Like A Version is a segment on Australian radio station triple j. Every week a musician or band comes into the studio to play one of their own songs and cover a song they love. Since 2004, many artists have participated, including Childish Gambino, Lorde, CHVRCHES, Tame Impala, Tash Sultana, HAIM, Gang of Youths, Halsey, DMA'S, Aurora, Arctic Monkeys. very gutsy to try an exact copy of this song. extremely well executed, dont think i could have asked for more out of a cover. loved all the attention to detail. vocals were incredible and extremely close, just lovely.

A cover like this is really fun to do and play when you're fucking around but I can't see any reason to do this for LAV when I can google the song and see it done by Radiohead almost exactly note for note.

I'm in a Radiohead tribute in the UK and we perform this song live around 50 times every year........ We have to stick to how Radiohead do their songs, but I absolutely LOVE this version, which keeps, I believe, the main elements and the changes are spot on. The piano and then drums on 'rain down' are stunning. The guys voice is amazing. The harmonies are to die for. Thanks so much for creating this version. Beautiful.

I would rarely recommend anyone to try and cover Radiohead exactly how it sounds on the record - but this is done insanely well - mix is tight and all the performances are top notch and blend so well with the song!!!

Everytime BPM makes a cover on like a version it is always are hard to perform yet well executed song (vampire weekend, Radiohead) and there own music is very well written and performed. Tight band and one of the best guest on Like A Version in my Opinion

Brilliant cover. They knocked it out of the ball park.
it was ambitious to try the song in its original format, particularly trying to mimic Thom Yorke's higher vocals, which are a lot smoother.
but I think the rest of the song they pulled off pretty well. a classic that's not easily replicated.
That "ooooooo" sounded like the spirit of Jeff Buckley was being channeled in with his gracefullness. Excellent cover! The vocals, backing vocals, and all instrumental participation was superb. To perform a cover of this degree, means these musicians are truly feeling the music of Radiohead, it comes out through this entire performance. Bravo!🎉
Funny you should say, as I have read Thom Yorke was so impressed by Buckley’s vocals after seeing Jeff live at Highbury before recording Fake Plastic Trees.

It’s so clear that Radiohead are a huge inspiration to BPM - you only have to listen to their music to hear that Radiohead is probably their biggest influence.

I listened to the original version and this version back to back and i didnt think anyone could sing this song better than Radiohead but i think i enjoyed this version better...there were only slight differences but what an amazing outcome! Def getting my vote in the hottest 100 this year...absolutely loved it Ball Park Music...best like a version for 2020!!
