    • @iurhviusdfavhi
      @iurhviusdfavhi 6 лет назад +6

      SimplyBurt and I think it causes more season long bruises and soreness to the defense, I would seriously run Derrick Henry to the left Edge like 15 times every single game.

    • @Rampant16
      @Rampant16 6 лет назад +9

      iurhviusdfavhi lmao that is not how nfl play calling works. You can't run left edge runs 15 times a game and expect the defense not to adjust to them.

    • @RobertAmosIV
      @RobertAmosIV 6 лет назад +2

      He had a few massive break away runs that inflates the stat a lot. I'm curious what it is with those factored out.

      JacketsNest101 considering that if you ignore just two of his long runs (72 and 75 yards) from the season, his overall YPA drops from 4.2 to 3.4, I would imagine that the left side stat takes a massive hit since I believe both of those were on the left!

    Couldn't agree more about Henry being a zone-scheme runner. Every time Mularkey and his guys wanted him to run straught downhill and just go through defenders simply because he's 250 pounds, I was shaking my head. I mean he ran some jet sweeps at Bama!

    This brings a smile to my face, the only thing you left out was how ridiculously good Mariota was in playaction. I haven't drafted my team yet, most leagues I'm in wait till week 4 of preseason, i'm fully expecting to be able to get Mariota and Henry later than their end of season value would indicate. The parallels I have drawn for the Titans has been closest with the Falcons tho, rather than the Rams. Mariota's playstyle, while mobile, isnt at the RG3 level, he's way closer to how they used Ryan in 2015.

      Yeah Right Bro, that douchebag Josh was mocking the offense with the first possession running the type of offense Mularkey would run.
      They stopped screwing around when Mariota led that TD drive, then it was game over when Conklin went down as Mike predictably didn't deviate from his plan afterwards.

    I'd like your take on Marcus in the new offense. You did a bit but w/your knowledge of the game i'd like to see what type of upside he has. I know that in the Rams offence, Jared Goff finished 3rd in ypa in play action pass, also had the #1 offence. Marcus finished 1st in ypa in the play action pass. I can only predict he's going to be much more confortable, especially w/Dion Lewis in the backfield, & a deep WR core that goes back to Tajae Sharpe. I feel they're going to be much more explosive than ppl think. #titanup !!

He allowed a career-high passer rating of 103.3 on throws into his coverage while he managed to notch just 12 combined pass break ups and interceptions, a significant drop off from the impressive marks he’d set in his previous seasons as starter.

    The AFC South seems like the new powerhouse division. From the Jags vicious defense, the Deshaun Watson led Texans, and the youthful Titans who have consistently added talent for the past few years. Plus, these teams have 2 free wins with Indy which will help their record. We may see 3 teams from the same division in one playoff

    The Titans went further than most teams last year even with a 'dated' scheme both on offense and defense. That fact alone is indicative of the sheer talent they have as players. I have to feel sorry for them however. This will be their 4th coaching change in 5 years. This cannot be easy on the players on any measure. As with ANY coaching change the expectation to be instantly better is just an idea and never a reality. It will take a lot more than an OTA and camp for things to settle and click. But I admire Brett's enthusiasm. When the clicking begins this team will be nearly unstoppable. The New England way has arrived in Smashville.

      Yes he is. I've been following him and Barkley since they were in HS. Guice was the #2 Rb in Hs the same year as Barkley who was #11. He broke some of Fournette's records at LSU. Everyone knows he's the 2nd best Rb in this draft after Barkley. If you knew football you would know LSU is old school hard nose running and barely throws to RB's but Guice was above average in all his combine catching drills. Better pure runner than Penny and Michel and can catch out of the backfield. Penny went to San Diego State who plays?... NO ONE! and Michel was in a committee at UGA and wasn't even the starter Nick Chubb was lmao, Michel isn't strong or big enough to carry the ball 20+ times consistently, thats why he was in a committee in college and thats why the patriots got him, because they like using multiple RB's they never use just one. Lmao you can"t talk to me about football until you learn positions and come up with a valid argument kid, being used in the slot is not the main job of a running back hahaha,

    Great video, it’s so funny listening to these fan boys make comments who don’t know a first down from a punt but anyway you are smart. Let’s look at the AFC South. Call me a homer but the Tennessee is the best team in this division.
    Jaguars: Swept them with a mediocre coach
    Texans: good offense but the defensive stars are not in their prime plus ACL is a beast to come back from and the Oline is horrible
    Colts: Luck and that’s it and he’s not healthy
    Titans: the best roster and pretty young roster. Mariota had one bad season. One look at the other two and talk to me and yes fanboys you are welcome

    • @mikemc8127
      @mikemc8127 6 лет назад

      Nicholas Reardon who has a better roster I’m not talking about starters I’m talking about overall roster because more than any sport in football you need depth and I don’t see it in any other AFC South team

    • @mikemc8127
      @mikemc8127 6 лет назад

      Minnie Mullaly I don’t see that especially with Blake Bortles as the Jaguars QB and Fournette isn’t good look what happens to him when he plays against teams that are good at stopping the run. Steelers are overrated and will probably be a wildcard.

    • @mikemc8127
      @mikemc8127 6 лет назад

      Nicholas Reardon ok let’s get to it and I’m not just a fan I’ve played college football and overseas professional football. Better starters: Titans: OL, QB, RB, WR, TE, LB Jaguars:DL, DB. And to back up my overall roster what backups would you play on the jaguars, we have better depth at every position but I’ll go with 4 positions, no WR for the Jags could be on the Titans 3rd string, no one besides Norwell could compete for a starting job on the OL, You have one starting LB in Telvin Smith and the rest are trash, and as far as your CB yes Ramsey and Bouye are good but who else do you have church the tape about your safeties. And since I don’t follow the rest of the AFC south we have the best OL, a top 2 QB, the best RB, besides the Texans the best WR core, the best TE , a good DB room, the best FS, a good LB core that can compete every week so I’ll wait on a stupid ass response
