Luka can’t move side to side cause he’s a big terrible defender. They lost both ball games cause it’s way to easy to go by him.

True story wildes is a master mixer
That tin man turn to Nick lmfao
This is deep truth...
Wildes is the Kobe Bryant of Ernie Johnson
It was more fun when the Patriots were relevant and Wildes could at least get under Nick's football skin a little more.
If they’re going to talk about how the “Celtics aren’t very good at home” then they better be talking about how the Celtics are historically great on the road in the playoffs over the past few seasons
No no no, that makes too much sense
Road dogs stealing one 😈

Undefeated on the road this season
They have been good at home in the playoffs this season. 8-2 and pretty much have romped in most of those games.
Tin Man and Cone mode. Keep Wildes on this show at all costs😂😂😂
Not even a Boston fan but why is everybody so shocked? Boston has been showing they’re a good team all year
because they played no one in playoffs and the have a SUPER TEAM w my more talent then KD Warriors
And because Kyrie playing so bad
Crazy how it's gone from "Mavs in 5 or 6 with the best backcourt in history" to "Luka needs help" 😂😂
He does need help, someone needs to teach him how to stop players from blowing past him
@@greatone275they also need to teach kyrie how to score
That’s literally how it goes when your team doesn’t show up- if they show up it’s a different narrative
Low iq analysis. Kyrie is shooting zero percent from three.
Kyrie is just a name no performance
Yeah, I guess Boston defense is too much for Kyrie to operate in the drives
Last time Nick predicted Mavs in 5, they lost to the Warriors in 5 😂.
Remember, the series hasn't started yet. So they just need 4 of the next 5 and that's Mavs in 5 😅😅
Just wait for Nick Wright to change his name to Nick A. Wrong.......... Nick Always Wrong
I also remember him picking the Mavs to win it all at the start of the 22-23 season, just for them to end up getting eliminated with a game left in the season.

He meant “Mavs (in Cancun) in 5” 😂
Jason Tatum basically getting double and triple teamed and is doing other things to help his team
Nobody is getting triple teamed lol

Luka getting D up too! And he's still getting 30. Not a gd excuse. Tatum's shot will fall. He's just in a shooting slump.
Ur reaching bruh
Tatum long over due for an offensive explosion, what better time to do it up 2-0 in finals ? One or 2 great games all JT needs , he’s still leading team in AST & REB.
And everyone is acting as if JT isn't the player that's getting guarded the toughest in the entire series. He's the only player getting constantly double teamed, but he's not the best player on the team? The Mavs are very aware that no matter how good JB plays, Holliday, Porzingis, and White play, JT is a completely different BEAST when he gets going, hence why they still double team him, and everyone else on defense is looking at him when he has the ball
I think he goes off tonight. If it was me I would be tired of these ESPN bozo’s telling me I’m not that guy and Luka this and Luka that

It's a persona dude.. You really think if his life was on the line if he didn't pick the winner of the series in the exact amount of games he would be picking mavs in 5?
@@michaelangst6078 Great and he's reacting to the persona.
Taking moral victories when being down 0-2 in the FINALS is insane🙃😂
Remember when Nick said Kyrie didn’t have to be great for the Mavs to win the series?

