The despia conversation made me lol as I main the deck... gimmick is stronger than chimera but the more chimera numbers come from what Jeff said also despia is just harder to pilot with deck building and interactions to play through ashe
I’m glad you brought up diabellestarr with the trap because I used it recently in testing with evil twins. If cards like e con and droplet are good next format then diabellestarr serves double duty as a free send/tribute fodder while still retaining the negate
@51:40 for what it's worth there's 'Full-Armored Xyz' in AGOV, which is literally the only Armored Xyz card you can search with the rank 5 when the set drops. Can't even detach 2 materials :(
Konami's tin exclusion decisions this year is baffling. Like sure Karakura and Ultimate Slayer will probably be shoved in a side set where the TCG unveils the worst archetype you've seen in your life, but why exclude Tear and Spright? Last year they excluded Swordsoul but shoved all the cards in MAMA but I don't think Rarity Collection or Maze of Millennia will have either deck. Spright isn't too expensive these days but Tear Planet would have been a welcome reprint alongside some rarity bumps. Excluding Magnifica when the rest of the Exosister core is in is even more baffling. Vaylantz got excluded so they could make space for...another Adventure Token reprint? And some of the tin inclusions are weirder, like a bunch of erratas that seem better suited for an OTS pack common. And some of the promos are weird too (No RDA for the Jack SD? Blaze Dragon instead of the XYZ Salamangreat actually runs?
Rikka and VS did well because they play flawlessly into time. Purrely was hard filtered by being horrible in time. It seems like a huge concern this format.

The trap is really good and turns Diabellestar into a better Adventurer engine. I'm glad he mentioned it since people are hard tunneling on R-ACE.
