    Interacting with the guy off camera is good, makes it more friendly and relatable.

    You're too good at what you do Dagan. Thanks to your demo I just caved in and purchased this guitar. I live in Sydney, Australia so I purchased it locally. (Sorry PMT) Nevertheless, I hold you, Dagan, 100% responsible for my uncontrollable need to grab myself one of these awesome guitars. PMT need to double what they pay you.

    Just bought one of these, Dagan...and it's absolutely AMAZING (even as you've described)! Highlights for me: 1) It's exceptionally light and balanced; 2) As with all Jackson/ESP "Dinky" bodies, the neck is just phenomenal...AND one of the best 24-fretters extant; 3) String tension in E St'd is maybe MORE compliant than most "shredders" in Eb; 4) Resonance and p'up combination makes for unique tonal possibilities (a MODERN take on '80s Metal and MORE!).

    I have the FR6 baked white one and it's the best guitar I've played in that price range. I recorded a whole album with it and did the job perfectly.
    The sound is incredible and the bridge pickup sounds amazing for clean guitar passages. Almost like an acoustic not kidding.

    I played this guitar at a long and mcquade store and was so close to buying it, it had the perfect tone and all the features I was looking for, I didn’t buy it though I wish I had because I haven’t been able to find it since.

    You paint it, sand it off and it’ll stick to the grains. I’m a woodworker and I’ll do it with white oak when making shelving. It’s a cool effect but it only works on certain woods. Ash, white oak and mahogany but not as cool of an effect.

    I was wondering the same thing when I saw these guitars. After my search on the interwebz I think this is a cerused wood finish technique.

  • @raytorvalds3699
    @raytorvalds3699 2 года назад

    I'd think they first sandblast it, then spray it black with white over top (in this case) and then sand off the top coat with a sanding block.
    That way they're not sanding the deeper laying grain pattern (and the 2nd color).
    Just a guess.
    Very cool guitar ! And video too, of course !

    i have a DK2 but it was made in 2004 in Japan it soundsway better than my 84dean Flying V
    DK2 is a great guitar that has aged nicely has a Floyd that i raraely have to tune
    its very stable.

  • @rob808
    @rob808 2 года назад

    I had the HT version and it had to go back as despite locking tuners and a hardtail it wouldnt stay in tune, numerous packs of strings too. Shame as its excellent, i may risk another as that one may have been a dud.

    Why do some of these have different headstocks? I've seen this one along with the more normal Jackson headstock

      I believe the "MODERN" models have the headstock featured in this vid...as wel as the Fishman P'ups.
