NOTE: Since people have asked/noticed--I was a little under the weather the night this was recorded, so I didn't hold the note at 0:49 as long as I'd wanted. We did the song twice that night, so I used the vocals from the other performance to fill in that one spot. The rest of what you're seeing/hearing is the same performance.

As someone that has played professionally for 20 years with great success, I would never have attempted this classic song purely because it is so technically difficult. But you guys nailed it - I am in awe!

Like, if i walked into my local Pizza joint to order a Pizza and this happened, i would most probably just drop on the floor in fetal position. There is no way i would be taking a pizza home. I would however stay and drink many beers. My god these two are amazing!!!!!

Same here. Our own comments are always at the top when you read them, and I made mine 11 years ago. Someone will usually respond to a comment I left a year ago in the, well, comments section, and I'll think, "Oh shit. I need some Mike Masse music therapy." The audience in a lot of his videos, not this one, don't seem to appreciate how great Mike and Jeff are. I would have been obese if I lived near that pizza parlor, and these guys played there on a regular basis.
The most amazing part of this performance is that Paranoid Android is normally played by a 5 piece. Not just a 5 piece, but a 5 piece with several of the 5 musicians playing multiple instruments as the song goes along. It's so impressive how they captured all the primary dynamics of the song with just two musicians using 1 very basic layer of equipment each. Excellent musicianship here.

What cracks me up is the venue. I always imagine the camera reversing, and seeing a bunch of people eating pizza with their chins on the floor. I damn well know if I went out to eat pizza and this happened I'd be sitting there with my chin on the floor.

Hi Mike - I've been a Radiohead fan since seeing them at a small gig before they shot to fame in the 90's, and have had a lifelong obsession with them ever since. They're very dear to my heart and have featured as pretty much the soundtrack to my entire life. I've seen loads of covers of various songs of theirs over the years and no one has ever come close to doing their work justice - until now. Honestly, not only are you a talented musician and vocalist, but your arrangement and execution of this track - one of the greatest songs ever written in the modern rock era - is nothing short of staggering and breath taking. I had Goosebumps pretty much the entire way through and i can't think of a better compliment than this. Amazing.

I am not a professional musician (or at least not anymore) but I have been playing the guitar for 25 years and went to college studying electric bass. I have played that tune with a friend a couple of years ago and it is extremely difficult to play this song giving it its soul. Not only the voice but the instrument dynamics in the different parts are important. The small transition at 2:49 is the most difficult part to render when only acoustic. The whole song was done masterfully. Jeez, these people at that pizzaria have just no clue how awesome these 2 guys are and the quality of the performance they have just witnessed.

Wow, just WOW!!! This is one of the best, if not THE best, covers of this song I have ever heard! The craziest thing about it is...you're playing in a FUCKN PIZZERIA!!! And the dude on the bass totally killed the vocals in the third section!

Wow, huge props, guys. And while you're both spot on I have to say, Jeff Hall, your backing vocals during the song's amazingly lush and melancholic bridge is so perfect. Without it the whole performance would have a gaping hole but you both hit this out of the park together.

What I love about this performance (and those like it) is that it shows that great songs/performances don't need full bands, autotune, DJs.. you just need a great singer(s) and one or two well played instruments (and a great song). Too bad Radiohead never did an unplugged... this performance makes me jonez for one. Oh- and great video. Thanks for the upload of a great performance. My coworkers are wondering why I am all teary eyed now. I need to go jack up my 4x4 or add an LED light bar or something to balance this out.
