I'm a Vikings fan, but man I really like Matthew Stafford as a QB. He's incredibly quick when it comes to throwing the ball, and can dominate at the biggest moments in the game.
Stafford has been my favorite QB ever since the fake spike against the Cowboys. I'm not even a Lions fan, but I remember watching that game when half the stadium left the game and he led the Lions to one of the most clutch games from a QB that I have ever seen.
And we would've won if it weren't for 2 finger tips, 8 seconds, and literal inches. Coming from a lions fan I didn't expect a perfect season but jfc, also didn't expect the first loss to be this gutwrenching.

The only thing that's limiting Stafford's potential is A. the Lions' atrocious running game (which I predict significant improvement in, given not just the acquisition of Blount, but also a new offensive line coach), and B. when he tries to force dumb shit that he doesn't need to force (which will also aided by the run game improvements, when it's not just Stafford literally being the entire Lions offense).
Why don't you these types of shows on ESPN. Great stuff. This kind of analysis gives rise to great players like Stafford who have not been on winning teams but are truly among the best. Should be a great game.

Yeah, I think he's 8-1 with a 100 yard rusher. Pretty damn sad that he's only had 9 100 yard rushers in 10 years. Most of that offense had been quarterback play, and he had them in games they had no business competing in.
The refs make the biggest difference , lions & titans always get robbed , packers get unlimited o-line holding (national fan base) too much nfl money at stake
As a Lions fan, I must admit Lions wins do mostly come from 4th qtr. It's just not voodoo but team not giving up, fighting for the win and believing in themselves. Game is 4qtrs long for a reason, after 3 qtrs a lead is just a lead XD

Great video! Every good qb can tear apart cover 3, the falcons know they're giving up underneath passes to rbs. Rbs coming out the back field is not impossible to stop, especially by fast linebackers like the falcons have. Theyll make adjustments and the falcons will dominate this game. With your mention of the game of attrition that Stafford played against the Giants, it actually got me thinking about a QB a lot of people have been talking about lately. I'm hopeful that at some point you might consider doing a film room video on Tony Romo? Specifically his maturation as a quarterback, because it's, in my opinion, one of the most perfect examples of development I've ever seen. I understand that he's retired, but in my observation he went from a prototypical sandlot quarterback like Favre, and in his later years transitioned to something closer Peyton (queue the idiots screeching about playoff wins). I just think it's the perfect time to do it considering the buzz around what he's been able to do in the booth.

Not having Megatron's and Suh's giant contracts has given the Lions the opportunity to build a more well rounded roster.
