I have a '17 Coronado. Absolutely love it! Except for the exhaust and dash you literally "whined" about after market bolt-on pieces. Dude, if you hate the truck so bad why did you purchase it?? For everyone else, they're great trucks with a nice classic feel.
@@MakeMoneyTrucking well hope you change whatever you feel needs to be changed. I think you have a bad ass rig though. But I do agree with you about the seat, I’m short so it would be a nightmare. Haha
I have a 2017 coronado glider same problems with the dash. It's makes annoying sounds while driving. And I had the same problem with the window while rolling up. Then I put a tape which has one side glue and other side fabric on both out side corners where the glass slides on so it keeps the glass a littel more in side then normal. Then it don't get stuck in the visor. I like your truck. Congratulations
Thanks and you as well how long have you had your glider ? Yeah I don't get the plan when they put the window visors on and they are part of the outside window body paint and all. I wish I could just rip them off but I think it will look weird or off
I like seats that you can adjust height whit out the air, hight adjustment and airride is 2 separate system on the seat and a 3 system that adjust the damping, like a adjustable shock.
@@MakeMoneyTrucking Here we have that on Scanias stock seats. And i think you cn buy it to now www.isriusa.com/products/aftermarket/premium-5030880-nts/
Five things I hate about all three of my freightliner coronado gliders... SQUEAKS, RATTLES, SQUEAKS AND RATTLES and more squeaks. I took all the cabinets out and put automotive rubber weather strip behind them and remounted, fixed those annoying squeaks. Took door panels off and wrapped boommat around door lock rod, fixed that annoying rattle. I fixed most of the noises but now the friggin cab squeaks on the body mounts... I give up, 😂.
Great video bro, I thought about doing full fenders on that 579, but the more i look at it i want to do half fenders only. Those window chops are dumb, I can't believe they didn't make them removable.
@@MakeMoneyTrucking i agree lol. Since our fuel trailer have full hose trays and fenders on them i may just do the half fenders. Im mainly wanting to just keep dirt from slinging onto the back of my cab
The crude oil tankers and fuel tanker fenders are very close to the full fenders on my truck very close like 4 inches or less, a half fender will keep rocks controlled
@@MakeMoneyTrucking absolutely, yeah one thing I'm concerned about is my fifth wheel is right between low profile and high profile. If I add fenders, I may have 6 inches clearance, but I'm concerned about the back of the fenders hitting the hose tray if I tilt too much by going over a high RR track or something like that.
So there is legit reason they make a low, medium, high base seat. It has to do with the height of the driver. It has nothing to do with being cool or being on the floor. If you are a tall driver you want a low base seat so you can have air in the seat and not be looking at the shelf above your head.

Nope I wanted the 14.0 liter 60 series detroit I would have bought a Pete if I wanted one You will see I have always owned freightliners on my channel and business
You forgot the wind blowing through your door speakers in the winter and you left kneecap getting frostbite 🥶
Ya and the door handle hole as well

The seat is called the “legacy Lo” meaning the seat is made like that. “Low suspension” you can always get a different one bro! Nice rig you got there
I know still costs money to replace
Thanks on the complement
Everything except the dash is specific to your truck and you can go back to stock for the most part on everything you mentioned.
Yep

And yes I have changed seat and fenders already so far 😀

Every freightliner I've ever driven except the cascadia has alot of rattling on the interior after 200k miles.
Can you grind the lip off of the window visor?
I did lol 😆

Can you legally run paper logs on these gliders?
Yes if they are pre 2000 engines

Sounds about right lol 😆
How’s the fuel mileage
5 to 6 average
Should I get a 2015 with 1999 isx engine ? 800k miles 45k let me.know plz.
If it's in good shape I would thoroughly look it over in person and then make my decision. Nothing wrong with a 99 Cummins
Where did you get those cup holders inserts from?

I would do the hard plastic black fenders if you do full fenders. the window visors are the dumbest thing I have seen lol..

Hey mate how are freight liner in general looking at a 2013 on air glide with a dd13
I like freightliners that's what I run I would go for a dd15 though dd13 low horsepower
What's the top speed on it with a load and Bobcat?
No governor around 80mph with gearing I have
Enjoy making your truck look the way you want it to!
agree..
You can probably take a angle grinder and take that lip off the window visors.
Spoiler alert for my next video lol 😆
What is your mpg?
It was around 5.5
@@MakeMoneyTrucking i just bought midroof 2015 glider with N14 in it. I am littlest what MPG will be. Can I ask why your Mpg so low?
@@Dophill260 hauling local around 85k to 100k pounds if on the highway hauling under 80k probley would get 6.5

So...... You hate the truck... Whu did you buy it? Everything you hate is something that someone has put on it!
Kinda the point of the video
The problems on the truck is aftermarket that legacy lo seat is nice 👌
Ya I just don't like sitting on the ground not my thing
I know right lol those are what around a grand new....
Why buy that truck if you dislike so much about it?
Was the only one I could find for a good deal
Then why did you buy it 😭
Those sit are after market not the original
Hey i use 2015 coronado can you guide me how to idle ??
Turn Cruise on bump idle up
Look like that is us 1st truck.. that seat call low rider
Us or 1st truck it's my 7th truck if thats what your asking
Dude.... get you a cheap factory seat if you want to ride in the windshield. Our 13 is great. Sounds like you need a Volvo.
Sell it to me..
Sorry I already sold it
Damn, that was a short lived romance.
Look at my 2016, I ain't got none of those problems, I think it looks cool 😎 that is not as cool as mine of course😂 It'a be aw'right

Not sure
I drive Fords mostly and Freightliners
The seat literally says legacy low for low rider 🤣
Wtf lol. If you don't like it. Why the hell you bought it 😆
I sold it
I have 16 coronado's and all my drivers loves them , You just don't appreciate what you have so stop bitching 😂
No I won't stop
But I liked the truck but I sold it
Would have ruined it in the dirt
