoying the cup dude. Keep up the awesome videos!!
I absolutely love your videos! That compulsion to just get out for some fishing in this late dragging winter! Nate's a dedicated man hitting the water for his lure! And of course, right when he's putting his pants on he gets a fish on. As usual, great production quality.
What a treat this video is !! thanks for taking us along and sharing what looked like a great time. Love the drone shots, the camp and cook and the friends and family you spend time with that make good memories for all of us to see. I know you like hunting ,but I enjoy your fishing videos. 🙏💕👊
Amazing aerial footage! Thank you for taking the time to create your videos and sharing your adventures! May the good Lord bless you always young man! Thank you!
Dude, you are truly impacting lives with your videos, you take us to some beautiful place and share your hunts and your amazing family... You are a great guy and a fun story teller, you always do the right thing. So many of the hunting RUclipsrs, will cheat to get ahead and some will even poach... You did a Podcast with someone that poached a wolf, just for likes and followers... You aren't that kind of man and you're doing Washington proud. Much respect Sincerely Tim
I’ve 100% have gotten undressed to go swimming for a snagged lure. To me it was worth it since other people had snagged on the same log. I came out with my lure and three others.
We love you and much as Shawn, the guy that made you the cup too! lol We always watch your channel. You’re such a very smart, hard, striving, motivated and a go getter young man. We are super proud of how far you accomplished. As parents ourselves, to see how far you came, we couldn’t ask for me. Keep up the good work son! Stay healthy and safe! Most importantly you never forget the lord our Heavenly Father. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
To fully inflate those air sack pumps you actually blow gently into them from a small distance away. Due to Bernoulli's Principle your tiny bit of breath pulls in additionally air and inflates the bag quickly. You can efficiently inflate a lot of sleeping pads in minutes with just a few full bags of air.
I wanted to say I think your SY logo looks fantastic! I meant to mention it a few videos back and forgot. Also, thank you once again for sharing your adventures with those of us who may be chained to our computer desk each day. I always enjoy watching. Hoping to get out this Summer into the outdoors myself.
Speaking of supporters man I saw you in public about a month ago but never said hi because I was too nervous and I've never done anything like that before, maybe if I see you again I'll work up the courage! Love you and your videos Sam. KEEP. IT. UP.
I never knew about the fin clipping. You have a good channel my friend. I don't fish as much anymore and I haven't gone camping in a couple years so I like watching your channel.
Hearing your rod when a fish hits is exciting. Set the rod over rocks, and place an empty shotgun shell (12 gauge for big fish, of course) over the tip. When a fish strikes or takes even a little line, the line will pop the shell off, causing it to land in the rocks, making a distant sound "Fish On".
Great video watching you and nate having fun in the outdoors. By the way that's the exact way I make breakfast most of the time everything all together.
fun fishing video, i really liked it. i looked in the gear dept. but couldn't find the tent you 2 were using....you mind letting me know the brand n model so i can check them out, thanks guys, and thanks for the video as well.
I was in Salt Lake City when the expo was going on didn't know it though! my daughter had a la Crosse tournament going on! hotels where packed with everyone hittin it up . Great video !
I am from Louisiana, working in the west Texas Permian Basin. There is no water here. I do enjoy your outdoor adventures in a region I aspire to visit. Thank you for entertaining me. I am taking notes. Frank Abbott, Ball, Louisiana Lately from Kermit, Texas.
There's nothing I look forward to less in life than processing a cold trout in a cold body of water in the middle of winter. My hands got numb just watching but that being said, hopefully I can get out next week- its Spring Break! 🤣
Hey brother well done again as always! But you have yet to catch a trout at Rock lake? You may think river trout tastes great and they do especially from Roosevelt but you might be impressed chowing down on one from the rock south of Cheney. Yes you can fish it from the shore and they don't mind if you camp there. That lake is a special place! 😁🤛🇺🇲🦃
