Funny how Cuban broke it up to try and get the Defensive Player of the Year in Dwight Howard and Lets Tyson go, Who went on to be the Defensive Player of the Year.
Mavs lost 4 out of 5 to the extremely talented Thunder the next year but in 3 of those losses they had it tied in the final minute(or minutes).
Tyson would have certainly been a factor and therefore it's likely the Mavs go back to the Finals instead of the Thunder and yeah they might lose to the Cheat that time, But if they gave the Heat any Friction at all, You might have seen them fold up like they did in this series, especially knowing that they not only knew but also Dallas Knew they could beat them.

Dirk was really clutch during the 2011 Playoff run, and really clutch in the Finals, however Dirk didn't play that well overall in the 2011 Finals. Statistically Dirk's numbers can't come close to any MJ playoff run, and especially in the Finals. And especially because Jordan was also a great defender.
Dirk was fantastic in the 2011 Playoffs, but it was really the whole team that was most impressive. Dirk only had to score 17 points in the closeout game against the Lakers and Dallas won 122-86.
