Thanks for doing this review. I'm about to put these on my Tracer 900gt. Seeing as that l am a index finger braker. and have had situations where l have ran out of enough pressure with the standard brake pads. I think these will be a good upgrade for me. It will be interesting to see how they go trail braking on my favorite mountain roads
when i upgraded the brakes on my fz6r back in the day, it was an eye opener. same with the bolt. couldn't believe how much more confident I was when coming into turns. the tigers brakes are like galaxies better than those two combined, but the long suspension means lotsa dive. can stop the bike on a friggin dime, but that front end is movin!
I'm looking to get the transalp in the near future, wondering if I should get Break pads from day 1. The new tiger 900 is pretty perfect but I don't wanna give any money to triumph
@@DragoniteMotoJP not sure about the Transalp. It is a price point motorcycle, so I would imagine they cut a few corners. I would check out big rock moto or dork in the road. They both have been doing extensive testing on it
@YankiRides I've seen there stuff. I was a mechanic for yamaha tokyo and a custom builder before that so I don't mind sorting out Hondas "cost savings" for such a quails over all package plus reliability. And it's 45% cheaper than the tiger here in japan😅 So I'll have some wiggle room for the mods
I'll definitely go for upgraded brake pads on my next service. You're totally right about japanese brands not providing enough. I mean, Transalp doesn't have cruise control...for real. 😮
I’m contemplating on putting some on my 2022 Tracer 9 GT on the front. My Ducati Monster has better bite, but it also has stainless braided brakelines.
Hello Mister Kairyu Rider. Thank you for the informative Video. Seeing you are a distinguished gentleman yourself, also riding a MT07 and modding it, I've got a pretty degenerate question, please do not judge me. A while ago I saw a MT07 with a Speedometer-Protector that had an anime girl etched into the background. It offered protection and is barely visible in sunlight, but visible when the LCD is on. It's kind of a meme but it thought it's so hilarious, I gotta have it. Have you seen those screen protectors? I've been looking for them all over the internet but haven't found anything. I'd be willing to DIY it.
i always thought the MT-07 was a great bike, years later after getting my license I had a chance to ride the first gen and it felt like the junkiest, cheapest piece of crap I ever sat on. Fearings creaking, buttons, controls made from cheap plastic and rust, there wasn't anything that felt like a quality piece of equipment on it - it was a cheap bike. But now it isn't as cheap now there are other options that offer a better quality, more features and are priced similarly or bit higher and the MT-07 is not as attractive as it used to be. The GSX-8S is a gem and if I wasn't going for the 2024 MT-09 I would definietly get one.
Good points regarding the breaking performance. Best brakes are not always the right brakes.

The cost of tubless wheels for Honda over the standard is only $300 since they already make them for the A.T.
Stupid.

The lines made a bigger difference.
But these are a cheaper, easier way to get very close.

Sorry, this is the first I'm hearing of it
