Couldn’t be prouder to work for and support ecotricity, as we constantly lead the charge towards a greener Britain. This is one additional giant step forward. Congratulations team! :)
Proud to be a supporter of Ecotricty. Fortunate to have enough money to invest in solar panels and a battery. Even with the rubbish weather we had through July we only used 16 units of electricity from the grid. Our energy bills are really low.
Great to see at the end of a grim week of announcements on 'maxing out' fossil fuels. We can add 'bills into cells' to the 'bills into mills' streamline!
I want one! No seriously not as big as those but my own. News article today about pylons. Surely the way forward is for each community, village or town/city district, to generate solar into local batteries and no need for pylons. I guess the transition is the thing? Anyway thanks for the email with this video, keep 'em coming and quickly please??? 🙏👍
That explains why the windmills have been stoped every now and then. I was wondering each time I cycled by and saw them not working. Will be good when it's all working properly.
@Ecotricity if you were ever planning an open day to go see all this infrastructure I'd be really interested. I went to see your first windmill many years ago and it was fascinating.
This is good and all, but I think we should really be talking about some people hanging some black fabric from a house instead. Said no one remotely sane.
Now this is the kind of content we need to see what's actually being done :) great to see, thank you!

What type of battery you’re using? Would like more technical details

A kind of enormous UPS? :D
