Adidas YEEZY 700 Sneaker Review - Is this the best from Kanye?!

In today's video, I go over the Yeezy 700 Waverunner from both a design and historical perspective. These shoes initially launched in 2017 to a lot of skepticism/criticism, but are widely known as one of the best Yeezy's to have released from Adidas. The Yeezy 700 Hi Res Red was actually just released last week, so the brand is still experimenting with different color combinations.
Kanye (Ye) basically doesn't need any introduction from a sneaker standpoint. He's had sneakers with Louis Vuitton, Nike, Adidas, and each of his shoes is extremely sought after. The Adidas Yeezy 700 is probably the best from Adidas, but many people loved the Nike Air Yeezy, especially in the Red October colorway.
Steven Smith, the lead designer of the Yeezy 700, came from a tremendous heritage at New Balance. He is the known as the "Dad of the dad shoe" and his resume speaks volumes to his success as a sneaker designer. He helped design the following for New Balance:

New Balance 576
New Balance 577
New Balance 997
New Balance 1500
...and possibly more that I haven't covered.
Basically, the dude's a legend. It's no surprise that Kanye asked him to help develop a "dad" shoe for Yeezy Brand. It's also uncanny that Kanye seemed to really like the United Arrows Collaboration with New Balance as well. I don't have that pair, but my Kith pair has a lot of similarities with the Yeezy 700 Waverunner. Enjoy the video!
