The cable that comes with purchase of O3 Air Unit plugs directly into the SpeedyBee F7 V3 which I thought was awesome, I'm using their stack on my first quad
You are correct! Still would have loved a cable to be included, all manufacturers used to include the DJI connector when the original air unit released.
The speedybee stuff blows iflight out of the water.
Ya so far really good experience. Only problem is that the F7 V3 stack is really tall and I am having an issue installing it in my latest build which has a low profile frame.
I’m digging my F7 V3
Vamos Mango! Desperate Suscriber here! Thanks for all this excellent material.
I have both of these stacks, the new version 50 amp for five inch and the smaller FC for a 4 inch build coming up.
So the mini stack, already comes with the blue jay already on it?
I love mine. I just switched from 1507 motors to 2205 motors on this ESC. So far no issues.
👍
Thanks for the comment. Is this on the Mini or Full size stack?
@@Mangorille the 20x20 stack.
@@MadDragon75 Nice, those are fairly large motors for a 20x20 but then again they did test that stack at full output for 30 seconds.
@@Mangorille well, my first flight pulled 61amps I believe, in around 3 minutes on 4S.
I didn't notice any excess heat.
@@MadDragon75 Awesome!
9:05 Hi just a quick question the power inducter I see on your speedibee 50 amp doesn´t look like other reviews I saw it online your`s like round or covered by somenthing did you had any problems with the esc?
It looks like there is some protective glue/epoxy on there. No problems, I only recently got this and straight from SpeedyBee so it might be something that they've started adding to the latest ones coming off the line.
Just curious, are the schematics and firmware available for just the SpeedyBee F7 V3's top/logic board (the one with the STM32F7422, not the BL32 50A 4-in-1 Electronic-Speed-Control or 45A BLHELI32 board)?
I like that it has Barometer BMP280 , IMU/Gyro BMI270 and ESP32-S3 (bluetooth/wifi).. so just want to purchase the top alone (not the Voltage Regulators / Battery Elimination Circuit board) to play as a development board with my own sensors (ex. Beitian BN-880)
However, I'm concerned that I won't be able to flash/debug using SWD.. or if it's somehow locked to be used only with the Betaflight 3.5.2 / Emuflight / iNav firmware / app?
BTW, is there a parts list of drones/motors/GPS/etc that is sure to work when plugging the F7 V3 as a stack?
You can buy the flight controller separately but if I understand the kind of schematic you are looking for, I haven't see anything like that. You'd probably want to reach out to SpeedyBee directly and see if they can point you in the right direction. I'm working on a build with this stack and I'll have the parts list in the video description once uploaded.
the motor pads are close to the FET on the mini
Ya they are, you need to make sure the soldering iron doesn't slip.
I am having an issue with my speedybee f7 stack, Can't get inputs in betaflight, using elrs rx and tx16s tx. uarts are right, rx/tx are switched, any many variations of all the above. Did you have any issues or have suggestions, I changed rx's no change, changed new f7v3, no change. Thanks
When you run the LUA script for ExpessLRS, does it say Model Mismatch at the top where you have the number of packets?
This would be my favorite FC if i can figure out the correct resource & PINIO info for DJI aux switch.
I haven't done this before but JB has some videos on PINIO and switching things on/off with it. Maybe start there?
does this work with DJI 03 air unit?
The full size one or the mini? And are you asking if it is plug and play (no soldering) with the o3 air unit?
What’s up with the financial advice LOL you have been bombed 😮 20 comments not related to your video at all!
Yup, so obvious too.
the v2 version is absolute absolute garbage. The uarts fail randomly on 3 boards i have used. I soldered correctly all of them because they did work for about three flight. I would change the uart to a different uart and it would work again for a bit then quit working slowly and randomly after about 3 flights. Absolute Garbage.
That's annoying, thankfully I haven't had any problems at least yet on this stack.