These analysts change up more than the weather in nj😅😅😅
They said kyrie and Luka was the best and the celtics had an easy road. No the celtics playing the best and haven't loss😂😂😂😂
He doesn't need to be great like 30 PPG, but he can't be bad. There is a difference.
Nick has been underestimating the Celtics forever. It's so satisfying no matter how much he is coping at the moment. Calling Tatum's game a D- solely because of his shooting is what's wrong with how media covers sports these days. What about defense, his playmaking ability, his rebounding? Do you think scoring is the only thing he's good at? Yes, he's shooting terribly, but so what.
Right. If assists and rebounds are role player stats, why do we get do hype when sunshine gets a triple double? Shouldn't we only care about the points?? Tatum's issue is too many wildly contested shots.
Reminds me of the kobe game against the Celtics where he shot poorly did everything else to make up for it
Shooting matters the most by far, if Luka had Tatum’s splits but played better defense, was rebounding great and making all the right plays we’d be killing Luka because he can’t score
Exactly
@@Tha_Triggaand he keeps on missing layups 🤬 he did it in the finals agasinst the warriors as well. I can deal with him missing jumpers but not lay ups. He would have an extra 8 points a game if he made his layups
“TinMan Mode” is the best bit ever
I like the "Tin Man adjacent." lol, he said it right after, lol. Wildes is a HOF instigator
That Tin Man move when Wildes looks @ Nick tho…got me…
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Luka may be the best offensively in this series but he’s become a turnstile on defense, both Brown & Tatum are blowing by him to the rim with ease.
I want Mavs to win, but yep
Lot of delusional Mavs fans think Luka can do no wrong.
He's been a massive negative on defense to cancel out his offense.
He's hurt, he's tired. Are those excuses valid? Maybe.
Does that change the facts? Absolutely not.
There’s also something to be said about whether Luka can win a championship playing like this where he is an offense to himself and dictates a slower pace every time. Sometimes an offense that is controlled by the entire team tends to win more and have a higher ceiling
I mean, you can't ask Luka to be the entire offense and play defense. He's the only reason the team is even in these games at any point. These guys are humans after all and you can't expect a guy to score 30 PPG while also standing in the way of the other team's top players. You'd risk foul trouble too.
He doesn't have to be the whole team if they switched up the offense. He pounds the rock and his teammates aren't involved. No ball movement when he or Kyrie has the ball.
@@THE_BEAR_JEW It can be done, Jordan, Kobe, Lebron etc. but Luca had been playing better defense going into this series, could be because of the injuries but he’s become a liability on defense that is costing the team.
Will anyone ever credit JRUE for good defense?!?
Don’t be dumb, everyone already knows he’s the best two-way guard in the game
They’re very reluctant to lol
They literally said they don’t see kyrie being great with Jrue on him. Open those ears
Wildes literally said I don’t think Kyrie can play great with Jrue on him
Start the video over and actually listen this time
The thing about the Giannis comparison and the Bucks run, the Bucks had good role players (Khris, Jrue, etc.) who played a big part in their run. Mavs are concerning because outside of Luka, everyone is selling hard. Especially Kyrie.

Why is it so important to know who is the best player in a team?
Because of narratives. Basketball-wise it doesn't amount to much.
Cuz the Celtics dominating all year and being the best team in the entire league thru the playoffs is boring. Need something else to talk about.
It's not, example: Malcom Butler, Hightower, and Adam Vinitieri all won super bowls with one single play, neither was "the best" on a team featuring TB12 🐐, my point is it's called a team for a reason. (also, Red Sox won a world series solely due to a Dave Roberts steal of second base, definitely not "the best" either ⚾)

This man Nick Wright really compared this Boston Celtics team to the 2004 Detroit Pistons, on top of claiming that Jayson Tatum is comparative to Clyde Drexler.
My goodness, the takes this guy has are just unworldly fascinating.
You literally can’t explain what’s wrong with that take.
He compare Tatum’s status in the league to Drexler’s not his game.
He compared the Celtics to the Pistons in terms of them having a more balanced team contribution as opposed to traditional superstar(s) carry jobs.
@@mani-xc9rs What status in comparison to Tatum?
In 16 seasons Clyde made 1 All NBA 1st team (throughout expansionary 90’s).
Tatum has 3 in his first 7 seasons (most dense concentration of NBA talent in league history)
Safe to say you’re reaching, my boy.
And 2004 Pistons? Let’s be fr here. We’re only choosing to draw dire comparisons here because this is unprecedented territory and no one wants to accept that this Celtics team is 1 of 1. They’re not in comparison with any team, past or present. They are in a unique class of their own because they have 5 guys who can go for 20+, and 2 stars that can get you 30+ on a daily. Detroit doesn’t have that, not even in their best days. And also, Ben Wallace is not a perimeter threat so there’s no one on the Celtics you can compare him to.
@@AbelAraya Clyde was a fringe top 5 player in his prime but couldn’t be a clear cut #1 on a championship team kinda like Tatum.
The comparison to the Pistons stems from the fact that both teams had no player that realistically should be in the best player in the league conversation but are instead a balanced team full of talent that get major contributions from a plethora of players as opposed to a consistent duo or individual that’s having to be consistently great.
@@mani-xc9rs 2003-04 Pistons had only 1 All Star on that team, and that was their center Ben Wallace, and he was also the only player on that team to get any recognition for end of season awards (All NBA 2nd team, 1st team All Defense), whereas Boston had 2 all stars, and 3 players in All NBA selections.
Lets stop with these comparisons to teams of the past, and learn to relish what we're seeing at the moment; a great balancing act of 2 superstars, surrounded by elite star role players. This is unprecedented and I think it's unfair to suddenly compare their success to teams of the past.