👍 I hit the like button and it was the first time I saw a 999# and rolled it to 1000. Kinda kewl. Found you a couple days ago and I'm all fired up to go. Pop's and I have been thinking of going for a few months now and I think we're going to head out tomorrow for a couple days. Heard you mentioned Spokane river? Got any advice for someone who is going for the first time? I'm a serious fisherman with 50 years experience just don't know where I'm going? I've lived and fished Westside rivers, lakes and Puget Sound/ocean and haven't ventured further than potholes. Have friends that fish around the pens on Roosevelt? And I've heard talk of ferrys landing? Going to grab a motel to make it easy. Do you have any places that you'd recommend? Heck meet us there and we'll have a time! Pop's a hoot and you've never seen someone more pleased with themselves than him after landing a fish! Take care all and any advice is welcome and appreciated. Good Day
If you're snagged, there are a couple of things you can do. First is, attach a weight to your line and let it slide down to your bait with a little slack, this will pull at a different angle and is often enough to unsnag the hook. Second, if you're fishing in a place with significant current, you can let line out and let the drag of the line pull the bait from a different angle. These techniques have worked more often than not for me.
The spinner is a simple lure but perfection is doing all the little things right. You can make it work much slower and it will run closer to the bottom. It will also give the fish more time to investigate and strike at it. It was only when I started salmon fishing that I realized the hidden complexity of spinners. You have to think about it from the perspective of what the fish are eating. Put yourself in the mind of the minnow your lure represents. Why would you be racing across the surface at full speed in the middle of winter with no other fish in sight? It’s unnatural and so they are repelled by it. That kind of stuff will work for stocked trout because they were raised on pellets and don’t really have much of a concept as far as how their prey should or shouldn’t act. Try slowing it down and challenge yourself to see how close to the bottom you can stay through the retrieve. Try changing your speed mid-retrieve. Or stop it dead for 3 seconds and then keep reeling. These are just a few methods to trigger more bites.
Man, I'm so excited you were able to connect with Brian Call. I hope that's a gamechanger for you Samong. Which tent model is that? And the stove? I'm assuming they are Seek, but which versions?
Samung, you said you would try the chartreuse power eggs tipped with a powerbait honey grub worm. I’m still waiting bro come on the bite will change your way of doing things, tight lines
Do you ever notice a pattern in timing of bites throughout the day? I've been trying out this particular river lately, to moderate success. Are the bites consistent through the day, or does it peak at certain times?
hey! I just wanted to say that i enjoy your channel very much. You and Nate gel well together. One thing , where are you two from? locations? I'm out here on the West coast Ca. and none of your backdrops look familiar. Also what makes your episodes so nice is your way of editing and your choice of sound tracks the show some how has a relaxing/calming effect. Keep up the good work. Best Regards, Geno San Jose Ca.
I saw that a couple of the comments mentioned Roosevelt, which is the impoundment of Columbia River behind Grand Coulee Dam. That's a massive enough body of water that mentioning it is not giving away any secret spots. 😁🤣

Good Day
Just started watching but is that a honeybucket on its side...lol...might make taking a dump interesting!!
Mind sharing the camp site, I am in North Idaho and am looking for someplace to go this weekend and catch some fish like those.

Great video but London cut is a roast not a steak lol😂
So does this "sleepy slider" stuff make sleepy, or just super relaxed TO sleep?
I think you will find that you will catch a lot more trout using a much smaller treble hook like 16 or 18 especially in heavily fished waters.
I never thought about what happens when you blow into your sleeping pad. Guess I need to rethink my setup.

should use a bobber with a snap barrel swivel as a strike indicator
Great video
Your foreshadowing edits are bang on these last two videos…watch horror movies much? 😂
where can i buy some of your hats?????
Currently working on inventory and the website! Hoping to have everything launched sometime this summer!

What river is this? I want to fish it sometime this summer
POPCORN IS NEEDED.
39sec deep say's, YES.
Put a weight on a snap and slide it down the line. Works great.
What boots are you wearing in here?
These are the Schnee's Beartooth 200gr

What lake is it?
I saw that a couple of the comments mentioned Roosevelt, which is the impoundment of Columbia River behind Grand Coulee Dam. That's a massive enough body of water that mentioning it is not giving away any secret spots. 😁🤣
